Wednesday Morning Prayer (Wk20/2021)

Abba Father, I come before You acknowledging You as my Saviour; my God; and my King. I give You all glory, honour and praise, and ask for forgiveness of all sins; whether they be of thought, word or deed. I thank You that Your mercies are new every morning. It is only because You have sustained me that I am able to see this morning. HalleluYah! One more day to try again and complete what I have started or start on those things not yet done; help me to realise that, and imprint it on my mind and heart.

Today, I thank You for Your grace and lovingkindness, without which I would have no hope. It is because of Your great compassion that You sent Your Son Jesus Christ to prepare the Way. Without faith it is impossible to please You and with it, I am able to do all things and receive all promises written in Your Word. Your Words are promises and they are truth. So today, I ask, that not my will but Your will be done. I take You at every word that has been written; I have been forgiven, as I have requested it; I will be strengthened; I will be equipped; my paths will be made straight and smooth; and where I am weak, You are strong, With confidence I place myself within Your Hands, as You are the Author and Finisher of all things, so I can have faith that no good thing will be withheld from me. My Father and my God, I thank You for all this and more. I trust in You.

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall read [and meditate on] it day and night, so that you may be careful to do [everything] in accordance with all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will be successful.

Joshua 1:8 (AMP)

For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows grace and favor and honor; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.

Psalm 84:11 (AMP)

5 Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.

6 In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, and He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].

Proverbs 3:5-6 (AMP)

But Jesus turning and seeing her said, “Take courage, daughter; your [personal trust and confident] faith [in Me] has made you well.” And at once the woman was [completely] healed.

Matthew 9:22 (AMP)

27 As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed Him, screaming loudly, “Have mercy and compassion on us, Son of David (Messiah)!”

28 When He went into the house, the blind men came up to Him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe [with a deep, abiding trust] that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.”

29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith [your trust and confidence in My power and My ability to heal] it will be done to you.”

Matthew 9:27-29 (AMP)

20 Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),

21 Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages).

Amen (So be it)

Hebrews 13:20-21 (AMPC)

Wednesday Morning Scripture (Wk20/2021) – Psalm 3

Morning Prayer of Trust in God.

A Psalm of David. When he fled from Absalom his son.

O Lord, how my enemies have increased! Many are rising up against me.

2 Many are saying of me, “There is no help [no salvation] for him in God.” Selah.

3 But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, my glory [and my honor], and the One who lifts my head.

4 With my voice I was crying to the Lord, and He answered me from His holy mountain. Selah.

5 I lay down and slept [safely]; I awakened, for the Lord sustains me.

6 I will not be intimidated or afraid of the ten thousands

Who have set themselves against me all around.

7 Arise, O Lord; save me, O my God! For You have struck all my enemies on the cheek; You have shattered the teeth of the wicked.

8 Salvation belongs to the Lord; may Your blessing be upon Your people. Selah.

Psalm 3 (AMP)

Friday Morning Prayer (Wk19/2021)

Abba Father, I awake giving You all glory, honour and praise. I take this moment to ask You for forgiveness of sins of thought, word and deed; seen and unseen; and known and unknown. Your Word tells us we only need to ask and we shall receive. Therefore, I thank You for all answered prayer, as You know the intents of my heart. Great is Your mercy towards me, it is new every morning and for all these things, I give You thanks.

Today, I pull on You as The Source needed for this day. I thank You that I am held in the palm of Your hand; no one and no thing can remove me. At times my spirit is willing but the body is weak; please remain within me because then I know I will not be without. I pray You will enable me to move boldly, with confidence, immoveable and in and with Your strength. It is the only way I will be able to carry out the tasks You have ordained for me. Your Word says that You will neither leave nor forsake me. Help me to hold that in the focus of my mind’s eye, and remain empowered. For Your Word, again, comforts me by saying I have not been given a spirit of fear but one of power, love and a sound mind. Therefore, I trust in You.

22 It is because of the Lord’s lovingkindnesses that we are not consumed, Because His [tender] compassions never fail.

23 They are new every morning; Great and beyond measure is Your faithfulness.

Lamentations 3:22-23 (Amplified Bible)

17 They shall lick the dust like a serpent; Like crawling things of the earth they shall come trembling out of their fortresses and hiding places. They shall turn and come with fear and dread to the Lord our God and they shall be afraid and stand in awe before You [O Lord].

18 Who is a God like You, who forgives wickedness and passes over the rebellious acts of the remnant of His possession? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He [constantly] delights in mercy and lovingkindness.

19 He shall again have compassion on us; He will subdue and tread underfoot our wickedness [destroying sin’s power]. Yes, You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.

