Friday Morning Prayer (Wk35/2021)

Almighty Father, I approach Your Throne of Grace, one more time and I give You thanks, praise, glory and honour. I worship You this morning for what You’ve done, what You’re doing and what You intend to do. I place this day before You and ask that You use it and me for Your glory.

Today, I stand. When there is mayhem around me; I stand. When there is no money to pay bills; I stand. When there are rumours about losing employment; I stand. When there is pain running through my body; I stand. When there is fear because of the external environment, the pandemic, war, hatred in the world; I stand. When it seems as though all hope is gone; my Lord, I stand. For You are my peace. Your Word tells me, when I am weary You give me strength and where I lack energy You increase my power. The battles I face are not mine they are Yours. Therefore, I stand boldly, as You are my protection; You are my strength; You are my shield; You are my right hand; and there is no thing or no one that I will fear. I will stand. My Father and my God, I trust in You.

You need not fight in this battle; take your positions, stand and witness the salvation of the Lord who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.’”

Let your character [your moral essence, your inner nature] be free from the love of money [shun greed—be financially ethical], being content with what you have; for He has said, “I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you [assuredly not]!”

Hebrews 13:5 (AMP)

20 Now may the Elohim of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Yeshua, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),

21 Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Yeshua HaMashiach (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages).

Amen (So be it)

Friday Morning Scripture (Wk35/2021) – Psalm 143

Prayer for Help and Guidance.

A Psalm of David.

1 Hear my prayer, O Lord, listen to my supplications! Answer me in Your faithfulness, and in Your righteousness.

2 And do not enter into judgment with Your servant, for in Your sight no man living is righteous or justified.

3 For the enemy has persecuted me, He has crushed my life down to the ground; He has made me dwell in dark places, like those who have been long dead.

4 Therefore my spirit is overwhelmed and weak within me [wrapped in darkness]; My heart grows numb within me.

5 I remember the days of old; I meditate on all that You have done; I ponder the work of Your hands.

6 I reach out my hands to You; My throat thirsts for You, as a parched land [thirsts for water]. Selah.

7 Answer me quickly, O Lord, my spirit fails; Do not hide Your face from me, Or I will become like those who go down into the pit (grave).

8 Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, For I trust in You. Teach me the way in which I should walk, For I lift up my soul to You.

9 Rescue me, O Lord, from my enemies; I take refuge in You.

10 Teach me to do Your will [so that I may please You], For You are my God; Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.

11 Save my life, O Lord, for Your name’s sake; In Your righteousness bring my life out of trouble.

12 In your lovingkindness, silence and destroy my enemies and destroy all those who afflict my life, for I am Your servant.

Psalm 143

Verses of the Day – Matthew 17:19-21 (AMP)

19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and asked, “Why could we not drive it out?”

20 He answered, “Because of your little faith [your lack of trust and confidence in the power of God]; for I assure you and most solemnly say to you, if you have [living] faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and [if it is God’s will] it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

21 [But this kind of demon does not go out except by prayer and fasting.]

Matthew 17:19-21 (AMP)

Thursday Morning Prayer – (Wk35/2021) – Guide Me O Thou Great Redeemer

Guide me, O thou great Redeemer,
Pilgrim through this barren land;
I am weak, but thou art mighty;
Hold me with thy powerful hand:
Bread of heaven, bread of heaven
Feed me till I want no more.
Feed me till I want no more.

Open thou the crystal fountain
Whence the healing stream shall flow;
Let the fiery, cloudy pillar
Lead me all my journey through:
Strong deliverer, strong deliverer
Be thou still my strength and shield.
Be thou still my strength and shield.

When I tread the verge of Jordan,
Bid my anxious fears subside;
Death of death, and hell’s destruction,
Land me safe on Canaan’s side:
Songs of praises, songs of praises
I will ever give to thee.
I will ever give to thee.

Thursday Morning Scripture (Wk35/2021) – Psalm 119:41-48

Vav

41 May Your lovingkindness also come to me, O Lord, Your salvation according to Your promise;

42 So I will have an answer for the one who taunts me, for I trust [completely] in Your word [and its reliability].

43 And do not take the word of truth utterly out of my mouth, for I wait for Your ordinances.

44 I will keep Your law continually, forever and ever [writing Your precepts on my heart].

45 And I will walk at liberty, for I seek and deeply long for Your precepts.

46 I will also speak of Your testimonies before kings and shall not be ashamed.

47 For I shall delight in Your commandments, which I love.

48 And I shall lift up my hands to Your commandments, which I love; and I will meditate on Your statutes.
