Abba Father, this morning I just want to thank You for who You are to me.
The sun is hidden but I can still feel its warmth. This reminds me how, at times, my relationship is with You. I can’t see You but I can feel You. The times I can’t see or visualise You, are the occasions where I may be too busy or occupied with other things. However, today, as I look at Your creation; the colour of the sky and how it is filled with clouds; the leaves on the trees that will soon start to fall away and litter the streets with its golden array of colours; the cool breeze, that everyone has been looking forward to. On a really sunny day, when the sky is a clear blue, it’s possible to see the airplanes as they fly leaving contrails in their wake. The knowledge and abilities that have been given to mankind but not all recognise You for it……..
It’s then that I am reminded what a Mighty God I serve and how Great You are!
Thank You Father for making me and placing me where You have. Help me to leave my mark on this world and in the lives of all those I meet, so Your glory will truly be known. I pray that by the end of today I will not only be able to feel Your presence but to see as much of You as it is possible to. For Your Word says ‘Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God”. I ask, Father, that I will be found worthy.

Abba Father, today, as You place this day before me, I request that You prepare me for ALL that I am to receive. Ruach Elohim, the maker of the heavens and earth, goes by MANY names in His Word. These names accentuate different attributes of Him and He may only be known by one or two names by you, personally, but if you have a great memory, several or all. There are a numerous amount of people within this world, with different levels of faith. Not all worship the One True God that I am referring to now, and have been, in past posts. Some have no faith; some have a newly found faith; some have an untold amount of years of faith under their belt; some are self-righteous and some are seeking God’s face at every opportune moment. The afore-mentioned categories have different levels of faith and likewise, different measures of faith.
Ruach Elohim is the Hebrew translation for Spirit of God. It also means Creator, Mighty, Preserver, Strong and Transcendent. It is this name, which was used in Genesis 1:2 when the earth was formless; before He gave it light, shape and a future. Exactly the way He has done with me; exactly the way He has done with you; and exactly the way He has done with us. You may not know it. You may not believe it. You may not understand it, BUT, He sent His Son, Yeshua (Jesus), to transform all of us, and we have all been given the chance to know Him. Acknowledge Him and receive salvation. In the beginning God’s Spirit hovered over the waters and He made the way for creating a place where we may dwell. At the end of the day, right at this moment and in the future, the only thing that really matters is, who God is to you!
Who Is God To You?
Something would have to be wrong if it hadn’t crossed your mind what is really out there. When I say ‘there’ I’m referring to ‘up above’. In heaven(s) or in the universe. Heaven means the dwelling place of God. Heaven is His throne and earth is His footstool. That show’s how Great and Mighty our God is. In fact, Elohim is also a translation of Great! It must have crossed your mind whether or not heaven exists and also (dread the thought), whether God exists. I mean, what is beyond the sky? If it has crossed your mind whether heaven exists it has also crossed your mind whether hell exists. If you believe in one, chances are a belief exists for the other. The thing with ‘man’ is that they think too much of themselves, and don’t believe in anything greater than they are. Some scientists believe that the world began with an explosion and then proton and ion reactions brought about the existence of everything else. However, WHAT made that occur or should I say WHO? Man thinks that it must be as simple as a chemical reaction, not that there was a higher being that caused it. I suppose they could argue that Christians are the ones who can’t believe that it could just happen in that manner. They think we are small-minded and understand nothing. I used to attend a Church and one of the members was a scientist and another a mathematician. Great intellects. Therefore, Christianity is not a belief system just for the layman or people that have nothing to do with their brain cells! I chuckle to myself because I’ve had many conversations with people who have ‘different’, ‘strange’ thought patterns! So, Christians are in the know that we have a Father, Creator, Elohim! who brought the world and the first Adam into existence with three words: LET…IT…BE
MIRACLE WORKER
The Word of God is filled with many miracles of healing, that it is hard for the human mind to even fathom. They occurred thousands of years ago and still occur today. People who are experiencing pain or adversity may find it hard to acknowledge His existence because they are aware of the pain they feel or situations they are in…but He is here. Sometimes, not in all situations, these things happen and are the very things that pull you close or closer to Him. Will you hear His voice? When you look at the life that exists in the sea, the sea itself, on this earth, in the sky and the universe, please understand that these are the works of our Miracle Working God! Many miracles occurred in the Old Testament by prophets but what we need to consider are the ones of Yeshua, when He was on earth. He healed the blind and the sick, raised the dead, fed the hungry; for both tangible and spiritual food; and had authority of the elements; calming the storm. What are you believing Elohim for today. The Book of Hebrews tells us that we have a High Priest who is aware of/can sympathise with/understands our weaknesses (whatever they may be). All we have to do is go boldly to His Throne of Grace and we will obtain mercy.
Scriptures
John 2:1-11 Yeshua turned the water into wine, at a wedding.
Luke 9:10-17 Yeshua multiplied 5 loaves and 2 fish He was given, which resulted in Him being able to feed 5,000 people. There were 12 baskets leftover at the end. He is a God of the overflow! Supernatural increase! He provides more than enough!
Mark 2:1-12 In Capernaum, Yeshua told a man who was paralysed, to rise, pick up his bed and go home. This was an instantaneous healing, which came about by His Word.
Matthew 8: 23-27 In the presence of His disciples, He woke from a sleep and calmed the storm. This shows us that if we are close to Him He has power over all the elements of this world. The storms around us can be calmed, if we just put all our trust in Him.
Mark 1:40-45 A leper was healed just by touching him and without Yeshua doing anything. He did, however, feel the power leave Him. That was not the only time this happened as there was a lady with an issue of blood. She knew/believed that all she needed to do was touch the hem of His garment, and she would be made whole. It’s highly likely that this happened many other times within His time on earth and it definitely happens today!
PROMISE KEEPER
His Word is filled with many promises and you can be guaranteed that whenever our Almighty God makes a promise He ALWAYS follows it through. In Numbers 23 he tells us that He is not a man that He should lie, so EVERYTHING in His Word, which I like to call The Manual for Life, rest assured, will be carried through to completion. That means, anything our God Most High has started within or around us, will be followed through until it reaches the expected end. We, as human beings, get impatient and want results immediately, but be patient because HE’S GOT THIS. Our Almighty God is the Bridegroom and we (both male and female), are the bride and we have to make ourselves ready. Contemplate ALL the things that you would require from a husband or wife and know that He is able to provide and more! However, you have to be worthy of receiving them. You can be made worthy via Yeshua, our Messiah. Will you be ready?

LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS!
The world we live in is a very dark one, despite looking as beautiful in the above picture! Whether you watch the news or just read about it online, you will be amazed at how wicked the heart of man is. If we were to be told the amount of people losing their life on a daily basis, we would not leave our homes. Even locking ourselves away, however, doesn’t make us immune to the probability of losing our lives. The main focus at the moment is COVID-19. At the start of the p(l)andemic, you would have thought that there were no other deaths apart from this deadly virus. Many have said it doesn’t really exist, but I’ve known of people who have died and also are undergoing the long arduous process of recovery. Whether it is at the scale being reported or not, there is something out there. However, we need not fear. When we come to know Yeshua, in a real and proper way, the scales have been removed from our eyes. Even if you are an atheist, the Holy Spirit awakens your spirit in another way so your understanding changes. It is only then that you are able to go forth and spread the Gospel effectively and win more souls for the Messiah. Everything concerning Yeshua is Light. Light, as in within His attributes. He is positive. With Him there are no ‘blurred lines’ or darkness. The closer you are to Him the clearer your view of Him and the world will be. The shadows will disappear the more you allow everything about yourself to be revealed to Elohim He will assist you in making changes and you will become open to leaving them for Him to make those changes. Yield all your blemishes to Him. Remember, Elohim knows all but, you have to be willing to allow Him to help you make that change. Follow this link for a more detailed explanation on the differences in views depending on the distance it is from the light. Once watched place yourself as the object and Elohim as the Light. Then meditate on it.
Our Most High God is that Light in the darkness.