Micah 7:17-19 (ESV – English Standard Version)

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].

2 Timothy 1:7 (Amplified Bible)

Hebrews 13:20-21(AMPC)

Wednesday Morning Prayer (Wk19/2021)

Abba Father, I thank You for this day placed before me and give You all glory, honour and praise. I ask that You forgive me of all sins, whether seen and/or unseen; known and/or unknown; and mental or physical. As I stand before You, I ask that this day will be used for Your glory.

Today, I thank You, in advance, for the guidance needed as I go forward and share the good news. I ask for ways to be opened up both physically and spiritually, so that words spoken will either fall on fallow ground waiting for seeds to be sown, or be a preparation. Let today be the day for harvests to be reaped, and ways prepared for the future. Your Word says that Paul planted, Apollos watered and You gave the increase. I do all I do, by Your grace, Your might and Your power. It is not me that will speak, but You. Whatever stage of the process I am in today, I ask that Your will be done. I trust in You.

23 Thus says the Lord, “Let not the one who is wise and skillful boast in his insight; let not the one who is mighty and powerful boast in his strength; let not the one who is rich boast in his [temporal satisfactions and earthly] abundance;

24 but let the one who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows Me [and acknowledges Me and honors Me as God and recognizes without any doubt], that I am the Lord who practices lovingkindness, justice and righteousness on the earth, for in these things I delight,” says the Lord.

25 “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, “when I will punish all who are circumcised [physically] and yet uncircumcised [spiritually]

Jeremiah 9:23-25 (AMP)

6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God [all the while] was causing the growth.

7 So neither is the one who plants nor the one who causes the growth.

8 He who plants and he who waters are one [in importance and esteem, working toward the same purpose]; but each will receive his own reward according to his own labour.

9 For we are God’s fellow workers [His servants working together]; you are God’s cultivated field [His garden, His vineyard], God’s building.

1 Corinthians 3:6-9 (AMP)

14 We are not overstepping the limits of our province, as if we did not [legitimately] reach to you, for we were the [very] first to come even as far as you with the good news of Christ.

15 We do not go beyond our proper limit, boasting in the work of other men, but we have the hope that as your faith [in Christ and His divine power] continues to grow, our field among you may be greatly expanded [but still within the limits of our commission],

16 so that we may preach the gospel even in the lands beyond you, but not to boast in work already accomplished in another one’s field of activity.

2 Corinthians 10:14-16 (AMP)

Wednesday Morning Scripture (Wk19/2021) – Jude 1:17-25

Keep Yourselves in the Love of God

17 But as for you, beloved, remember the [prophetic] words spoken by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ.

18 They used to say to you, “In the last days there will be scoffers, following after their own ungodly passions.”

19 These are the ones who are [agitators] causing divisions—worldly-minded [secular, unspiritual, carnal, merely sensual—unsaved], devoid of the Spirit.

20 But you, beloved, build yourselves up on [the foundation of] your most holy faith [continually progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], pray in the Holy Spirit,

21 and keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously and looking forward to the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ [which will bring you] to eternal life.

22 And have mercy on some, who are doubting;

23 save others, snatching them out of the fire; and on some have mercy but with fear, loathing even the clothing spotted and polluted by their shameless immoral freedom.

24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling or falling into sin, and to present you unblemished [blameless and faultless] in the presence of His glory with triumphant joy and unspeakable delight,

25 to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and power, before all time and now and forever.

Amen.

Jude 1:17:25 (AMP)

Tuesday Morning Prayer (Wk19/2021)

Abba Father, I give You all glory, honour and praise for another day. I thank You for Your forgiveness of sins and the fact that Your mercies are new every morning.

Today, I honour You. I acknowledge You for Who You are and place You before me, where You belong. Remembering Your promises to me, I step forward with the battle cry of no weapon formed against me will prosper. Daily I face a battle that pulls me from side to side but my focus will remain on High and I shall overcome. I am clothed in the armour that shelters me inside and out from head to toe. As I step into this day, help me to make a change on this earth, in my life and others. Order my physical and spiritual steps, that I may be obedient and worthy. Your word says You will neither leave nor forsake me so, today, I will be victorious, because the battle has already been won. Help me to be a shining example of Your loving-kindness, forgiveness, goodness and strength, so others may be drawn to You. My father and my God, I trust in You.

But no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong. This [peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord [those in whom the ideal Servant of the Lord is reproduced]; this is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from Me [this is that which I impart to them as their justification], says the Lord.

Isaiah 54:17 (AMPC)

Sin need never again be your master, for now you are no longer tied to the law where sin enslaves you, but you are free under God’s favor and mercy.

