Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Embers from Ashes

I know that you have felt My refining fire upon your life. You have known what it means to be called to holiness and to receive My Holy Spirit fire. Your submission to this process is pleasing to Me, and together we are removing the things that have been holding you back.
When the fire burns away, two things remain – ashes and embers. We are now entering a time where I am stoking the embers. This stoking dislodges/rearranges and leads to more flame. Lean into this process, dear one, for I am working deep within you.
Then, together, we will separate the ashes from the embers. The ash is dead and gone – these are the things that have no place in the future that I have planned for you. The embers are what is pleasing and pure within you, upon which My Spirit rests.
I am reminding you today – do not build upon the ashes, for they will disintegrate and fall away. Instead, build upon the embers; the parts that have been refined, purified and consecrated before Me. For when you build there, the fire will continue to burn – My Holy Spirit fire that acts as a beacon and a gateway to freedom for all who gather there.
Activation: Sit with Holy Spirit and ask Him to show you the ashes that God has burnt away. Take time to release those things, acknowledge any grief you feel around that, and ask the Spirit for peace. Now ask Him to show you the embers – what parts remain that have been purified ready for the next season? Be ready to receive strategy for how to build upon this with Holy Spirit for the new things that God has set apart for you.
For I will bend Judah as My bow,
I will fit the bow with Ephraim [as My arrow].
And I will stir up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece,
And will make you [Israel] like the sword of a warrior.Zechariah 13:9 (AMP)
26 His voice shook the earth [at Mount Sinai] then, but now He has given a promise, saying, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the [starry] heaven.”
27 Now this [expression], “Yet once more,” indicates the removal and final transformation of all those things which can be shaken—that is, of that which has been created—so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, and offer to God pleasing service and acceptable worship with reverence and awe;
29 for our God is [indeed] a consuming fire.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Boast in Me

I am Almighty God, Sovereign Lord.
This world belongs to Me.
I am the living hope for the nations, and I will have the last word.
My love, righteousness and justice will prevail.
In these days of shaking I am dismantling every type of structure that is not rightly built on Me.
In the natural realm when storms and floods come, everything that is not secured or on solid foundation is swept away. I am commanding My people to be the ones who model what it means to build wisely. Stay in My Word, spend time in My Presence and surrender every plan and purpose for your life to Me.
I ask you to examine your lives and repent of any confidence placed in man or the systems of this world which give the enemy free reign. Together, arise in the fullness of your authority and shut down those things that the church has tolerated for too long. Like houses built on the sand, the man-made structures and systems of this world must come down.
As fear and uncertainty take hold across the nations, boast in Me alone.
Activation: Ask the Lord if there is an area of your life where you are placing trust and confidence in anyone or anything rather than Him. Maybe family, finances, ministry, relationships, work or natural strengths. If the answer is yes, repent, break agreement and ask the Lord for a bible verse that declares the truth that God alone is provider or protector etc..
23 Thus says the Lord: Let not the wise and skillful person glory and boast in his wisdom and skill; let not the mighty and powerful person glory and boast in his strength and power; let not the person who is rich [in physical gratification and earthly wealth] glory and boast in his [temporal satisfactions and earthly] riches;
24 But let him who glories glory in this: that he understands and knows Me [personally and practically, directly discerning and recognizing My character], that I am the Lord, Who practices loving-kindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth, for in these things I delight, says the Lord.
Jeremiah 9:23-24 (AMPC)
The Two Foundations
24 “So everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, will be like a wise man [a far-sighted, practical, and sensible man] who built his house on the rock.
25 And the rain fell, and the floods and torrents came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.
26 And everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not do them, will be like a foolish (stupid) man who built his house on the sand.
27 And the rain fell, and the floods and torrents came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great and complete was its fall.”

