Thursday Morning Scripture (WK48/2021) – Psalm 19

The Works and the Word of God.

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.

1 The heavens are telling of the glory of God;

And the expanse [of heaven] is declaring the work of His hands.

2 Day after day pours forth speech, and night after night reveals knowledge.

3 There is no speech, nor are there [spoken] words [from the stars]; their voice is not heard.

4 Yet their voice [in quiet evidence] has gone out through all the earth, their words to the end of the world. In them and in the heavens He has made a tent for the sun,

5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber; it rejoices as a strong man to run his course.

6 The sun’s rising is from one end of the heavens, and its circuit to the other end of them; and there is nothing hidden from its heat.

7 The law of the Lord is perfect (flawless), restoring and refreshing the soul; the statutes of the Lord are reliable and trustworthy, making wise the simple.

8 The precepts of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.

9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; the judgments of the Lord are true, they are righteous altogether.

10 They are more desirable than gold, yes, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb.

11 Moreover, by them Your servant is warned [reminded, illuminated, and instructed]; in keeping them there is great reward.

12 Who can understand his errors or omissions? Acquit me of hidden (unconscious, unintended) faults.

13 Also keep back Your servant from presumptuous (deliberate, willful) sins; let them not rule and have control over me. Then I will be blameless (complete), and I shall be acquitted of great transgression.

14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable and pleasing in Your sight, O Lord, my [firm, immovable] rock and my Redeemer.

Psalm 19:1-14 (AMP)

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – 09.12.21 – My Fire

My Fire is unyielding.
My Fire is all-consuming.
My zeal is unrelenting.
My compassion, always burning.

The fire of My love burns with intensity for you.
Allow the fire of My love to consume you.
Allow the gaze of My eyes to burn away that which confines you.
Allow the joy of My Spirit to burst forth and overwhelm you.

Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm; for love is as strong as death, jealousy as cruel as the grave; its flames are flames of fire, a most vehement flame. Many waters cannot quench love, nor can the floods drown it …

Song of Solomon 8:6-7 (NKJV)

The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.

Zephaniah 3:17 (NKJV)

Prayer and Activation

“Lord Jesus, I receive the fire of Your love for me. Come and encounter me and burn away any ungodly restriction in my life. Lord, I yield to You, have Your way in me. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and empower me to live on fire for You.”

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance- 07.12.21 – Light In The Darkness

I am taking my bride through a refining season, burning up the impurities of her heart with the fiery gaze of my jealous love. I want only MY image to remain! I am toppling the idols of compromise and comfort that have made her stagnant.

Look, as I clothe her in the purest of whites, her dress glistens like the freshly fallen snow when the light shines upon it. I long to pull back the curtain to unveil my Beloved bride so that all may see My glory reflected through her countenance. Her purity will make her attractive to a desperate and hurting world, and I will set her like a lighthouse shining in the darkness so that the lost and broken can run to her to find shelter.

See, I have refined you, though not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.

Isaiah 48:10 (NIV)

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”

Matthew 5:14-16 (ESV)

Tuesday Morning Scripture (Wk48/2021) – Isaiah 60:12-22

A Glorified Zion

12 “For the nation or the kingdom which will not serve you [Jerusalem] shall perish, and the nations [that refuse to serve] shall be utterly ruined.

13 “The glory of Lebanon will come to you, the [1]cypress, the juniper, and the cedar together, to beautify the place of My sanctuary; and I will honor and make the place of My feet glorious.

14 “The sons of those who oppressed you will come bowing down to you [in submission], and all those who despised you and treated you disrespectfully will bow down at the soles of your feet, and they will call you the City of the Lord, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

15 “Whereas you [Jerusalem] have been abandoned and hated with no one passing through, I will make you an object of pride forever, a joy from generation to generation.

16 “You will suck the milk of the [Gentile] nations and suck the breast (abundance) of kings; then you will recognize and know that I, the Lord, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.

17 “Instead of bronze I will bring gold, and instead of iron I will bring silver, and instead of wood, bronze, and instead of stones, iron. And [instead of the tyranny of the present] I will appoint peace as your officers, and righteousness your rulers.

18 “Violence will not be heard again in your land, nor devastation or destruction within your borders; but you will call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise [to God].

19 “The sun will no longer be your light by day, nor shall the bright glow of the moon give light to you, but the Lord will be an everlasting light for you; and your God will be your glory and splendor.

20 “Your sun will no longer set, nor will your moon wane; for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning will be over.

21 “Then all your people will be [uncompromisingly and consistently] righteous; they will possess the land forever, the branch of My planting, the work of My hands, that I may be glorified.

22 “The smallest one will become a thousand (a clan), and the least one a mighty nation.

I, the Lord, will quicken it in its [appointed] time.”