Romans 6:14 (TLB)

14 We are not overstepping the limits of our province, as if we did not [legitimately] reach to you, for we were the [very] first to come even as far as you with the good news of Christ.

15 We do not go beyond our proper limit, boasting in the work of other men, but we have the hope that as your faith [in Christ and His divine power] continues to grow, our field among you may be greatly expanded [but still within the limits of our commission],

2 Corinthians 10:14-16 (AMP)

Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to [successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger], and having done everything [that the crisis demands], to stand firm [in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious].

Ephesians 6:13 (AMP)

12 For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power (making it active, operative, energizing, and effective); it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and (the immortal) spirit, and of joints and marrow (of the deepest parts of our nature), exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.

13 And not a creature exists that is concealed from His sight, but all things are open and exposed, naked and defenceless to the eyes of Him with Whom we have to do.

Hebrews 4:12 (AMPC)

20 Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),

21 Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages).

Monday Morning Prayer (Wk19/2021)

Abba Father, I open my eyes to a new day and give You all glory, praise and honour. I ask for forgiveness of all sins of thought, word and deed; seen and unseen; known and unknown; and thank You for granting it.

Today, I wake up refreshed and ready to face the world renewed. Two paths are before me and I endeavour to take the one You have predestined for me, head on. With all the authority You have blessed me with, I command my spirit to rise up against every lie of the enemy and allow my heart and mind to be receptive to everything You wish to reveal to me and those around. Today, I will be the head and not the tail; above and not beneath. Projects and assignments set for me will follow through to an expected end, set by You, as everything I put my mind and hands to will be marked as a success. You have equipped me with all that I need. Today, I will step out and show up. Today, I will exist with purpose. Today, I realise the fact that I am predestined for greatness, in every aspect of my life. Today, Father God, I trust in You.

28 And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.

29 For those whom He foreknew [and loved and chose beforehand], He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son [and ultimately share in His complete sanctification], so that He would be the firstborn [the most beloved and honored] among many believers.

30 And those whom He predestined, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified [declared free of the guilt of sin]; and those whom He justified, He also glorified [raising them to a heavenly dignity].

Romans 8:29-30 (AMP)

4 just as [in His love] He chose us in Christ [actually selected us for Himself as His own] before the foundation of the world, so that we would be holy [that is, consecrated, set apart for Him, purpose-driven] and blameless in His sight. In love

5 He predestined and lovingly planned for us to be adopted to Himself as [His own] children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the kind intention and good pleasure of His will—

Ephesians 1:4-5 (AMP)

In Him also we have received an inheritance [a destiny—we were claimed by God as His own], having been predestined (chosen, appointed beforehand) according to the purpose of Him who works everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His will,

Ephesians 5:11 (AMP)

20 Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),

21 Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages).

Amen (So be it).

Thursday Morning Prayer (Wk18/2021)

My Father and my Mighty God, I thank You for waking me up this morning, blessings received and blessings on their way. I ask You for forgiveness of sins, whether they be of thoughts, words or deeds and also Your assistance to overcome.

Today, may I stand corrected, as Your Ambassador. Wake up every gift within and prepare me for the race, road and life ahead. I set myself ready for the new day before me. May every crooked way be made straight and may I remain an example to all those I come across. I thank You for Your promise of neither leaving nor forsaking me, so I can rest assured that, whatsoever and whoever I come across, You will be there; I need not fear. I have been called to carry out Your Great Commission; showing others that You are The Way, The Truth and The Life. Forgive me for moments where I have not been a good example but have halted anyone from coming to know You, because of things I may have said and/or done. May it have a reverse affect and they realise that You are a forgiving God; all our sins are as far from us as the east is from the west. All we need to do is earnestly request forgiveness and we are forgiven and set free. I realise that every word and deed, seen by the world, is able to have a ripple effect so, I pray, that I will always have that in the forefront of my mind. May I positively affect the lives of family, friends, those online, in my neighbourhood and anyone else I come across. May I run a fair race, be found worthy of the prize and lead many to do the same.

As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us

Psalm 103:12 (AMP)

The Great Commission

16 Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated.

17 And when they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted [that it was really He].

18 Jesus came up and said to them, “All authority (all power of absolute rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.

19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

20 teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually—regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:16 (AMP

24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run [their very best to win], but only one receives the prize? Run [your race] in such a way that you may seize the prize and make it yours!

25 Now every athlete who [goes into training and] competes in the games is disciplined and exercises self-control in all things. They do it to win a crown that withers, but we [do it to receive] an imperishable [crown that cannot wither].

1 Corinthians 9:24 (AMP)

12 For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.
