Tuesday Morning Scripture (Wk30/2021) – Colossians 3:1-11 (AMP)

Put On the New Self

1 Therefore if you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, sharing in His resurrection from the dead], keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

2 Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value].

3 For you died [to this world], and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God.

4 When Christ, who is our life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.

5 So put to death and deprive of power the evil longings of your earthly body [with its sensual, self-centered instincts] immorality, impurity, sinful passion, evil desire, and greed, which is [a kind of] idolatry [because it replaces your devotion to God].

6 Because of these [sinful] things the [divine] wrath of God is coming on the sons of disobedience [those who fail to listen and who routinely and obstinately disregard God’s precepts],

7 and in these [sinful things] you also once walked, when you were habitually living in them [without the knowledge of Christ].

8 But now rid yourselves [completely] of all these things: anger, rage, malice, slander, and obscene (abusive, filthy, vulgar) language from your mouth.

9 Do not lie to one another, for you have stripped off the old self with its evil practices,

10 and have put on the new [spiritual] self who is being continually renewed in true knowledge in the image of Him who created the new self—

11 a renewal in which there is no [distinction between] Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, [nor between nations whether] barbarian or Scythian, [nor in status whether] slave or free, but Christ is all, and in all [so believers are equal in Christ, without distinction].

Tuesday Morning Prayer (Wk30/2021)

Abba Father, I thank You for the brand new day, which is before me. I give thanks that Your mercies are new every morning. I thank You for what is to come. May I be used for Your glory.

Today, I thank You for Your Word which tells me You are a rewarder of those who diligently seek You. May I learn from David and Job, so I will be strengthened and consistently cling to You; may I live as one after Your own heart come what may. I pray that as I dwell in Your Word I will take note of the things that You repeat over and over to Your people…to me…You also say that if Your people are called by Your Name they will hear your Words. So, my prayer is, that I will hear Your Words, they will resonate with me and become chiselled across my heart; impossible to erase. Consecrate me and remove all that is within me, which has no place, and fill me up anew. Make me humble, as I stand before You, so I may be found worthy to be in constant conversation and able to strengthen my relationship with You. Help me to put You first, spiritually leaving behind the things of this earth. I am in this world but not of this world. My Father and my God, I trust in You.

18 But to the king of Judah who sent you to inquire of the Lord, you shall say this to him: ‘Thus says the Lord God of Israel, “Regarding the words which you have heard,

19 because your heart was tender (receptive, penitent) and you humbled yourself before the Lord when you heard what I said against this place and against its inhabitants, that they should become a desolation and a curse, and because you have torn your clothes and wept before Me, I have heard you,” declares the Lord.

20 “Therefore, behold, [King Josiah,] I will gather you to your fathers, and you will be taken to your grave in peace, and your eyes will not see all the evil (catastrophe) which I will bring on this place.” So they brought back word to the king.

2 Kings 22:18-20 (AMP)

27 “Because your heart was gentle and penitent and you humbled yourself before God when you heard His words against this place and its inhabitants, and humbled yourself before Me, and tore your clothes and wept before Me, I also have heard you,” declares the Lord.

2 Chronicles 34:27 (AMP)

Put On The New Self

3 Therefore if you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, sharing in His resurrection from the dead], keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

2 Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value].

Colossians 3:1-2 (AMP)

20 Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),

21 Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages).

Amen (So be it)

Monday Morning Prayer (Wk30/2021)

Abba Father, I thank You for waking me this morning and give praise that You have placed another 24 hours before me. Cleanse and prepare me to constantly be a sanctuary for You.

Today, I place myself in Your hands and know that I will have the victory. There is no need to fear, doubt or feel disheartened because You are in full control. Today, as I say David’s prayer from the Book of Chronicles, I understand why we are given Your Word, to apply it to our own lives. I, therefore, replace the names and situation appropriately, and lift it all up to You. My Father and my God, I trust in You.

So the Lord our God handed him over to us [and gave us the victory], and we defeated him and his sons and all his people.

Deuteronomy 2:33 (AMP)

David’s Prayer

10 Therefore David blessed the Lord in the sight of all the assembly and said, “Blessed (praised, adored, and thanked) are You, O Lord God of Israel (Jacob) our father, forever and ever.

11 Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and on the earth; Yours is the dominion and kingdom, O Lord, and You exalt Yourself as head over all.

