My Father and my God, I come before You with thanksgiving in my heart and give You all the glory, honour and praise. You say in Your Word to ask for anything, with belief that I will receive, and it will be mine. Therefore, I ask you for forgiveness of sins of thoughts, words and deeds and know that it shall be done. Thank You.
Today, I think of the strength and size of Your love for us all. It is immeasurable! You have called for mankind to love each other, just as You have loved us. You sent Your Son to die for us, as a sacrifice, just to call all men to You; such love do You have that that would be done. It is unfathomable. The suffering endured for us, shows exactly the immensity of the love that is had. As we go about our day, may we able to forget ourselves and offer up a sacrifice of praise, no matter our life situations. Ignite our spirits within, so we can give love; receive love; show love and be love. It is finished and has already been done! Help us to understand that love today.
34 I give you a new commandment: that you should love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you too should love one another.
35 By this shall all [men] know that you are My disciples, if you love one another [if you keep on showing love among yourselves].John 13:34-35 (AMPC)
15 But speaking the truth in love [in all things—both our speech and our lives expressing His truth], let us grow up in all things into Him [following His example] who is the Head—Christ.
16 From Him the whole body [the church, in all its various parts], joined and knitted firmly together by what every joint supplies, when each part is working properly, causes the body to grow and mature, building itself up in [unselfish] love.
The Christian’s Walk
17 So this I say, and solemnly affirm together with the Lord [as in His presence], that you must no longer live as the [unbelieving] Gentiles live, in the futility of their minds [and in the foolishness and emptiness of their souls],Ephesians 4:15-17 (AMP)
We love Him, because He first loved us.1 John 4:19 (AMPC)
20 Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),
21 Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages).
Amen (so be it)Hebrews 13:20-21 (AMPC)