I thank You that, because of me answering Your call, every single promise made to Your people back then, can be applied to me now! The LORD is my Light and Salvation – whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life – of whomshall I be afraid?
YHWH Ori brightens my way, so I can move, talk, live correctly and He does this all through the death of His Son on the cross; whosoever believes in His life, death and resurrection SHALL receive salvation. Once I believe in Him, there is not a need to fear no one or no thing.
When the wicked advance against me to devour me, it is my enemies and foes who will stumble and fall.
No man or thing can rise up against me; anything they try will be a case of return to sender, what was meant for my destruction will bring them down.
Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident.
When it seems as though the world is closing in on me; wishing to cause me harm, to bring my life or joy to an end, I will not fear. My spirit remains alive in You and I remember Your promise that You will neither leave nor forsake me.
One thing I ask from the LORD, this thing do I seek; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek Him in His temple.
The only thing I need to do is seek Your face, seek Your grace and seek Your presence. Wherever You are, I wish to be also. In the presence of You LORD is fullness of joy (real joy). I just need to be aware that in Your presence, is all I need. Ultimate trust in You, whilst I dwell in Your temple.
For in the day of trouble He will keep me safe in His dwelling; He will hide me in the shelter of His sacred tent and set me high upon a rock.
In the moment of trouble, You will keep me safe. If I abide in You, You will abide in me. You will lift me up high on the wings of an eagle, out of harm’s way.
Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me; at His sacred tent I will sacrifice with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the LORD.
You will lift my head above the enemy and ALL those who are against me. I will forever be a living sacrifice, dying to self and living on in You. My life will be in harmony with all others that are a part of the Body of Yeshua.
Here my voice when I call, LORD; be merciful to me and answer me.
YHWH, you will hear when I call You. You will hear the beat of my heart and sense every moment of fear; have sympathy on me and let me hear Your response.
My heart says of You “Seek His face!” Your face, LORD, I will seek.
My spirit commands me to seek your face, so I will be obedient and seek You with every fibre of my being.
Do not hide Your face from me, do not turn Your servant away in anger; You have been my helper. Do not reject me or forsake me, God my saviour.
I desire to see Your face, please do not hide Yourself away from me. Let there not be any anger in You concerning me. I realise You have always been my helper, that You are God my Saviour. Please do not abandon me and leave me all alone. I am nothing without You.
Though my father and mother forsake me, the LORD will receive me.
No matter who abandons me, I know that You are always by my side, calling me towards You.
Teach me Your way, LORD; lead me in a straight path because of my oppressors.
Assist me in learning all Your ways, as I know that I need more of You. I pray that I will not turn to the right or the left, but will remain focused, straight ahead, on You.
Do not turn me over to the desire of my foes; for false witnesses rise up against me, spouting malicious accusations.
Do not turn me over to those who are against me and wish to do me harm; those who rise up in judgement and wish to spread ‘false truths’ and slander my name and character. Any attempts made will result to nought!
I remain confident of this; I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
I am assured of all Your promises; I will experience Your blessings in this lifetime.
Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.

Why Did You Make Me Black Lord Lord .. Why did you make me black? Why did you make someone the world would hold back?… Black is the color of dirty clothes, of grimy hands and feet…… Black is the color of darkness, of tired beaten streets…
Why did you give me thick lips, a broad nose and kinky hair? Why did you create someone who receives the hated stare?
Black is the color of the bruised eye when someone gets hurt… Black is the color of darkness, black is the color of dirt.
Why is my bone structure so thick, my hips and cheeks so high? Why are my eyes brown, and not the color of the sky?
Why do people think I’m useless? How come I feel so used? Why do people see my skin and think I should be abused? Lord, I just don’t understand… What is it about my skin? Why is it some people want to hate me and not know the person within?
Black is what people are “Labeled” when others want to keep them away… Black is the color of shadows cast… Black is the end of the day.
Lord you know my own people mistreat me, and you know this just ain’t right… They don’t like my hair, they don’t like my skin, as they say I’m too dark or too light!
Lord, don’t you think it’s time to make a change? Why don’t you redo creation and make everyone the same?

I made you in the color of coal from which beautiful diamonds are formed… I made you in the color of oil, the black gold which keeps people warm.
Your color is the same as the rich dark soil that grows the food you need… Your color is the same as the black stallion and panther, Oh what majestic creatures indeed!
All colors of the heavenly rainbow can be found throughout every nation… When all these colors are blended, you become my greatest creation!
Your hair is the texture of lamb’s wool, such a beautiful creature is he… I am the shepherd who watches them, I will ALWAYS watch over thee!
You are the color of the midnight sky, I put star glitter in your eyes… There’s a beautiful smile hidden behind your pain… That’s why your cheeks are so high!
You are the color of dark clouds from the hurricanes I create in September… I made your lips so full and thick, so when you kiss…they will remember!
Your stature is strong, your bone structure thick to withstand the burden of time… The reflection you see in the mirror, that image that looks back, that is MINE!