Thursday Morning Scripture – Jeremiah 9

1 Oh, that my head were waters and my eyes a reservoir of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!
2 Oh, that I had in the wilderness a lodging place (a mere shelter) for wayfaring men, that I might leave my people and go away from them! For they are all adulterers [rendering worship to idols instead of to the Lord, Who has espoused the people to Himself]; they are a gang of treacherous men [faithless even to each other].
3 And they bend their tongue, [which is] their bow for the lies [they shoot]. And not according to faithfulness do they rule and become strong in the land; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they do not know and understand and acknowledge Me, says the Lord.
4 Let everyone beware of his neighbor and put no trust in any brother. For every brother is an utter and complete supplanter (one who takes by the heel and trips up, a deceiver, a Jacob), and every neighbor goes about as a slanderer.
5 And they deceive and mock every one his neighbor and do not speak the truth. They have taught their tongues to speak lies; they weary themselves committing iniquity.
6 Your habitation is in the midst of deceit [oppression upon oppression and deceit upon deceit]; through deceit they refuse to know and understand Me, says the Lord.
7 Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts: Behold, I will melt them [by the process of affliction to remove the dross] and test them, for how else should I deal with the daughter of My people?
8 Their tongue is a murderous arrow; it speaks deceitfully; one speaks peaceably to his neighbor with his mouth, but in his heart he lays snares and waits in ambush for him.
9 Shall I not punish them for these things? says the Lord. Shall I not avenge Myself on such a nation as this?
10 For the mountains I will take up a weeping and wailing and for the pastures of the wilderness a lament, because they are burned up and desolated, so that no one passes through [them]; neither can men hear [any longer] the lowing of cattle. Both the fowls of the air and the beasts have fled, they are gone!
11 I will make Jerusalem heaps [of ruins], a dwelling place of jackals; and I will make the cities of Judah a desolation, without inhabitant.
12 Who is the wise man who may understand this? To whom has the mouth of the Lord spoken, that he may declare it? Why is the land ruined and laid waste like a wilderness, so that no one passes through it?
13 And the Lord says, Because they have forsaken My law, which I set before them, and have not listened to and obeyed My voice or walked in accordance with it
14 But have walked stubbornly after their own hearts and after the Baals, as their fathers taught them,
15 Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood and give them bitter and poisonous water to drink.
16 I will scatter them also among nations that neither they nor their fathers have known, and I will send the sword among them and after them until I have consumed them.
17 Thus says the Lord of hosts: Consider and call for the mourning women to come; send for the skillful women to come.
18 Let them make haste and raise a wailing over us and for us, that our eyes may run down with tears and our eyelids gush with water.
19 For a sound of wailing is heard [coming] out of Zion: How we are plundered and ruined! We are greatly confounded and utterly put to shame, because we have forsaken the land, because they have cast down our dwellings [our dwellings that have cast us out].
20 Yet hear the word of the Lord, O you women, and let your ears receive the word of His mouth; teach your daughters a lament, and each one [teach] her neighbor a dirge.
21 For death has come up into our windows; it has entered into our palaces, cutting off the children from outdoors and the young men from the streets.
22 Speak, Thus says the Lord: The dead bodies of men shall fall like dung on the open field and like sheaves [of grain] behind the reaper, and none shall gather them.
23 Thus says the Lord: Let not the wise and skillful person glory and boast in his wisdom and skill; let not the mighty powerful person glory and boast in his strength and power; let not the person who is rich [in physical gratification and earthly wealth] glory and boast in his [temporal satisfactions and earthly] riches;
24 But let him who glories glory in this: that he understands and knows Me [personally and practically, directly discerning and recognizing My character], that I am the Lord, Who practices loving-kindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth, for in these things I delight, says the Lord.
25 Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will punish all who though circumcised [outwardly, in the flesh] are still uncircumcised [in corresponding inward purity]—
26 Egypt, Judah, Edom, the children of Ammon, Moab [all of whom are related except Egypt], and all who live in the desert and who clip off the corners of their hair and beards; for all these nations are uncircumcised [in heart], and all the house of Israel is uncircumcised in heart.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Heavenly Treasure

My child,
In this season, it’s crucial to regularly examine your heart, for where your heart is, there lies your treasure—those things you prioritise and are willing to sacrifice for.
Consider where you invest your time, energy, focus and money.
What treasures are you genuinely seeking?
Are you chasing likes on social media, a platform for recognition, earthly pleasures and material wealth? Or are you pursuing the eternal rewards I have promised to those who overcome?
These are challenging times and so you must remain vigilant; your enemy is after your heart. His tactics can be subtle and easily overlooked, often disguised as something they are not. Allow Me to examine your motives, and avoid the temptation of earthly treasures.
Instead, focus on storing up heavenly treasures that can never be taken from you. Don’t be deceived by the enemy’s offerings that glitter like gold; they won’t withstand the test of My refining fire.
Seek My Kingdom and strive for treasures that endure. To find My Kingdom, you must dig deep, spending time in My presence through prayer and worship and prioritise Me above all distractions.
Activation: Read the letters to the seven churches in Revelation 2 and 3. Meditate on the eternal rewards that Jesus promised to those who overcome, such as the hidden manna, the white stone with a new name on it, the tree of life, the right to sit with Jesus on His throne, your name written in the Book of Life etc., as well as on the prerequisites to receive them.
Hidden Treasure
“The kingdom of heaven is like a [very precious] treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid again; then in his joy he goes and sells all he has and buys that field [securing the treasure for himself].
Matthew 13:44 (AMP)
19 “Do not store up for yourselves [material] treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.
20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in and steal;
21 for where your treasure is, there your heart [your wishes, your desires; that on which your life centers] will be also.
Matthew 6:19-21 (AMP)

