Saturday Morning Prayer (Wk34/2021)

My Father and my God, I awake this morning giving You all glory, honour, thanks and praise. I ask for forgiveness of anything within my thought, words or deeds that is displeasing to You and know it will be received.

Today, I ask that I be made available to You. I place my heart, mind, spirit and life in Your hands and ask that I am used mightily. I pray that not my will but Yours be done. May I be under the jurisdiction of Your Holy Spirit as I converse and be a shining example in this dark world. I realise that I am not my own but belong to Your Son Yeshua HaMashiach, Who came; performed miracles to prove Who He was and what He could do; by Whose painful stripes received, I have been healed; Who was nailed to the cross; at death was placed in a cold, dark tomb; and then, on the third day resurrected, so that I may have life and have it more abundantly. Such love. At my moments of feeling despair, may I remember this love. At times of feeling destitute, may I remember that I have been loved so greatly from the start and there is no other that could surpass that. May I understand the true power of my relationship first with You and those on the earth, so I am able to relay that love to others. Every day we are able to see how short time is, help us to use it wisely; not just for ourselves but for Your Kingdom. You have given us life, that we may have it more abundantly, within You. Touch my heart. Touch my mind. Touch my spirit. May I be forever connected to You. My Father and my God, I trust in You.

For it was fitting for God [that is, an act worthy of His divine nature] that He, for whose sake are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the author and founder of their salvation perfect through suffering [bringing to maturity the human experience necessary for Him to be perfectly equipped for His office as High Priest].

Hebrews 2:10 (AMP)

For we all stumble and sin in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says [never saying the wrong thing], he is a perfect man [fully developed in character, without serious flaws], able to bridle his whole body and rein in his entire nature [taming his human faults and weaknesses].

James 3:2 (AMP)

Christ Is Our Example

21 For [as a believer] you have been called for this purpose, since Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you may follow in His footsteps.

1 Peter 2:21 (AMP)

For you were continually wandering like [so many] sheep, but now you have come back to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.

1 Peter 2:24 (AMP)

20 Now may the Elohim of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Yeshua, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),

21 Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Yeshua HaMashiach (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages).

Amen (So be it)

Hebrews 13:21-21 (AMPC)

Friday Morning Prayer (Wk34/2021)

My Father and my God, I awake this morning giving You all glory, honour, thanks and praise. I thank You for this day; and I thank You for the shining sun, which reminds me of how beautiful the world is and can be.

Today, I ask that You abide in me. I seek Your face and ask that You are within every situation and person that crosses my path. Help me as I shut out the noise of the world, so I may clearly hear Your voice. I pray that I will be able to place the desolation, disease, fear, pain, war and everything else about this world, before You, and ask that Your Will be done. It is only when I am able to connect with You that I am able to pray effectively. Your Word says that the thief; adversary; Satan; Son of Perdition; deceiver, comes only to steal, kill and destroy, so today I cover myself, and all those who remain in prayer, in The Blood of Your Son Yeshua HaMashiach. It is through this Precious Blood that I find power and protection, so all prayers will be answered. You have said that You hear and answer prayer, so I place the large problems of this world before You and the small ones; I place the large victories before You and those that are small, as they are all held in Your hands and matter. My Father and my God, I have full trust in You. It is well.

God the Refuge of His People.

1 God is our refuge and strength [mighty and impenetrable], a very present and well-proved help in trouble.

2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains be shaken and slip into the heart of the seas,

Psalm 46:1-2 (AMP)

The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].

John 10:10 (AMP)

Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]

John 14:27 (AMP)

We have come to know [by personal observation and experience], and have believed [with deep, consistent faith] the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides continually in him.

John 15:4 (AMP)

Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].

James 5:16 (AMP)

Hebrews 13:20-21 (AMPC)

Friday Morning Scripture (Wk34/2021) – 1 Peter 2:21-25

Christ Is Our Example

21 For [as a believer] you have been called for this purpose, since Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you may follow in His footsteps.

22 He committed no sin, nor was deceit ever found in His mouth. 23 While being reviled and insulted, He did not revile or insult in return; while suffering, He made no threats [of vengeance], but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges fairly.

24 He personally carried our sins in His body on the cross [willingly offering Himself on it, as on an altar of sacrifice], so that we might die to sin [becoming immune from the penalty and power of sin] and live for righteousness; for by His wounds you [who believe] have been healed.

25 For you were continually wandering like [so many] sheep, but now you have come back to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.

1 Peter 2:21-25 (AMP)

Thursday Morning Scripture (Wk34/2021) – 1 Peter 2:13-20

Honor Authority

13 Submit yourselves to [the authority of] every human institution for the sake of the Lord [to honor His name], whether it is to a king as one in a position of power,

14 or to governors as sent by him to bring punishment to those who do wrong, and to praise and encourage those who do right.

15 For it is the will of God that by doing right you may silence (muzzle, gag) the [culpable] ignorance and irresponsible criticisms of foolish people.

16 Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover or pretext for evil, but [use it and live] as bond-servants of God.

17 Show respect for all people [treat them honorably], love the brotherhood [of believers], fear God, honor the king.

18 Servants, be submissive to your masters with all [proper] respect, not only to those who are good and kind, but also to those who are unreasonable.

19 For this finds favor, if a person endures the sorrow of suffering unjustly because of an awareness of [the will of] God.

20 After all, what kind of credit is there if, when you do wrong and are punished for it, you endure it patiently? But if when you do what is right and patiently bear [undeserved] suffering, this finds favor with God.