12 Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all. In Your hand is power and might; and it is in Your hands to make great and to give strength to everyone.

13 Now therefore, our God, we thank You, and praise Your glorious name.

14 “But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to offer as generously as this? For all things come from You, and from Your own hand we have given to You.

15 For we are sojourners before You, and tenants, as all our fathers were; our days on the earth are like a shadow, and there is no hope [of remaining].

16 O Lord our God, all this abundance that we have prepared to build You a house for Your holy Name, it is from Your hand, and is all Your own.

17 I know also, my God, that You test the heart and delight in uprightness and integrity. In the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things. So now with joy I have seen Your people who are present here, make their offerings willingly and freely to You.

18 O Lord, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, our fathers, keep forever such purposes and thoughts in the minds of Your people, and direct their hearts toward You;

19 and give to my son Solomon a perfect heart to keep Your commandments, Your testimonies, and Your statutes, and to do all [that is necessary] to build the temple [for You], for which I have made provision.”

20 Then David said to all the assembly, “Now bless (praise, thank) the Lord your God.” And all the assembly blessed the Lord, the God of their fathers, and bowed down and honored the Lord and to the king [as His earthly representative].

Gospel Song of the Day – Use Me

Use Me – Ron Kenoly (vocalist) – YouTube

(Ron Kenoly – Topic)

If You can use anything Lord You can use me
If You can use anything Lord You can use me
Take my hands, Lord and my feet
Touch my heart, Lord and speak through me
If You can use anything Lord You can use me

If You can use anything Lord You can use me
If You can use anything Lord You can use me
Take my hands, Lord and my feet
Touch my heart, Lord and speak through me
If You can use anything Lord You can use me

Lord, You called Moses from the wilderness and You put a rod in his hand
You used him to lead Your people over to the Promised Land
Lord, I’m willing to trust in You so take my life Lord and use it too
Yes, if You can use anything Lord come on and use me

If You can use anything Lord You can use me
If You can use anything Lord You can use me
Take my hands, Lord and my feet
Touch my heart, Lord and speak through me
If You can use anything Lord You can use me

When David fought Goliath and that mighty giant fell
He proved to his people that God was alive in Israel
Lord, I’m available to You and I’m waiting to be used
Yes I am, Lord if You can use anything Lord
Come on and use me take my hands and my feet
Touch my heart, speak through me

After the multitudes heard the words that Jesus said
He took two fish and five loaves and the multitude was fed
Lord, what I have may not be much but I know it can multiply by Your touch
So if You can use anything Lord come on and use me

If You can use anything Lord You can use me
If You can use anything Lord You can use me
Take my hands, Lord and my feet
Touch my heart, Lord and speak through me
If You can use anything Lord You can use me

If You can use anything Lord You can use me
If You can use anything Lord You can use me
Take my hands, Lord and my feet
Touch my heart, Lord and speak through me
If You can use anything Lord You can use me

Thursday Morning Prayer (Wk29/2021)

Abba Father, I come before You giving all glory, honour, thanks and praise. I thank You for waking me up this morning, ready to face another day. All glory to You God, as I’m still here! Many lay their head to rest and have not seen this new day, so it’s my desire to make the most of what I have.

Today, I stand boldly before Your Throne of grace and pray that every hour will be used productively. You know the plans You have for me so, with all faith, I await a fresh anointing, covering, guidance and protection. May every task I do, every conversation I have and everything I read, be messages from You. May You be revealed in every task I do; I ask to be a true reflection of You. Speak to my mind, spirt, soul and intellect; work through me via Your Holy Spirit. I thank You that You have said in Your Word that Your mercies are new every morning and that my sins are as far from me as the east is from the west. Therefore, I will go about each task unhindered; clothed in Your holy armour and righteousness, and ready for whatever comes my way. Where I am weak, please be strong. The enemy comes to do nothing but to steal, kill and destroy, so please go before me, and make my path focused and straight. My Father and my God, I trust in You.

7 For in a multitude of dreams and in a flood of words there is worthlessness. Rather [reverently] fear God [and worship Him with awe-filled respect, knowing who He is].

Ecclesiastes 5:7 (AMP)

“But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” says the Lord, “I will put My law within them, and I will write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they will be My people.

Jeremiah 31:33 (AMP)

1 I will stand at my guard post and station myself on the tower; And I will keep watch to see what He will say to me, and what answer I will give [as His spokesman] when I am reproved.

