I come like a flame of fire, burning everything in my path. I come like fire burning hearts and minds. I come like an all-consuming fire to capture my people.
Today welcome me as the consuming fire, welcome me to come and burn everything in your life, let me set ablaze that which is of me and burn up that which is not.
I am a jealous God, a God who sees and longs after the wholeness of who you are. I will not withhold myself from those who embrace me fully.
You have known the baptism by water, but now, my church, come and let me show you the baptism of My Fire.
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.”
