1 O come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation!
2 Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to Him with songs of praise!
3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
4 In His hand are the deep places of the earth; the heights and strength of the hills are His also.
5 The sea is His, for He made it; and His hands formed the dry land.
6 O come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker [in reverent praise and supplication].
7 For He is our God and we are the people of His pasture and the sheep of His hand. Today, if you will hear His voice,
8 Harden not your hearts as at Meribah and as at Massah in the day of temptation in the wilderness,
9 When your fathers tried My patience and tested Me, proved Me, and saw My work [of judgment].
10 Forty years long was I grieved and disgusted with that generation, and I said, It is a people that do err in their hearts, and they do not approve, acknowledge, or regard My ways.
Elohim hayyim, the Living God. El Emunah, the Faithful God. El Elyon, the God Most High. Adonai, my Lord and my Master. The One Who fattened the sky and land; Who separated the land with water and the water with land; Who spoke things into existence; Who threw the stars into space; Who made Heaven and Earth; Who made Adam and Eve; and Who has made everything that has ever existed. My Lord and my God, I spiritually lift You high and glorify You. I give You my heart, mind, soul and spirit and worship You.
Today, I take this moment to thank You that what is said to Your people in Your Word, both in the Old and New Testament, is relevant to all Your children. You guided Your people from the clutches of hate, evil, destitution and destruction then, and You do the same thousands of years later. I thank You that I am able to read, digest and consume those things, realising and being thankful for the covering I have from the Blood of Your Son Jesus Christ; from whom I have received a high calling. Help me to realise what my high calling is, be it great or small. You say in Your Word that within Your House there are many rooms and a place has been prepared for me. By Your grace, I will be ready. Help me to assist many to obtain the same, or realise what they have. Strengthen me, as the road I walk may be a lonely one, with no one on the left or right, but help me to stay focused. I trust in You.
And many people shall come and say, Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, that He may teach us His ways and that we may walk in His paths. For out of Zion shall go forth the law and instruction, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
Isaiah 2:3 (AMPC)
Then said Hezekiah to Isaiah, “The word of the Lord which you have spoken is good.” For he thought, “There will be peace and faithfulness [to God’s promises to us] in my days.”
Isaiah 39:8 (AMP)
3A voice of one is calling out, “Clear the way for the Lord in the wilderness [remove the obstacles]; Make straight and smooth in the desert a highway for our God.
4 “Every valley shall be raised, And every mountain and hill be made low; And let the rough ground become a plain, And the rugged places a broad valley.
Isaiah 40:2-4 (AMP)
Just look at your own calling, believers; not many [of you were considered] wise according to human standards, not many powerful or influential, not many of high and noble birth.
1 Corinthians 1:26 (AMP)
Jesus Our High Priest
Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, [thoughtfully and attentively] consider the Apostle and High Priest whom we confessed [as ours when we accepted Him as Savior], namely, Jesus;
Hebrews 3:1 (AMP)
So then, brethren, consecrated and set apart for God, who share in the heavenly calling, [thoughtfully and attentively] consider Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest Whom we confessed [as ours when we embraced the Christian faith].
Hebrews 3:1 (AMPC)
20 Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),
21 Strengthen (complete, perfect)and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages).
El Elyon. The Most High God. The chorus says 🎵When I think of the goodness of Jesus, and what He has done for me, my soul cries out HalleluYah! Thank God for saving me!🎵 HalleluYah! HalleluYah! HalleluYah! I just have to give You all the glory; all the honour; and all the praise. So unworthy am I Lord but, You sent Your Son to be punished; His skin torn for me; the chastisement of my sins were upon Him, but I thank You, He did it all for me! Thank You Lord, for saving me! Therefore, I come before You giving adoration, glory, honour and praise. Not many, or all, want to do it, but I am here, Lord. I come before You in acceptance of what has been done and willing to lay my life before You and respond. Have. Your. Way.
