Sunday Morning Prayer (Wk11/2021)

Abba Father, I lift my eyes, hands, heart, mind, spirit and soul to You and give You thanks. I give You all the glory, honour and praise. I ask you to forgive me of all sins whether it be of thought, word or deed.

Today, I ask You to prepare me for what Your Spirit is to say to my spirit. May I not miss a single thing but be open to receive and ready to take hold, of every Word. All scripture has been given to feed us, your people, with full knowledge and understanding of You and the world laid before us. May my spirit be in a state of acceptance to what your women and men say, as they expound on Your Word. Help me as I study the Word, via them, so will study to show myself approved and be anointed by Your Words. I want nothing more than, to correctly analyse and divide Your Word, as it flows. I ask that You protect me from all disruptions, distractions or situations, that the enemy will bring my way to interrupt what I am to receive. I come ready to be filled to an overflow and set on my way for the new season that I am being called to.

To grant [consolation and joy] to those who mourn in Zion—to give them an ornament (a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment [expressive] of praise instead of a heavy, burdened, and failing spirit—that they may be called oaks of righteousness [lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God], the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.

Isaiah 61:3 (AMPC)

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you [the priestly nation] have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you that you shall be no priest to Me; seeing you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children.

Hosea 4:6 (AMPC)

By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?

Matthew 7:16 (AMPC)

Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!

2 Corinthians 5:17 (AMPC)

Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth.

2 Timothy 2:15 (AMPC)

Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

Hebrews 11:1 (AMPC)

20 Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),

21 Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages).

Amen (So be it)

Hebrews 13:20-21 (AMPC)

Saturday Morning Prayer (Wk11/2021)

El Elyon, the Most High God, I give You glory, honour and praise. I give You thanks and worship Your Holy Name. I cast all my burdens upon You and rest assured, because You care for me. I ask for forgiveness of my sins, whether they be of thoughts, words and deeds. I thank You that all I need do is ask and it will be given, as long as it is within Your will. I trust in You.

Today, as I wake, I continue within the theme of mirroring You. As I go deeper into Your Word, it shows me what I can expect when I truly mirror You and begin to reflect Your goodness. There is gladness, joy, peace and I will be clothed with Your righteousness, which is what most who answer the call, want to receive. I will be changed and become an oak of righteousness; strong, mighty and durable. With the Messiah within and beside me, I will be able to withstand much. No matter the mental and physical tests, trials and pains, I shall overcome. I understand that being Your child doesn’t alleviate things from my life but enables me to withstand it all; weathering the storm, as I am not alone. For my past woes and tribulations, and those to come, there is a salve; oil of gladness. For a life that seemed to allow my focus to be on the simmering coals, of what used to bring me too much joy, I now have beauty instead of ashes. When I do these things, I will become available to You and Your glory will be made manifest in my life.

For now we are looking in a mirror that gives only a dim (blurred) reflection [of reality as in a riddle or enigma], but then [when perfection comes] we shall see in reality and face to face! Now I know in part (imperfectly), but then I shall know and understand fully and clearly, even in the same manner as I have been fully and clearly known and understood [by God].

1 Corinthians 13:12 (AMPC)

And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.

2 Corinthians 3:18 (AMPC)

Hebrews 13:20-21 (AMPCC)

Friday Morning Prayer (Wk11/2021)

Abba Father, I give thanks You are the Good Shepherd and there is no thing that I shall want. I have a life of no lack in front of me. I have a life laid before me that is for the taking. I only need to ask, with belief, and it shall be mine. I have made the decision to hold on until the end; until death. I thank You that before the foundation of the earth, You chose me! HalleluYah!

Today, I think of all the ways that I can mirror who You are. I am called to be holy, as You are holy. I can only do it by Your guidance, help and strength. Before I can live holy, I have to truly understand what it is. Father, remove anything from my mental, physical and spiritual self that may hinder me living a life consecrated and sanctified to You. I pray that You will prepare me to be a sanctuary where You will find me as a place where You can dwell. Help me as a read Your Word, that I will understand and begin to know You. Help me as I know You, that I will become enlightened. Allow my belief to become knowledge and wisdom; and help me as I attempt to make room for You to rest within me. As time goes by, may what I see in the physical and spiritual mirror, be an apparent and true reflection of You.

The Lord is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack.

Psalm 23:1 (AMPC)

15 But as the One Who called you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all your conduct and manner of living.

16 For it is written, You shall be holy, for I am holy.

17 And if you call upon Him as [your] Father Who judges each one impartially according to what he does, [then] you should conduct yourselves with true reverence throughout the time of your temporary residence [on the earth, whether long or short].

18 You must know (recognize) that you were redeemed (ransomed) from the useless (fruitless) way of living inherited by tradition from [your] forefathers, not with corruptible things [such as] silver and gold,

19 But [you were purchased] with the precious blood of Christ (the Messiah), like that of a [sacrificial] lamb without blemish or spot.

1 Peter 1:15-19 (AMPC)

20 Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),

21 Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages).

Amen (so be it).

