My Father and my God, I awake this morning giving You all glory, honour, thanks and praise. I ask for forgiveness of anything within my thought, words or deeds that is displeasing to You and know it will be received.
Today, I ask that I be made available to You. I place my heart, mind, spirit and life in Your hands and ask that I am used mightily. I pray that not my will but Yours be done. May I be under the jurisdiction of Your Holy Spirit as I converse and be a shining example in this dark world. I realise that I am not my own but belong to Your Son Yeshua HaMashiach, Who came; performed miracles to prove Who He was and what He could do; by Whose painful stripes received, I have been healed; Who was nailed to the cross; at death was placed in a cold, dark tomb; and then, on the third day resurrected, so that I may have life and have it more abundantly. Such love. At my moments of feeling despair, may I remember this love. At times of feeling destitute, may I remember that I have been loved so greatly from the start and there is no other that could surpass that. May I understand the true power of my relationship first with You and those on the earth, so I am able to relay that love to others. Every day we are able to see how short time is, help us to use it wisely; not just for ourselves but for Your Kingdom. You have given us life, that we may have it more abundantly, within You. Touch my heart. Touch my mind. Touch my spirit. May I be forever connected to You. My Father and my God, I trust in You.
For it was fitting for God [that is, an act worthy of His divine nature] that He, for whose sake are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the author and founder of their salvation perfect through suffering [bringing to maturity the human experience necessary for Him to be perfectly equipped for His office as High Priest].Hebrews 2:10 (AMP)
For we all stumble and sin in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says [never saying the wrong thing], he is a perfect man [fully developed in character, without serious flaws], able to bridle his whole body and rein in his entire nature [taming his human faults and weaknesses].James 3:2 (AMP)
Christ Is Our Example
21 For [as a believer] you have been called for this purpose, since Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you may follow in His footsteps.1 Peter 2:21 (AMP)
For you were continually wandering like [so many] sheep, but now you have come back to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.1 Peter 2:24 (AMP)
20 Now may the Elohim of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Yeshua, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),
21 Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Yeshua HaMashiach (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages).
Amen (So be it)Hebrews 13:21-21 (AMPC)