Today, my prayer is that I will know You and the full power of Your resurrection. As I turn to the left and the right, so much may be around in my physical and spiritual space, to interrupt my peace, but I know You, the God I serve. Throughout the storm may I realise You in the midst. You have shown us what You have done for Your children throughout Your Word, place in me physically and spiritually that it shall be so for me. As I read Your Word may I understand it and You in another way. Help me not to lean on my own understanding. Help me to keep my focus on High. Help me to be led by Your Holy Spirit, because it shows that I am Your child. Help me to never fear. Help me to always remember that You will never leave nor forsake me. Help me to remember that I am Your child and, just as an earthly father loves his child and would do so much, You are capable and willing to do so much more. My life is in Your hands. So, today, remove the scales from my eyes and place in my spirit what I need to feel, hear, see and know about You, because You alone are my Lord and my God.
9 For in Him the whole fullness of Deity (the Godhead) continues to dwell in bodily form [giving complete expression of the divine nature].
10 And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead—Father, Son and Holy Spirit—and reach full spiritual stature]. And He is the Head of all rule and authority [of every angelic principality and power].
11 In Him also you were circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, but in a [spiritual] circumcision [performed by] Christ by stripping off the body of the flesh (the whole corrupt, carnal nature with its passions and lusts).
Colossians 2:9-11 9AMPC)
I am calling up memories of your sincere and unqualified faith (the leaning of your entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness), [a faith] that first lived permanently in [the heart of] your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am [fully] persuaded, [dwells] in you also.
2 Timothy 1:5 (AMPC)
20 Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),
21 Strengthen (complete, perfect)and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages).
You shall also decide and decree a thing, and it shall be established for you; and the light [of God’s favor] shall shine upon your ways. Job 22:28 (AMPC)
My Lord and my God, I come before You this morning and give You all the glory honour, praise and thanks. I place You before my day and week, asking for Your continual guidance and protection. I ask for forgiveness of my sins, whether they be of thought, word or deed, and acknowledge You as my Deliverer, Healer, Lifter, Restorer and so much more. I know that I can ask these things and receive them, because Your Word confirms it. My God, You are Great.
Today, I decree and declare that I will be accepted into the Kingdom of Heaven, as my goal will be to humble myself, as You have requested. I will remove all existing blockages preventing the manifestation of my pending miracle. I will not depress, distress, judge, oppress, pull down or carry out, think or speak anything else negative against any person within my spiritual, blood family or potential inhabitants of Your Kingdom. As I try to do this, I know I will be successful. I stand on Your Word and trust in You.
Blessed (happy, to be envied, and spiritually prosperous—with life-joy and satisfaction in God’s favor and salvation, regardless of their outward conditions) are the poor in spirit (the humble, who rate themselves insignificant), for theirs is the kingdom of heaven!
Matthew 5:3 (AMPC)
Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls.
Matthew 11:29 (AMPC)
So get rid of all uncleanness and the rampant outgrowth of wickedness, and in a humble (gentle, modest) spirit receive and welcome the Word which implanted and rooted [in your hearts] contains the power to save your souls.
James 1:21 (AMPC)
So then, brethren, consecrated and set apart for God, who share in the heavenly calling, [thoughtfully and attentively] consider Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest Whom we confessed [as ours when we embraced the Christian faith].
Hebrews 3:1 (AMPC)
Therefore humble yourselves [demote, lower yourselves in your own estimation] under the mighty hand of God, that in due time He may exalt you,
1 Peter 5:6 (AMPC)
20 Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),
21 Strengthen (complete, perfect)and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages).
Heavenly Father, I come before You giving You all the glory, honour, praise and thanksgiving, from my heart and my soul. Your Word says that when the praises go up, the blessings come down. Therefore, I lift up my heart and praise You this morning, expecting the unexpected. Beforehand, I ask You for forgiveness of sins of my thoughts, words and deeds and ask You to have Your way.
3 “Blessed are those who are spiritually needy. The kingdom of heaven belongs to them.