Hebrews 13:20-21 (AMPC)

Thursday Morning Prayer (Wk11/2021)

Abba Father, as I wake, I give You all the glory, honour and praise; and I worship in Your presence. I take this moment to recognise You as The Great I Am, The Matchless King, You are my Peace; King of kings; Beginning and the End; Alpha and Omega; my Rock; my Salvation; and my Help. There are so many names, by which You can be known. I have been called to be holy as You are holy; help me to realise Your Son, Jesus Christ, as my Saviour.

Today, I think of how I am Your masterpiece. I came to You broken, smudged and undefined but now I am becoming a work of art. As I compare how I was to how I am now, I am thankful. The beauty is that no matter how many times I mess up; no matter how many times I may discolour: You God, will improve me when I am made over. Right from where I am, You will continue bringing me to the point where I am supposed to be, because Your Word tells me that You know the plans You have for me, plans of peace and not evil, to give me an expected end. I may delay the process when I take control but, as with Jonah (Book of Jonah 1), what You require, will still be done. Prepare me, so I am available to You. Allow me to hand full control over, so everything will be within Your timing and without delay. May I constantly remember the full power of Your resurrection and the high calling received. Things may have to fall off but, yes, I am ready. Things may have to change but, yes, I am ready. Things may need to be made new but, yes, I am ready to become your masterpiece.

He refreshes and restores my life (my self); He leads me in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing with Him—not for my earning it, but] for His name’s sake.

Psalm 23:3 (AMPC)

Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and uphold me with a willing spirit

Psalm 51:12 (AMPC)

Restore us, O Lord God of hosts; cause Your face to shine [in pleasure, approval, and favor on us], and we shall be saved!

Psalm 80:19 (AMPC)

May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound and be overflowing (bubbling over) with hope.

Romans 15:13 (AMPC)

For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].

Ephesians 2:10 (AMPC)

Wednesday Morning Thanksgiving (Wk11/2021) – Psalm 95

1 O come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation!

2 Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to Him with songs of praise!

3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

4 In His hand are the deep places of the earth; the heights and strength of the hills are His also.

5 The sea is His, for He made it; and His hands formed the dry land.

6 O come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker [in reverent praise and supplication].

7 For He is our God and we are the people of His pasture and the sheep of His hand. Today, if you will hear His voice,

8 Harden not your hearts as at Meribah and as at Massah in the day of temptation in the wilderness,

9 When your fathers tried My patience and tested Me, proved Me, and saw My work [of judgment].

10 Forty years long was I grieved and disgusted with that generation, and I said, It is a people that do err in their hearts, and they do not approve, acknowledge, or regard My ways.

Psalm 95 (AMPC)

Wednesday Morning Prayer (Wk11/2021)

Elohim hayyim, the Living God. El Emunah, the Faithful God. El Elyon, the God Most High. Adonai, my Lord and my Master. The One Who fattened the sky and land; Who separated the land with water and the water with land; Who spoke things into existence; Who threw the stars into space; Who made Heaven and Earth; Who made Adam and Eve; and Who has made everything that has ever existed. My Lord and my God, I spiritually lift You high and glorify You. I give You my heart, mind, soul and spirit and worship You.

Today, I take this moment to thank You that what is said to Your people in Your Word, both in the Old and New Testament, is relevant to all Your children. You guided Your people from the clutches of hate, evil, destitution and destruction then, and You do the same thousands of years later. I thank You that I am able to read, digest and consume those things, realising and being thankful for the covering I have from the Blood of Your Son Jesus Christ; from whom I have received a high calling. Help me to realise what my high calling is, be it great or small. You say in Your Word that within Your House there are many rooms and a place has been prepared for me. By Your grace, I will be ready. Help me to assist many to obtain the same, or realise what they have. Strengthen me, as the road I walk may be a lonely one, with no one on the left or right, but help me to stay focused. I trust in You.

And many people shall come and say, Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, that He may teach us His ways and that we may walk in His paths. For out of Zion shall go forth the law and instruction, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

Isaiah 2:3 (AMPC)

Then said Hezekiah to Isaiah, “The word of the Lord which you have spoken is good.” For he thought, “There will be peace and faithfulness [to God’s promises to us] in my days.”

Isaiah 39:8 (AMP)

3A voice of one is calling out, “Clear the way for the Lord in the wilderness [remove the obstacles]; Make straight and smooth in the desert a highway for our God.

4 “Every valley shall be raised, And every mountain and hill be made low; And let the rough ground become a plain, And the rugged places a broad valley.

Isaiah 40:2-4 (AMP)

Just look at your own calling, believers; not many [of you were considered] wise according to human standards, not many powerful or influential, not many of high and noble birth.

1 Corinthians 1:26 (AMP)

Jesus Our High Priest

Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, [thoughtfully and attentively] consider the Apostle and High Priest whom we confessed [as ours when we accepted Him as Savior], namely, Jesus;

Tuesday Morning Prayer (Wk11/2021)

El Elyon. The Most High God. The chorus says 🎵When I think of the goodness of Jesus, and what He has done for me, my soul cries out HalleluYah! Thank God for saving me!🎵 HalleluYah! HalleluYah! HalleluYah! I just have to give You all the glory; all the honour; and all the praise. So unworthy am I Lord but, You sent Your Son to be punished; His skin torn for me; the chastisement of my sins were upon Him, but I thank You, He did it all for me! Thank You Lord, for saving me! Therefore, I come before You giving adoration, glory, honour and praise. Not many, or all, want to do it, but I am here, Lord. I come before You in acceptance of what has been done and willing to lay my life before You and respond. Have. Your. Way.