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Restore the Core

My child, I am desiring to clean out from your core that which is old and expired.
There are still mindsets and ways that are riddled with holes and therefore worthless for your new season. Not only am I moving to pull down old mindsets but to also remove the remnants of old and mouldy mantles from your shoulders.
I am seeking your permission to enter the deeper recesses of your unhealed heart.
Will you allow Me into the forgotten and hidden hurts found in the deep alcoves of your core? Allow Me to touch and restore these places to My original intent so that you may be able to speak truth and life from a healed and purified heart.
Child, let Me in.
Let Me strengthen your heart, and your inner being by the constant in-filling of My Spirit.
Allow My Word to renew you with truth, knowledge, and understanding, renewing your true identity and destiny, bringing the freedom you desire through your healing.
Prayer:
LORD, I thank you that according to Your word in Ephesians 3:16 You will grant me, according to the riches of Your glory, that I am strengthened with might through Your Spirit in my inner man. Today I release my deep inner being and all the places within me where I still need completed healing in over to You, I choose to hand these places over to you now and receive Your strength and freedom through a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit now in Jesus name.
May He grant you out of the riches of His glory, to be strengthened and spiritually energized with power through His Spirit in your inner self, [indwelling your innermost being and personality],
Ephesians 3:16 (AMP)
Therefore we do not become discouraged [spiritless, disappointed, or afraid]. Though our outer self is [progressively] wasting away, yet our inner self is being [progressively] renewed day by day.
2 Corinthians 4:16 (AMP)
13 I would have despaired had I not believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD
In the land of the living.14 Wait for and confidently expect the LORD;
Be strong and let your heart take courage;
Yes, wait for and confidently expect the LORD.Psalm 27:13-14 (AMP)

Tuesday Morning Scripture – Psalm 27

A Psalm of Fearless Trust in God.
A Psalm of David.
1 The Lord is my light and my salvation—Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the refuge and fortress of my life—Whom shall I dread?
2 When the wicked came against me to eat up my flesh, my adversaries and my enemies, they stumbled and fell.
3 Though an army encamp against me, my heart will not fear; though war arise against me, even in this I am confident.
4 One thing I have asked of the Lord, and that I will seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord [in His presence] all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty [the delightful loveliness and majestic grandeur] of the Lord and to meditate in His temple.
5 For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His shelter; in the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock.
6 And now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me, in His tent I will offer sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.
7 Hear, O Lord, when I cry aloud; be gracious and compassionate to me and answer me.
8 When You said, “Seek My face [in prayer, require My presence as your greatest need],” my heart said to You, “Your face, O Lord, I will seek [on the authority of Your word].”
9 Do not hide Your face from me, do not turn Your servant away in anger; You have been my help; do not abandon me nor [1]leave me, O God of my salvation!
10 Although my father and my mother have abandoned me yet the Lord will take me up [adopt me as His child].
11 Teach me Your way, O Lord, and lead me on a level path because of my enemies [who lie in wait].
12 Do not give me up to the will of my adversaries, for false witnesses have come against me; they breathe out violence.
13 I would have despaired had I not believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
14 Wait for and confidently expect the Lord; be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for and confidently expect the Lord.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Be the Joy of the Lord

In the days ahead, the joy of the Lord will be essential. This is not the same type of joy that is typical of human experience, which is gladness rooted in emotion or an event, but it’s My joy – the fruit of the spirit. It’s the kind of joy that is sourced from Me and found only in Me because it’s an attribute of who I am. It’s with this same joy that Jesus went to the cross. And although His task was difficult, it made Him glad to do so because of the promise of the finished work and the reason for it: redemption.
Know that what I am doing now also has a redemptive purpose, the harvest is on My mind. With this joy, I accomplish what needs to be done no matter how it looks. I judge with joy because My righteous justice brings forth repentance, reconciliation, and restoration. As those created in My image, I say to you ‘Be in My likeness!’ By My Spirit, I have given you My attributes, and if I am all those things and I am in you, then BE My joy! You will need this as it will strengthen you amidst the chaos and as things shift and shake on earth. Let the fruit of the spirit, joy, rule you. Let it overtake you and be the catalyst for your actions and speech.
Though the coming days may be challenging, go through them with the joy of the Lord; the joy that is felt because it carries with it My heart knowing that as My hand moves and shakes the foundations of the earth, there is a promise of great harvest and restoration on the other side.
Fully step into your identity and as you do, you will see your own thoughts change as you align more with My thoughts and My ways. Your perspectives will change as you step into mine, and you will see situations and atmospheres around you shift. As you step into being Joy, you will then be able to pour out the oil of joy on others as you now become a beacon of light and a bastion of hope in the darkest hours.
Activation:
But the one who is united and joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.
1 Corinthians 6:17 (AMP)
1 Corinthians 6:17 tells us that whoever is united with the Lord is one with Him in spirit. This means that we can access His attributes so that they become ours as well. Meditate on the fruit of the spirit found in Galatians 5:22.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Galatians 5:22 (AMP)
Seek the Lord’s complete guidance on this asking Him to teach you His joy so that you can learn how it is different from the human experience. Then, ask the Lord to train you on how to embody the joy of the Lord.
Then Ezra said to them, “Go [your way], eat the rich festival food, drink the sweet drink, and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. And do not be worried, for the joy of the Lord is your strength and your stronghold.”
Nehemiah 8:10 (AMP)
[looking away from all that will distract us and] focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith [the first incentive for our belief and the One who brings our faith to maturity], who for the joy [of accomplishing the goal] set before Him endured the cross, [a]disregarding the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God [revealing His deity, His authority, and the completion of His work].
Hebrews 12:2 (AMP)
Footnotes
[a] Hebrews 12:2 Sometimes the public shame of the cross is overlooked when one thinks of the pain and agony inflicted by it, but in the Roman Empire crucifixion was a shameful and disgraceful way to die, a form of capital punishment from which Roman citizens were exempt; and in Roman comedy it was used in a curse: “Go to a bad cross!”

