My Father and my God, I come before You this morning giving thanks and praise, glory and honour. I ask for forgiveness of my sins, whether they be of thought, word or deed. Heavenly Father, I pray You are The Source for all I am.
Today, I thank You for the beautiful day before me, which is not based on the sun shining or the plans personally made, but because You have not finished with me yet. I thank You for the Manual for Life, Your Word, that has been given to us, Your people. I pray that my spirit will remain steadfast, no matter what comes my way, because as Your promises are outlined for mankind, so many years ago, they are true for us today. You have said in Your Word that Your covenant and lovingkindness is being kept for a thousand generations to those who love You. For that I give You praise and adoration. Help me to keep Your commandments. You have said that the greatest commandment is to love You with all my heart, soul and mind. Teach me to love You with every fibre of my being, as You love me. My Father and my God, I trust in You.
Behold, I am with you and will keep [careful watch over you and guard] you wherever you may go, and I will bring you back to this [promised] land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”