2 Then the Lord answered me and said, “Write the vision and engrave it plainly on [clay] tablets so that the one who reads it will run.

3 “For the vision is yet for the appointed [future] time it hurries toward the goal [of fulfillment]; it will not fail. Even though it delays, wait [patiently] for it, because it will certainly come; it will not delay.

Habakkuk 2:1-3 (AMP)

15 But when God, who had chosen me and set me apart before I was born, and called me through His grace, was pleased

16 to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles [as the good news—the way of salvation], I did not immediately consult with anyone [for guidance regarding God’s call and His revelation to me].

Galatians 3:15-16 (AMP)

20 Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),

21 Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages).

So you enter into this building,
You brought your burdens, brought your pain.
I have a message for you today,
That when you leave here, you won’t be the same.

So you tell me you’ve been to your physician,
Look at you there’s been no change in your condition.
Reach out and touch the Master’s Throne,
There’s healing for your mind, your body, and your soul.

God can heal, He can deliver.
He can mend your brokenness.
He has a miracle to fit your needs,
Once you trust Him, you will receive.

God knows about your situation,
But with every test and every trial there is revelation,
That God is able to supply every one of your needs;
He’s here to touch you, heal you, He’ll set you free.

So by the time that you leave this building,
My prayer for everyone in here is that you’ll have your healing.
Once God works a miracle to fit your need,
Go tell the world, what you have received.

God has healed, He has delivered.
He has mended my brokenness.
Gave me a miracle to fit my need;
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, I have received.

I have received.

Wednesday Morning Scripture (Wk29/2021) – Psalm 24

The King of Glory Entering Zion

A Psalm of David

1 The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness of it, the world, and those who dwell in it.

2 For He has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the streams and the rivers.

3 Who may ascend onto the mountain of the Lord? And who may stand in His holy place?

4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to what is false, nor has sworn [oaths] deceitfully.

5 He shall receive a blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

6 This is the generation (description) of those who diligently seek Him and require Him as their greatest need, who seek Your face, even [as did] Jacob. Selah.

7 Lift up your heads, O gates, and be lifted up, ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.

8 Who is the King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle.

9 Lift up your heads, O gates, and lift them up, ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.

10 Who is [He then] this King of glory? The Lord of hosts,

He is the King of glory [who rules over all creation with His heavenly armies]. Selah.

Psalm 24 (AMP)

Tuesday Morning Prayer (Wk29/2021)

Abba Father, I give You all glory, honour, praise and thanks for waking me up this morning to face a brand new day. There are many that laid their head to rest last night that didn’t lift it this morning, so I am grateful.

Today, as David inquired of You, to know You more, I do the same. I will inquire of the Holy Spirit and/or via Your Word. As I read, I pray You will speak to my spirit, so I will be open to receive and recollect, what You tell me today and what You have told me in the past. From the Holy Spirit I pray to receive Your guidance, protection, fullness of joy, liberty, victory, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, counsel, fear of You; because, whatever I need is within You. I realise that all received will enable my spiritual growth and assist in events occurring today and in the future. I ask You to plant it all within me, so that at the required moments I will be able to recall. Today, may I take full advantage of every precious gift which is available for the taking. Today, I pray that You will anoint me from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet, and touch my inner parts. I pray to feel Your presence, which You have said will always be with me; for You will neither leave nor forsake me, either today or in the future. Today, I will be glad. My Father and my God, I trust in You.

4 Then David inquired of the Lord again. And the Lord answered him, “Arise, go down to Keilah, for I will hand over the Philistines to you.”

5 So David and his men went to Keilah and fought the Philistines; he drove away their cattle and struck them with a great slaughter. So David rescued the inhabitants of Keilah.

1 Samuel 23:4-5 (AMP)

David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I pursue this band [of raiders]? Will I overtake them?” And He answered him, “Pursue, for you will certainly overtake them, and you will certainly rescue [the captives].”

1 Samuel 30:8 (AMP)

David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will You hand them over to me?” And the Lord said to David, “Go up, for I will certainly hand them over to you.”

2 Samuel 5:19 (AMP)

Let your character [your moral essence, your inner nature] be free from the love of money [shun greed—be financially ethical], being content with what you have; for He has said, “I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you [assuredly not]!”

Hebrews 13:5 (AMPC)
