Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – 14.12.21 – Joy In Season

The Spirit of the Lord says there is joy in season for you! Hear the sound of joyous praises being released on the Earth. For many, this is a time where joy is lacking and not present because of the weight and burden you carry, but the Spirit of the Lord says that He is joy in times of trouble and sorrow, calm and peace in the night, and comfort in the grief and hardships.

Joy is for you; HE is for you! Do not settle for what it felt like in the past but step into the eternal joy I offer and place before you today. Do you not know that I am the founder and creator of joy itself? Find it only with Me. There is an abundance of joy in the season that is being released. Take and grab hold of it! It is for you

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 15:13 (NIV)

My lips will shout for joy, when I sing praises to You; my soul also, which You have redeemed.

Psalm 71:23 (ESV)

Monday Morning Scripture (Wk49/2021) – John 16:1-15

Jesus Warns and Comforts His Disciples

1 “These things I have spoken to you, that you should not be made to stumble.

2 They will put you out of the synagogues; yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service.

3 And these things they will do [1]to you because they have not known the Father nor Me.

4 But these things I have told you, that when [2]the time comes, you may remember that I told you of them. “And these things I did not say to you at the beginning, because I was with you.

The Work of the Holy Spirit

5 “But now I go away to Him who sent Me, and none of you asks Me, ‘Where are You going?’

6 But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart.

7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.

8 And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

9 of sin, because they do not believe in Me;

10 of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more;

11 of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.

12 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.

13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.

15 All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He [3]will take of Mine and declare it to you.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – 13.12.21 – There Is Freedom

Don’t look for me in religion, in the rules and the formulae of man. You won’t find me there.
Don’t look for me in the structures and philosophies of the world; I am not there. Find me right next to you, within you, beside you.

Connect with my spirit, and let me lead you into the freedom that I sent my son to give you.

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

2 Corinthians 3:17 (NIV)

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

Galatians 5:1 (NIV)

Activation:

Welcome the Holy Spirit to consume your life and permit Him to do what he needs to, to free you in every place you are held back.

Sunday Morning Scriptures – Ephesians 2:1-22

Made Alive in Christ

1 And you [He made alive when you] were [spiritually] dead and separated from Him because of your transgressions and sins,

2 in which you once walked. You were following the ways of this world [influenced by this present age], in accordance with the prince of the power of the air (Satan), the spirit who is now at work in the disobedient [the unbelieving, who fight against the purposes of God].

3 Among these [unbelievers] we all once lived in the passions of our flesh [our behavior governed by the sinful self], indulging the desires of [1]human nature [without the Holy Spirit] and [the impulses] of the [sinful] mind. We were, by nature, children [under the sentence] of [God’s] wrath, just like the rest [of mankind].

4 But God, being [so very] rich in mercy, because of His great and wonderful love with which He loved us,

5 even when we were [spiritually] dead and separated from Him because of our sins, He made us [spiritually] alive together with Christ (for by His grace—His undeserved favor and mercy—you have been saved from God’s judgment).

6 And He raised us up together with Him [when we believed], and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, [because we are] in Christ Jesus,

7 [and He did this] so that in the ages to come He might [clearly] show the immeasurable and unsurpassed riches of His grace in [His] kindness toward us in Christ Jesus [by providing for our redemption].

8 For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God;

9 not as a result of [your] works [nor your attempts to keep the Law], so that no one will [be able to] boast or take credit in any way [for his salvation].

10 For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].

11 Therefore, remember that at one time you Gentiles by birth, who are called “Uncircumcision” by those who called themselves “Circumcision,” [itself a mere mark] which is made in the flesh by human hands—

12 remember that at that time you were separated from Christ [excluded from any relationship with Him], alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise [with no share in the sacred Messianic promise and without knowledge of God’s agreements], having no hope [in His promise] and [living] in the world without God.

13 But now [at this very moment] in Christ Jesus you who once were [so very] far away [from God] have been brought near [2]by the blood of Christ.

14 For He Himself is our peace and our bond of unity. He who made both groups[Jews and Gentiles]into one body and broke down the barrier, the dividing wall [of spiritual antagonism between us],

15 by abolishing in His [own crucified] flesh the hostility caused by the Law with its commandments contained in ordinances [which He satisfied]; so that in Himself He might make the two into one new man, thereby establishing peace.

16 And [that He] might reconcile them both [Jew and Gentile, united] in one body to God through the cross, thereby putting to death the hostility.

17 And He came and preached the good news of peace to you [Gentiles] who were far away, and peace to those [Jews] who were near.

18 For it is through Him that we both have a [direct] way of approach in one Spirit to the Father.

19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens [outsiders without rights of citizenship], but you are fellow citizens with the saints (God’s people), and are [members] of God’s household,

20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the [chief] Cornerstone,

21 in whom the whole structure is joined together, and it continues [to increase] growing into a holy temple in the Lord [a sanctuary dedicated, set apart, and sacred to the presence of the Lord].

22 In Him [and in fellowship with one another] you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

Saturday Morning Scripture (Wk48/2021 – 1 Corinthians 1:1-17

Appeal to Unity

1 Paul, called as an apostle (special messenger, personally chosen representative) of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and our brother [1]Sosthenes,

2 To the church of God in Corinth, to those sanctified (set apart, made holy) in Christ Jesus, who are selected and called as saints (God’s people), together with all those who in every place call on and honor the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours:

3 Grace to you and peace [inner calm and spiritual well-being] from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

4 I thank my God always for you because of the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus,

5 so that in everything you were [exceedingly] enriched in Him, in all speech [empowered by the spiritual gifts] and in all knowledge [with insight into the faith].

6 In this way our testimony about Christ was confirmed and established in you,

7 so that you are not lacking in any spiritual gift [which comes from the Holy Spirit], as you eagerly wait [with confident trust] for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ [when He returns].

8 And He will also confirm you to the end [keeping you strong and free of any accusation, so that you will be] blameless and beyond reproach in the day [of the return] of our Lord Jesus Christ.

9 God is faithful [He is reliable, trustworthy and ever true to His promise—He can be depended on], and through Him you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

10 But I urge you, believers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you be in full agreement in what you say, and that there be no divisions or factions among you, but that you be perfectly united in your way of thinking and in your judgment [about matters of the faith].

11 For I have been informed about you, my brothers and sisters, by those of Chloe’s household, that there are quarrels and factions among you.

12 Now I mean this, that each one of you says, “I am [a disciple] of Paul,” or “I am [a disciple] of Apollos,” or “I am [a disciple] of Cephas (Peter),” or “I am [a disciple] of Christ.”

13 Has Christ been divided [into different parts]? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized into the name of Paul? [Certainly not!]

14 I thank God that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius,

15 so that no one would say that you were baptized into my name.

16 Now I also baptized the household of Stephanas; beyond that, I do not know if I baptized anyone else.

17 For Christ did not send me [as an apostle] to baptize, but [commissioned and empowered me] to preach the good news [of salvation]—not with clever and eloquent speech [as an orator], so that the cross of Christ would not be [2]made ineffective [deprived of its saving power].
