Wednesday Morning Prayer (Wk3/2021)

Almighty God, I am here again to worship, adore, praise and glorify You. As I wake this morning I come before You and lay myself bear. When I think of all the blessings and goodness You have put my way, it amazes me. I am so unworthy but am made worthy by the death and resurrection of Your Son Yeshua HaMashiach. By the shedding of His Blood I receive fullness of joy and leave depression aside. I receive remission of my sins, healing, the promise of eternal life and so much more.

Today, I approach You as the man/woman of God that I am. I have made the decision to take up the mantle and clothe myself in faithfulness and righteousness. I pray that You despatch Your ministering Angels to provide well needed guidance and protection. I yearn to be used by You, to build Your Kingdom. Your Word tells me ‘Seek My face’, my soul responds ‘Your face LORD I seek’. Your Word tells me whatever I seek I will find, so I continue to seek You and know You to deeper depths and higher heights. Wherever Your Spirit leads me I will follow, as my spirit says ‘I want You to use me’. I may fear but I am excited to lose control and allow You to use me. I thank You for being a rewarder of anyone that diligently seeks You. Your Word tells me to be holy as You are holy, which is not something that can be done on my own, so I will cleave to You. I am answering the High Calling.

His glory is great because of Your victory; Splendor and majesty You bestow upon him.
Psalm 21:5

Tuesday Morning Prayer (Wk3/2021)

My Father, I am here again, to give You glory, honour and praise. I thank You for what You have done, what You are doing and what You intend to do. You say in Your Word that whatever I ask for in faith, I shall receive. Therefore, I ask You for forgiveness of all sins of thought, word and deed. It is by asking for this first, that I am able to approach Your throne of grace.

Today I ask for an increase of faith, so that I can put myself in line with Your promises, as You are my Heavenly Father and cannot, will not lie. I thank You for the High Calling, which I have responded to by accepting Your Son as my Lord and Saviour. Your Word tells me that I shall be above and not beneath. I will run but not be weary, as I know You hold my future. I’ll be a victor, not a failure; and I have been chosen and not rejected. My joy in You is my strength. You love me unconditionally. You will turn my ashes into beauty. You will give me strength and guidance for every situation I face. You will neither leave nor forsake me. As long as I keep my focus on You, I can be assured that I will be in perfect peace, no matter what the news report says. Your power is made perfect in my weakness; I only need to let go of all my fears. I thank You that You are a promise-keeper!

The Lord will make you the head (leader) and not the tail (follower); and you will be above only, and you will not be beneath, if you listen and pay attention to the commandments of the Lord your God, which I am commanding you today, to observe them carefully.

Monday Morning Prayer (Wk3/2021)

Abba Father, I wake this morning giving You thanks, honour and praise. As always, I place myself before You and thank You for forgiveness of my sins; whether they be of thought, word or deed. Many laid their heads down last night but are now not in the land of the living. I am still here, and for that I give You all the glory. There is no body, no matter or thing that can give me a second over what You have ordained me to have and in the same way, cannot take it away. The fact You have woken me today means, You are not done with me yet! HalleluYah! I have been given another 24 hours to place my mark on this earth. I don’t yet know what it is, but I give thanks. You are an Ever-present God and will neither leave nor forsake me, so I will have an expected end. Therefore, whatever or whoever comes across my path today or this week, I will not miss, because it has already been written in the Book of Life, pertaining to me. Every opportunity will be used to my full advantage. There have been moments I have thought I could not face another day, but today, I am giving You thanks, for I am a new creation. Your mercies are new every morning, All the things taking place on this earth and You have chosen me to be part of the remedy. There are people who need to be comforted; I am chosen to point them to You. There are people in pain; I am here to provide the salve. There are people who are feeling hopeless; I am here to advise them of the hope that can be obtained through You. There are people to be saved; I am to be part of spreading the knowledge of obtaining salvation. I thank You that because of situations that I have been through I can share what I was and where You have brought me to. You kept me!

‘For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Saturday Morning Prayer (Wk2/2021)

Almighty God, once again, I ask You for the forgiveness of my sins, whether they be in thought, word or deed. I thank You in advance for being present throughout my day ahead. You are an omnipresent God so, although there is a lockdown, You can reach us all, whether it be on our daily walks, in the supermarket or with the applicable two metre social distance! Therefore, I am asking that You prepare the way for those I am to come in contact with and direct all conversations had. Help me, so that I do not allow a moment to pass where I am able to spread the Good News of Your grace and love, that is available for all to attain. Lord God, my Mighty Redeemer, I thank You that even though there are so many changes occurring in life as we know it, You are the one constant that remains. You never change and You are omnipotent. Your promises are as true and constant as the moment they were written.