Lord I need to feel the touch of Your hand
Your will for my life I want to understand
Lord forgive me like only You can
For your the God of a second chance
Lord I’m tired of the way that I am
In Your love I want to live and stand
To adhere to Your every command
For You’re the God of a second chance
For You’re the God of a second chance

Show me
All of my wrongs
Forgive me
And make strong
Oh Save me
Restore my song
For You’re the God of a second chance

Show me
All of my wrongs
Forgive me
And make strong
Oh Save me
Restore my song
For You’re the God of a second chance You gave me
A second chance
You forgave me like only You can

You gave me
A second chance You gave me
A second chance
You forgave me like only You can
You gave me
A second chance

Wednesday Morning Prayer (Wk34/2021)

El Elyon, God Most High, I start this day giving You thanks, honour, glory and praise. I ask You for the forgiveness of all my sins of thoughts, words and deeds. I step into this day fresh; brand new; exhilarated; and ready to do Your Will.

Today, I acknowledge You as The Living God and Word by which I stand. I thank You for the life You have given me, without it being offered and without Your calling I would be dead; physically and spiritually. I give You glory, honour and praise because You are worthy of it and so much more. Teach me to live the life worthy of the calling I have received; not just as a Sunday occurrence but one for every day of the week. This morning I offer up my mind, heart and spirit to You, as I carry out each task that requires my thoughts, words and deeds, realising where my help comes from. I thank You that everything before me this day, has been approved by You first; it is seasoned with Your glory. I have decided to live a life, which I hope will be pleasing to You. All I do is by Your strength; without You I am nothing, my existence is of no value. Help me to be reassured of my appearing with You in glory. My Father and my God, I trust in You. It is well.

Put On the New Self

1 Therefore if you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, sharing in His resurrection from the dead], keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

2 Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value].

3 For you died [to this world], and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God.

4 When Christ, who is our life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.

Colossians 3:1-4 (AMP)

Hebrews 13:20-21 (AMPC)

Wednesday Morning Scripture (Wk34/2021) – 1 Peter 2:4-12

As Living Stones

4 Come to Him [the risen Lord] as to a living Stone which men rejected and threw away, but which is choice and precious in the sight of God.

5 You [believers], like living stones, are being built up into a spiritual house for a holy and dedicated priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices [that are] acceptable and pleasing to God through Jesus Christ.

6 For this is contained in Scripture:

“Behold, I am laying in Zion a chosen stone, a precious (honored) Cornerstone,

And he who believes in Him [whoever adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him] will never be disappointed [in his expectations].”

7 This precious value, then, is for you who believe [in Him as God’s only Son—the Source of salvation]; but for those who disbelieve,

“The [very] stone which the builders rejected has become the chief Cornerstone,”

8 and,

“A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense”;

for they stumble because they disobey the word [of God], and to this they [who reject Him as Savior] were also appointed.

9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a consecrated nation, a [special] people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies [the wonderful deeds and virtues and perfections] of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

10 Once you were not a people [at all], but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

11 Beloved, I urge you as aliens and strangers [in this world] to abstain from the sensual urges [those dishonorable desires] that wage war against the soul.

12 Keep your behavior excellent among the [unsaved] Gentiles [conduct yourself honorably, with graciousness and integrity], so that for whatever reason they may slander you as evildoers, yet by observing your good deeds they may [instead come to] glorify God in the day of visitation [when He looks upon them with mercy].

1 Peter 2:4-12 (AMP)

Tuesday Morning Scripture (Wk34/2021) – 1 Peter 2:1-3

As Newborn Babes

1 So put aside every trace of malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander and hateful speech;

2 like newborn babies [you should] long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may be nurtured and grow in respect to salvation [its ultimate fulfillment],

3 if in fact you have [already] tasted the goodness and gracious kindness of the Lord.

1 Peter 2:1-3 (AMP)

Friday Morning Prayer (WK33/2021)

Adonai, my Master, I thank You for carrying me through to the end of this week. I place my life within Your hands and give You all glory and praise. I honour You.

Today, I focus on Your peace and the fact that when I look to You, all is well. There will be war and rumours of war but, Your Word says it is well. The heart of man is desperately wicked but, it is well. Without knowing, I face death every day but, yet still, it is well. You are the Author and Giver of Peace. I cover my personal path and that of my blood family; my spiritual family; my friends; my colleagues; my neighbours; the workers in the local stores; and companies, in the precious Blood of Your Son Yeshua HaMashiach, whether it be mentally, physically or spiritually. The Blood which symbolises life, anointing, authority, deliverance, freedom, protection, strength and perfect peace. All we need is in The Blood, that was shed on Calvary’s Cross, just for me. Without it we are lost and dead. Because of my belief, for I have seen the whole picture from afar (unlike your disciples), I have the victory. My joy will be full and complete, as I ask these things, for it is said in Your Word that if I ask in Your name, it will be given to me. HalleluYah! My Father and my God, whatever the circumstance today, I trust in You.

“Be careful to listen to all these words which I am commanding you, so that it may be well with you and with your children after you forever, because you will be doing what is good and right in the sight of the Lord your God.

Deuteronomy 12:28 (AMP)

The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in [everything that you do] from this time forth and forever.

Psalm 121:8 (AMP)

I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]

John 16:33 (AMP)

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].

2 Timothy 1:7 (AMP)