4 Blessed are those who are sad. They will be comforted.
5 Blessed are those who are humble. They will be given the earth.
6 Blessed are those who are hungry and thirsty for what is right. They will be filled.
7 Blessed are those who show mercy. They will be shown mercy.
8 Blessed are those whose hearts are pure. They will see God.
9 Blessed are those who make peace. They will be called children of God.
10 Blessed are those who suffer for doing what is right. The kingdom of heaven belongs to them.
11 “Blessed are you when people make fun of you and hurt you because of me. You are also blessed when they tell all kinds of evil lies about you because of me.
12 Be joyful and glad. Your reward in heaven is great. In the same way, people hurt the prophets who lived long ago.
Matthew 5:3- (NIRV)
5 Let the peoples praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You
6 The earth has yielded its harvest [as evidence of His approval]; God, our God, blesses us.
7 God blesses us, And all the ends of the earth shall fear Him [with awe-inspired reverence and submissive wonder].
Psalm 67:5-6 (AMPC)
20 Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),
21 Strengthen (complete, perfect)and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages).
Almighty God, I come before You, once again, requesting that You prepare me for the day ahead. I pray that You forgive me of all sins, whether they be of thought, word or deed and I thank You for bringing me to the end of the 10th week in 2021. There are 42 left to go! I don’t know what this year has to offer, but I place it all in Your hands. I trust in You.
Today, my request is that it will resonate in my spirit how powerful Your Word is and in turn be brought closer to You. I thank You for the Holy Bible and Your promises held within its pages. It tells me things which fill me with both fear and joy. However(!), I have a hope in glory! I pray that I will go from glory to glory. Even though there is so much going on in the world, I’m reminded of Your plans, which are not to harm but to prosper me and to give me hope, a future and an expected end. I place the futures of myself; blood family; spiritual family; and those who do not yet know You as their God, before You. May I be led into conversations, by Your Holy Spirit, so others will realise how much You love them and the plan You have for me is also for them. All they have to do is hear, accept and believe. Help me to also pass on the knowledge of You and Your power with boldness, strength and courage.
17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.
Matthew 5:17-18 (AMPC)
In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.
John 1:1 (AMP)
And when they had prayed, the place where they were meeting together was shaken [a sign of God’s presence]; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness and courage.
Acts 4:31 (AMP)
12 For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.
Hebrews 4:12 (AMPC)
20 Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),
21 Strengthen (complete, perfect)and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages).
My Father, My God. I lift my eyes, mind, heart, spirit and my all towards You, and give You all the adoration, glory, honour, praise and thanks. I give You thanks for what You have done, what You are doing and what You intend to do. I give thanks that You are the same God today, as You were yesterday and ever will be. Heaven and Earth may pass away but You and Your Word will always remain. You are eternal.
Today, I thank You that it’s not all about what I did, didn’t do, said or didn’t say; yesterday or last week. It’s all about today and it’s all about You. I place it all before You and ask You to have Your way. As I think about Who You are, may I realise just how thankful I should be. I thank You for the Blood of Your Son, Jesus Christ, and the fact that without Him, I would not be able to commune with You. The Book of Hebrews, chapter 12, reminds me I am not beyond correction; I am Your child and I am covered by Your grace. I acknowledge that I can go boldly and fearlessly to Your throne of grace, which provides favour (amongst other things), that I am not worthy of but yet, I still receive.
Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrews 12:2 (AMPC)
6 For the Lord corrects and disciplines everyone whom He loves, and He punishes, even scourges, every son whom He accepts and welcomes to His heart and cherishes.
7 You must submit to and endure [correction] for discipline; God is dealing with you as with sons. For what son is there whom his father does not [thus] train and correct and discipline?
8 Now if you are exempt from correction and left without discipline in which all [of God’s children] share, then you are illegitimate offspring and not true sons [at all].
9 Moreover, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us and we yielded [to them]and respected [them for training us]. Shall we not much more cheerfully submit to the Father of spirits and so [truly] live?