The aim of the enemy is to steal, kill and destroy. I know that he can appear in the form of despondency, doubt, lack, loss, pain and all that errs on the side of negativity and away from You. Capture my focus, so that I will receive healing, abundance, newness of life, surety and a bond with You. By Your grace, I choose to rise above all things and ways he may attempt to pull me. I shall overcome. I thank You for choosing and appointing me, so that I may bear fruit. May the seed I plant today be watered by Your Holy Spirit, even if it is planted in my own spirit. Help me as I attempt to meditate on Your Word, that it may be a fertiliser for my soul. I pray that my mind may be open to receive, to capture and retain all that I feed it today. Thank You, that whatever I ask, You will give me. Therefore, in the name of Your Son Yeshua The Anointed One, I pray for direction, strength, guidance and all the things mentioned before. I pray that every step I take, every conversation I have and every prayer I say throughout the day, is dictated by You. Place in my spirit the understanding that I am more than a conqueror, because I live my life through You. Help me to walk in confidence as no evil can befall me. May I realise the power I have through You and take up the mantle to walk in the authority I have been given.

³⁷Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us (so much that He died for us). ³⁸For I am convinced (and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt) that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, ³⁹nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the (unlimited) love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Thursday Morning Prayer (Wk2/2021)

Abba Father, My Lord and my God, I recognise You for who You are and worship and adore You; not as man but via my spirit by which I am connected to You. Your Word tells me that they who worship You must do so in spirit and in truth. As usual, I place myself before You and ask for forgiveness of all my sins, whether they be of thought, word or deed and ask for Your leading for the day ahead. Today, I focus on predestination. Your Word tells me that who You foreknew You predestinated. I am not reading this prayer by coincidence. I have not reached this point by accident but it is because You knew me before I physically came into being and have called me to Your marvellous light. As David requested in Psalm 17 that You keep him as the apple of Your eye and hide him in the shadow of Your wings I do the same. Your Word also says if I seek to stay, rest, inhabit Your secret place, I will remain in Your shadow. In Your shadow there is protection; fullness of joy; strength; peace; relieving of all anxiety; good health; assurance; and so much more. I take comfort in Your Words that have been provided for me to live sheltered by You. In that same vein, continue to lead me. Assist me as I begin to seek the treasures of darkness and wealth stored in secret places, as mentioned in the Book of Isaiah. Father, I pray that I am able to continually discern Your voice, so I may remain in the path set out for me.

For those whom He foreknew (and loved and chose beforehand), He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son (and ultimately share in His complete sanctification), so that He would be the firstborn (the most beloved and honoured) among many believers.

Thought For The Day (Wk2/2021)

Sunday Morning Prayer for Healing

I come before You the God of Isaac, Abraham and Jacob; the Prince of Peace; Wonderful Counsellor; Alpha and Omega; First and Last; Lord of Lords; King of Kings; and The Great I AM. I come before You and exalt You this morning for You are MY God, My Father. I give thanks that You have the power to heal us everywhere we hurt! Counsellors, Consultants, Doctors, Nurses and Physicians may study for years but they are unable to do anything without Your hand in the midst. You say in Your Word that if we ask anything in the name of Your Son Yeshua HaMashiach, You will answer. Therefore, we ask with the belief and knowledge that You will hear and answer because it is within Your will. We come at a point of grace, which is because of Your Son, who we cleave to. We thank You that when we are weak You are strong and that the only reason we are covered is because of our acceptance of what has been done for us, by Your Son.

I place the world at Your throne. Every man, woman and child requires a touch from You, so I call with the knowledge that healings will take place. Your Word tells us that by the stripes of Your Son we are healed. As He walked on the earth over two thousand years ago, healing every disease and sickness, we ask that the Holy Spirit the Comforter, descends on those within the hospitals, in their homes, on the streets; wherever they may be and whatever their ailment. I pray that Your Holy Spirit covers each and every person from the hairs on their head to the soles of their feet; every organ, artery, blood vessel and cell and each and every part of their physical body. I call out Covid-19 by name and command that it leaves the bodies of those laying in the hospitals. Your Word says we do not have because we do not ask. Therefore, I ask for an atmosphere of healing and deliverance to be created; healing for physical, mental and spiritual pain.

I fear not and stand firm because I know the capabilities of the God I serve. The battle belongs to You. No weapon that is formed or fashioned against me shall prosper. The plans of the enemy shall come to nothing. I pray that the Blood that was shed for me will saturate every spirit, every body, every situation and make everything that is wrong, right. I know that the enemy is like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour, but my focus remains on You. You made heaven and earth, and all that is within it and You deserve all the honour, glory, praise and attention. Strengthen your people, here on earth, so that we can become channels of your peace.
