Devotional Prayer – Friday 11th December 2020

My Almighty God, I thank You for this blessed week. It is one where I have experienced trials, temptations, ups and downs, but I’m still here! Your Word says that I should count it all joy when I am tested, as it will lead to spiritual maturity; I will gain strength and a deeper knowledge of You and Your forgiveness. I know that my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and because of this I am sanctified, set apart and walk in Your grace. I ask that You continue to raise me up, so that I will live in Your presence and keep my focus. All that I am and all that I do, I place at Your feet. I thank You for Your omniscience, so I can have full trust in You. You are Omnipresent, so will be my guider and protector. I am not alone. Your Word says You will neither leave nor forsake me. Therefore, I rest assured that I can walk and live in victory. No matter what is occurring around me, in the media or around this world; You have everything under Your control. You have given me this life, at this specific time, so I may carry out a good work for You. Nobody knows the date or the hour of Your return, but I pray that You will find me spotless, ready and waiting. As I strive, I know that it can only be done, not by my strength but by Yours. Once again I give You all the praise, honour and glory, and give You thanks.

To You who is able to keep me from falling and to present me before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy – to You who is the only God, my Saviour, be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Yeshua The Anointed One, my Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen

Meditational Scripture

Romans 10:12 (Amplified Bible)

For there is no distinction between Jew and Gentile; for the same Lord is Lord over all (of us), and (He is) abounding in riches (blessings) for all who call on Him (in faith and prayer). For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord (in prayer) will be saved.”

Devotional Prayer – Thursday 10th December 2020

My Sovereign God. My Almighty Redeemer. The One who was, who is and is to come. The One who was in the very beginning and shall ever be. I come to you, giving thanks one more time. I again thank you that You woke me this morning and for Your forgiveness of sin. I thank You that You are The Living God that is touched by the feeling of my weaknesses; whether they be physical or mental. Yet again, keep within me the realisation that I am a work in progress! No matter what others may say and no matter how things may feel, I CAN and WILL overcome. Therefore, I can continue to fight the good fight of life and will not give up; because life is a battle where I will be a conqueror. Place within me a spirit of joy, so I may enjoy all the blessings laid before me. From now on I pray that my life will be one where I am blessed with moments to laugh and dance.

To You who is able to keep me from falling and to present me before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy – to You who is the only God, my Saviour, be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Yeshua The Anointed One, my Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen

Meditation Scripture

Hebrews 4:15 (Amplified Bible)

Therefore, it was essential that He had to be made like His brothers (mankind) in every respect, so that He might (by experience) become a merciful and faithful High Priest in things related to God, to make atonement (propitiation) for the people’s sins (thereby wiping away the sin, satisfying divine justice, and providing a way of reconciliation between God and mankind).

Devotional Prayer – Wednesday 9th December 2020

Abba Father, who is in heaven, Great and Mighty is Your name. I thank You for waking me this morning and the fact that I have another time to start over, as the mental slate I too many times stay focused on, has been wiped clean. My sins are as far from me as the east is from the west and I am made brand new. As I face this day I pray that You go before me and I may walk, think and carry out all things with boldness. Strengthen me as I stand up for my belief in You and everything that stands on the side of goodness and whatever is right. I thank You that I am more than a conqueror. When I speak allow me to speak with confidence and boldness. Place in my spirit today the remembrance that you have not given me a spirit of fear, but one of power, love and a sound mind.

Philippians 4:8 (Amplified Bible)

Finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things (centre your mind on them, and implant them in your heart).

Devotional Prayer – Tuesday 8th December 2020

Abba Father, I awake this morning thanking You from the very depths of my spirit and soul. We don’t realise it but, there are many who laid their head down or closed their eyes last night and have not opened them this morning. There are many who were not able to sleep within the confines of a warm bed, in a home or safety. For all the things I have, and all too often have taken for granted, I give You all the praise, honour and glory and my soul magnifies You LORD. Teach me to be thankful for all that I have because whether it be much or small there are those that have less. Give me a continually thankful heart. I place myself, family, friends and my spiritual brothers and sisters before You, as we step into a period of uncertainty, I pray that You will keep us focused on You, so that any decisions made are ones that run in line with the plans You have for us. Help us to diligently seek You because in doing so we shall find.

1 Thessalonians 5:23 (Amplified Bible)

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify me through and through (that is, separate me from profane and vulgar things, make me pure and whole and undamaged – consecrated to Him – set apart for His purpose); may my entire spirit and soul and body be kept complete and (be found) blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ

Devotional Prayer – Monday 7th December 2020

Abba Father, as I wake this morning and face another day, I ask You to go before me and make all my mental, physical and spiritual paths straight. I thank You that You are a God of a second chance, so if I place myself humbly at Your throne of grace and seek Your face, You are faithful and just to forgive me of my sins. I pray for not only myself but all those who are not physically able to speak to You, for whatever the reason may be. We are at a point where there are so many people who need a touch from You, whether they know it or not. I pray that You meet them at their point of need. I place before You all those who do not realise You as their Lord and Saviour and I pray that something will occur today that will cause them to acknowledge You as a loving Father, who is just waiting for them to turn towards You. As You have drawn me close to You, I pray the same for them.

Micah 7:18 (New International Version)

Who is a God like You, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of His inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy

Devotional Prayer – Sunday 6th December 2020

As the song writer says, ‘I love You Lord and I lift my voice to worship You. Oh, my soul rejoice. I lift my voice with all the strength I have and give You all the glory, all the honour and all the praise. Before I was born, You knew me. As I went through my triumphs and my failures, You saw them and set everything in place before I ever did. Whenever my back has been against the wall; You brought me forward! I look towards You now and ask that You continue to shelter and help me, as I attempt what You would have me do. Imprint Your life-giving and strengthening Words on my heart and memory, so I will never fear. My Almighty God I put all my faith, hope and trust in You. I know that I can only do all this by Your grace, which is unmerited mercy.

John 4:24 (Amplified Bible)

God is Spirit (the Source of life, yet invisible to mankind), and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.
