Wednesday Morning Scripture (Wk39/2021) – Psalm 119:17-24 (AMP)

Meditations and Prayers Relating to the Law of God.

ג Gimel.

17 Deal bountifully with Your servant, that I may live and keep Your word [treasuring it and being guided by it day by day].

18 Open my eyes [to spiritual truth] so that I may behold wonderful things from Your law.

19 I am a stranger on the earth; Do not hide Your commandments from me.

20 My soul is crushed with longing for Your ordinances at all times.

21 You rebuke the presumptuous and arrogant, the cursed ones, who wander from Your commandments.

22 Take reproach and contempt away from me, for I observe Your testimonies.

23 Even though princes sit and talk to one another against me, your servant meditates on Your statutes.

24 Your testimonies also are my delight and my counselors.

Psalm 119:17-24 (AMP)

Tuesday Morning Prayer (Wk39/2021)

Abba! Father! God of power, might, strength and love, I give You all glory, honour and praise for this day, which has been placed before me. It is Your will that I have been given another 24 hours and I am able to do Your good pleasure; and for that I give You thanks. Your Word tells me that repentance is the pre-requisite to salvation. Therefore, I ask You to cleanse me of all sin and unrighteousness, so I can go about this day boldly and unhindered, as the songwriter says there is no satisfaction without salvation! Lord, have Your way.

Today, I stand in Your presence, letting any barriers I have down, and then locking in Your Holy Spirit which is a barrier to protect me from the manoeuvres of the enemy. I let down the barriers within me, which are to do with doubts, fears, negativity and anything Godless. These only cause me to forget Your power, might, goodness, strength, peace and love. Such love! If I know not love, it is hard to comprehend the love You have for me. I pray that today, You will enter in and let me truly know of that love, so I may fully comprehend, know and feel what has been done for me. It is only then I can be truly effective in my walk with You. It is only through Your peace that I can receive true fullness of joy. No matter what is occurring around me, if I walk in the gospel of peace, all will be well. I ask that You move within me today, so I may speak, think, move and exist within Your plans and not my own. My Father and my God, I trust in You.

‘Do you not fear Me?’ says the Lord. ‘Do you not tremble [in awe] in My presence? For I have placed the sand as a boundary for the sea, An eternal decree and a perpetual barrier beyond which it cannot pass. Though the waves [of the sea] toss and break, yet they cannot prevail [against the sand ordained to hold them back]; Though the waves and the billows roar, yet they cannot cross over [the barrier]. [Is not such a God to be feared?]

Jeremiah 5:22 (AMP)

“Even now,” says the Lord, “Turn and come to Me with all your heart [in genuine repentance], With fasting and weeping and mourning [until every barrier is removed and the broken fellowship is restored];

Joel 2:12 (AMP)

For He Himself is our peace and our bond of unity. He who made both groups[Jews and Gentiles]into one body and broke down the barrier, the dividing wall [of spiritual antagonism between us],

Ephesians 2:14 (AMP)

20 Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),

21 Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages).

Amen (So be it)

Hebrews 13:20-21 (AMP)

Repentance

With regards to a relationship with God/YHWH, when one repents you make a total 180 degree turn away from sin, wrongdoing and step towards God. It sounds hard but isn’t. We think it’s hard because naturally, as a human being, we may find it hard to accept an apology; depending on what the wrongdoing was and how it impacted us. However, no matter how minor or major our sins are, if we repent, our God Most High will forgive. His Word gives us the picture of our sins being as further from us than the East is from the West. Such love! It is our repentance to Him that really matters. This is not to say that if we do wrong to someone, bringing it to God is all that matters, because we need to think about the harm our non-apology to others affects them. When it comes to a heaven or hell issue, we are to repent to God.

It doesn’t end there. We repent of all in the passed and step out in newness of life. We have been forgiven of the passed but because we are human we will sin again. Therefore, after the initial repentance, and step towards salvation, we deal with sins which occur after that point. This is easier said than done, but do not give up. Let go and let God! Let Him strengthen You, so you will not venture down that road feeling, speaking, acting the way you did previously. Once you have done that you will be able to do a great and mighty work for Him, effectively, because there is much to do; good news to share, souls to reap, but the workers are few. You also need to seek what Your purpose is in this world. It is the way of the world think that if you speak of God that you are a Bible-basher, but that is only one facet of a believer ☺️ We are also a part of making this big-old-world, go round.

YHWH is a mighty God of forgiveness, all we need do is bring it to Him with an earnestness of heart and He will forgive. As He was in the beginning, so He will forever be; He changes not. We give thanks because He is the one true God and there is none like Him.

“They refused to listen and obey, and did not remember Your wondrous acts which You had performed among them; So they stiffened their necks and [in their rebellion] appointed a leader in order to return them to slavery in Egypt. But You are a God of forgiveness, gracious and merciful and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness; And You did not abandon them.

Nehemiah 9:17 (AMP)

Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life].

2 Corinthians 5:17 (AMP)

Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is [indeed] plentiful, but the workers are few.

Tuesday Morning Scripture (Wk39/2021) – Psalm 119:9-16 (AMP)

Meditations and Prayers Relating to the Law of God.

ב Beth.

9 How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping watch [on himself] according to Your word [conforming his life to Your precepts].

10 With all my heart I have sought You, [inquiring of You and longing for You]; Do not let me wander from Your commandments [neither through ignorance nor by willful disobedience].

11 Your word I have treasured and stored in my heart, that I may not sin against You.

12 Blessed and reverently praised are You, O Lord; Teach me Your statutes.

13 With my lips I have told of all the ordinances of Your mouth.

14 I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, as much as in all riches.

15 I will meditate on Your precepts and [thoughtfully] regard Your ways [the path of life established by Your precepts].

16 I will delight in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word.

Psalm 119:9-16 (AMP)

Monday Morning Prayer (Wk39/2021)

Almighty Father, I thank You for a brand new day. I thank You for Your mercies that are new every morning, which is why I’m still here. I lift You up, glorifying, honouring, praising and giving You thanks, just one more time, and ask that You remain with me throughout this day. Please forgive me of all sins, whether they be of thought, word or deed and allow me to step out refreshed, renewed, strengthened and ready to face what is placed before me.

Today, I place myself in Your hands. When I say myself I mean, my mind, my body, my spirit and my soul; everything about me. My thoughts, words and deeds are being placed in Your hands for You to have Your way. If there is any healing that is needed for any of these areas, I pray that it shall be so. Strengthen and adjust all, to what You have said, before I came into being. Constantly set my spirit outside the natural realm and remain in control: You know the plans You have for me, so everything will be coming to Your expected end. I sanctify myself, so I may be used for Your glory and purpose. I thank You that I am of Your chosen. Heavenly Father, I ask for Your peace to be upon me. My Father and my God, I trust in You.

Then Joshua said to the people, “Sanctify yourselves [for His purpose], for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders (miracles) among you.”

Joshua 3:5 (AMP)

For now I have chosen and sanctified and set apart for My purpose this house that My Name may be here forever, and My eyes and My heart will be here perpetually.

Mark 1:15 (AMP)