10 For [our earthly fathers] disciplined us for only a short period of time and chastised us as seemed proper and good to them; but He disciplines us for our certain good, that we may become sharers in His own holiness.
11 For the time being no discipline brings joy, but seems grievous and painful; but afterwards it yields a peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it [a harvest of fruit which consists in righteousness—in conformity to God’s will in purpose, thought, and action, resulting in right living and right standing with God].
Hebrews 12:6-11 (AMPC)
Today, I decree and declare that this week my Most High God will, walk in and with me, as He did with the Children of Israel, because I believe in His Son Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMashiach and I am washed in His Blood. Yoke bars have been broken and I can walk free.
Leviticus 12
Today, I decree and declare that this week I will, walk in all the ways the Lord has commanded and because of that, it will be well with me. I will experience life in abundance (be fruitful in every task undertaken); be blessed; and possess land (be established and become grounded).
Deuteronomy 5
Today, I decree and declare that this week the Lord will, continue to be my Shepherd in every conversation and place I step. He will guard me in all my ways, watching my going out and coming in; I shall not lack any good thing; my head will be anointed with oil, so I have full protection; and I will be continually followed by goodness and mercy.
Psalm 23
Today, I decree and declare that this week I will, walk under the shadow of my Almighty God; no evil will come near me; I will see harm come to others from a distance; He is my Refuge; He will show me His salvation, so I will fully trust.
Psalm 91
Today, I decree and declare that this week I will, have life and have it in abundance. I will realise the power that I have and grip the keys of authority. Your Word statesthat whatever I bind on earth will be bound in Heaven. Whatever I loose on earth, will be loosed in Heaven. I will walk with authority.
Matthew 16
Today, I decree and declare that this week I will, habitually walk in love and in the imitation of Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMaschiach.
Abba Father, I come before You giving all glory, honour and praise. As always I offer myself to You and ask to be forgiven of all sins of word, thought or deed; seen or unseen. I thank You for what You have done, are doing and intend to do. Strengthen me for whatever this day has to offer and I, again, give thanks for Your attribute of being an Ever-Present God: You’ll neither leave nor forsake me.
Today, I come before You with my eyes and heart fixed on You. I come before You with a sacrifice of praise. I will praise You with my whole being; spiritually, mentally and physically. There is so much to be thankful for, so I have no alternative but to offer myself up. As I do so, I recognise the times I may refrain from praising You adequately; and those are the occasions when I need to push through even more. However, I recognise those times in the past and I am realistic in knowing there will be times like that in the future. Therefore, I shall lift up my hands and glorify You, because of who You are and knowing You will never change. My circumstances, mind, mood, and so much more, can change, but You never will. No matter what life has to throw at me, You are there to soften the blow or catch me as I fall. Your Word tells me to be anxious for nothing. Therefore, if You have said it I will believe it. No matter what is going on, because of Your power, might and love for me, I need not fear. My hope must not be based on anything less than Your Son Jesus Christ, and His Righteousness. Help me to continually praise You in spirit and in truth.
And now shall my head be lifted up above my enemies round about me; in His tent I will offer sacrifices and shouting of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.
Psalm 27:5 (KJV)
With a freewill offering I will sacrifice to You; I will give thanks and praise Your name, O Lord, for it is good.
Psalm 54:6 (KJV)
[There shall be heard again] the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voices of those who sing as they bring sacrifices of thanksgiving into the house of the Lord, Give praise and thanks to the Lord of hosts, for the Lord is good; for His mercy and kindness and steadfast love endure forever! For I will cause the captivity of the land to be reversed and return to be as it was at first, says the Lord.
Jeremiah 33:11 (AMPC)
Through Him, therefore, let us constantly and at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name.
Hebrews 13:15 (KJV)
Meditate on These Things
8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy —meditate on these things.
9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.
Philippians 4:8-9 (NKJV)
To You who is able to keep me from falling and to present me before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy – to You who is the only God, my Saviour, be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Yeshua The Anointed One, my Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen. Jude 1:24-25
