Abba Father, I thank You that I have been able to open my eyes this morning and face another day. I ask You to forgive me of all sins, whether they be of thought, word or deed and go before me in whatever this day holds. I ask for Your divine protection.
Today, I pray for refreshment, to be empowered with Your Holy Spirit and for You to take full control. May I think, speak, walk and go about my tasks with boldness, whilst remaining in Your presence. Where I am weak, please be strong. When I doubt, please give me direction. Whenever I cannot see, light my path. In the place where there is any hate, within my heart or others I may come in contact with, sow the seeds of Your love. Place the right path before me, so I may always remain strengthened and assured. I may face death every day but I thank You that on this day I am still here and You are not done with me yet! My Father and my God, I trust in You.
Even though I walk through the [sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort and console me.Psalm 23:4 (AMP)
For I am convinced [and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt] that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers,
39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the [unlimited] love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.Romans 8:38-39 (AMP)
20 Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),
21 Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages).
Amen (So be it)Hebrews 13:20-21 (AMPC)
