As you start the year, start the year with me. This isn’t just any year but this is a year of divine connection and divine revelation with me. This is a year of chasing after those dreams which feel like they have passed you by. This is a year of welcoming new opportunities and new adventures into your day to day life. This is not the time to feel defeated or disappointed.
So rise up my child! Take your stand! For I am decreeing the word hope over your heart and mind this year. Stand up, dust yourself off and go again. It’s time to cast your nets on the other side of the boat and trust me once more for a bigger catch.
“I’m going out to fish,” Simon Peter told them, and they said, “We’ll go with you.” So they went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing. Early in the morning, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples did not realise that it was Jesus. He called out to them, “Friends, haven’t you any fish?” “No,” they answered. He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.
