The Lord says, “Hear me say peace be to the storms of your life and watch the wind and waves of anxiety and watch them subside. Where everything has been unsettled or confusion has been swirling around you, there is peace! Where you have felt out of control and you have feared even for your very life, there is peace!”
Just like Jesus had full authority on the lake of Galilee to stand up and rebuke the weather that even the winds and sea obeyed him, so do you. Speak and release your voice and declare “peace be!” to that which seeks to overwhelm you and watch as the wind and waves subside.
Activation:
In your spirit stand up and begin to release your voice and declare peace into the difficult situations in your life or any place where you have felt anxiety or fear or turmoil internally. Declare “peace be!” to these situations and to your anxiety and fears.
Wait on God to receive his peace from heaven; see what it looks like or feels like and let him show you what peace looks as it is released into those impossible situations.
That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?” He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!”