Monday Morning Scripture – Galatians 5

Walk by the Spirit
1 It was for this freedom that Christ set us free [completely liberating us]; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery [which you once removed].
2 Notice, it is I, Paul, who tells you that if you receive circumcision [as a supposed requirement of salvation], Christ will be of no benefit to you [for you will lack the faith in Christ that is necessary for salvation].
3 Once more I solemnly affirm to every man who receives circumcision [as a supposed requirement of salvation], that he is under obligation and required to keep the whole Law.
4 You have been severed from Christ, if you seek to be [a]justified [that is, declared free of the guilt of sin and its penalty, and placed in right standing with God] through the Law; you have fallen from grace [for you have lost your grasp on God’s unmerited favor and blessing].
5 For we [not relying on the Law but] through the [strength and power of the Holy] Spirit, by faith, are waiting [confidently] for the hope of righteousness [the completion of our salvation].
6 For [if we are] in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but only faith activated and expressed and working through love.
7 You were running [the race] well; who has interfered and prevented you from obeying the truth?
8 This [deceptive] persuasion is not from Him who called you [to freedom in Christ].
9 A little [b]leaven [a slight inclination to error, or a few false teachers] leavens the whole batch [it perverts the concept of faith and misleads the church].
10 I have confidence in you in the Lord that you will adopt no other view [contrary to mine on the matter]; but the one who is disturbing you, whoever he is, will have to bear the penalty.
11 But as for me, [c]brothers, if I am still preaching circumcision [as I had done before I met Christ; and as [d]some accuse me of doing now, as necessary for salvation], why am I still being persecuted [by Jews]? In that case the stumbling block of the cross [to unbelieving Jews] has been abolished.
12 I wish that those who are troubling you [by teaching that circumcision is necessary for salvation] would even [go all the way and] castrate themselves!
13 For you, my brothers, were called to freedom; only do not let your freedom become an opportunity for the [e]sinful nature (worldliness, selfishness), but through [f]love serve and seek the best for one another.
14 For the whole Law [concerning human relationships] is fulfilled in one precept, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself [that is, you shall have an unselfish concern for others and do things for their benefit].”
15 But if you bite and devour one another [in bickering and strife], watch out that you [along with your entire fellowship] are not consumed by one another.
16 But I say, walk habitually in the [Holy] Spirit [seek Him and be responsive to His guidance], and then you will certainly not carry out the desire of the [g]sinful nature [which responds impulsively without regard for God and His precepts].
17 For the sinful nature has its desire which is opposed to the Spirit, and the [desire of the] Spirit opposes the [h]sinful nature; for these [two, the sinful nature and the Spirit] are in direct opposition to each other [continually in conflict], so that you [as believers] do not [always] do whatever [good things] you want to do.
18 But if you are guided and led by the Spirit, you are not subject to the Law.
19 Now the practices of the [i]sinful nature are clearly evident: they are sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality (total irresponsibility, lack of self-control),
20 [j]idolatry, [k]sorcery, hostility, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions [that promote heresies],
21 envy, drunkenness, riotous behavior, and other things like these. I warn you beforehand, just as I did previously, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the [l]sinful nature together with its passions and appetites.
25 If we [claim to] live by the [Holy] Spirit, we must also walk by the Spirit [with personal integrity, godly character, and moral courage—our conduct empowered by the Holy Spirit].
26 We must not become conceited, challenging or provoking one another, envying one another.