Today, my prayer is that I will know You and the full power of Your resurrection. As I turn to the left and the right, so much may be around in my physical and spiritual space, to interrupt my peace, but I know You, the God I serve. Throughout the storm may I realise You in the midst. You have shown us what You have done for Your children throughout Your Word, place in me physically and spiritually that it shall be so for me. As I read Your Word may I understand it and You in another way. Help me not to lean on my own understanding. Help me to keep my focus on High. Help me to be led by Your Holy Spirit, because it shows that I am Your child. Help me to never fear. Help me to always remember that You will never leave nor forsake me. Help me to remember that I am Your child and, just as an earthly father loves his child and would do so much, You are capable and willing to do so much more. My life is in Your hands. So, today, remove the scales from my eyes and place in my spirit what I need to feel, hear, see and know about You, because You alone are my Lord and my God.

9 For in Him the whole fullness of Deity (the Godhead) continues to dwell in bodily form [giving complete expression of the divine nature].

10 And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead—Father, Son and Holy Spirit—and reach full spiritual stature]. And He is the Head of all rule and authority [of every angelic principality and power].

11 In Him also you were circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, but in a [spiritual] circumcision [performed by] Christ by stripping off the body of the flesh (the whole corrupt, carnal nature with its passions and lusts).

Colossians 2:9-11 9AMPC)

I am calling up memories of your sincere and unqualified faith (the leaning of your entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness), [a faith] that first lived permanently in [the heart of] your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am [fully] persuaded, [dwells] in you also.

2 Timothy 1:5 (AMPC)

Monday Morning Prayer (Wk11/2021)

You shall also decide and decree a thing, and it shall be established for you; and the light [of God’s favor] shall shine upon your ways.
Job 22:28 (AMPC)

My Lord and my God, I come before You this morning and give You all the glory honour, praise and thanks. I place You before my day and week, asking for Your continual guidance and protection. I ask for forgiveness of my sins, whether they be of thought, word or deed, and acknowledge You as my Deliverer, Healer, Lifter, Restorer and so much more. I know that I can ask these things and receive them, because Your Word confirms it. My God, You are Great.

Today, I decree and declare that I will be accepted into the Kingdom of Heaven, as my goal will be to humble myself, as You have requested. I will remove all existing blockages preventing the manifestation of my pending miracle. I will not depress, distress, judge, oppress, pull down or carry out, think or speak anything else negative against any person within my spiritual, blood family or potential inhabitants of Your Kingdom. As I try to do this, I know I will be successful. I stand on Your Word and trust in You.

Blessed (happy, to be envied, and spiritually prosperous—with life-joy and satisfaction in God’s favor and salvation, regardless of their outward conditions) are the poor in spirit (the humble, who rate themselves insignificant), for theirs is the kingdom of heaven!

Matthew 5:3 (AMPC)

Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls.

So get rid of all uncleanness and the rampant outgrowth of wickedness, and in a humble (gentle, modest) spirit receive and welcome the Word which implanted and rooted [in your hearts] contains the power to save your souls.

James 1:21 (AMPC)

So then, brethren, consecrated and set apart for God, who share in the heavenly calling, [thoughtfully and attentively] consider Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest Whom we confessed [as ours when we embraced the Christian faith].

Therefore humble yourselves [demote, lower yourselves in your own estimation] under the mighty hand of God, that in due time He may exalt you,

1 Peter 5:6 (AMPC)

20 Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),

21 Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages).

Saturday Morning Prayer (Wk10/2021)

Heavenly Father, I come before You giving You all the glory, honour, praise and thanksgiving, from my heart and my soul. Your Word says that when the praises go up, the blessings come down. Therefore, I lift up my heart and praise You this morning, expecting the unexpected. Beforehand, I ask You for forgiveness of sins of my thoughts, words and deeds and ask You to have Your way.

3 “Blessed are those who are spiritually needy. The kingdom of heaven belongs to them.

4 Blessed are those who are sad. They will be comforted.

5 Blessed are those who are humble. They will be given the earth.

6 Blessed are those who are hungry and thirsty for what is right. They will be filled.

7 Blessed are those who show mercy. They will be shown mercy.

8 Blessed are those whose hearts are pure. They will see God.

9 Blessed are those who make peace. They will be called children of God.

10 Blessed are those who suffer for doing what is right. The kingdom of heaven belongs to them.

11 “Blessed are you when people make fun of you and hurt you because of me. You are also blessed when they tell all kinds of evil lies about you because of me.

12 Be joyful and glad. Your reward in heaven is great. In the same way, people hurt the prophets who lived long ago.

Matthew 5:3- (NIRV)

5 Let the peoples praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You

6 The earth has yielded its harvest [as evidence of His approval]; God, our God, blesses us.
