Abba Father, I awake giving You all glory, honour and praise. I take this moment to ask You for forgiveness of sins of thought, word and deed; seen and unseen; and known and unknown. Your Word tells us we only need to ask and we shall receive. Therefore, I thank You for all answered prayer, as You know the intents of my heart. Great is Your mercy towards me, it is new every morning and for all these things, I give You thanks.
Today, I pull on You as The Source needed for this day. I thank You that I am held in the palm of Your hand; no one and no thing can remove me. At times my spirit is willing but the body is weak; please remain within me because then I know I will not be without. I pray You will enable me to move boldly, with confidence, immoveable and in and with Your strength. It is the only way I will be able to carry out the tasks You have ordained for me. Your Word says that You will neither leave nor forsake me. Help me to hold that in the focus of my mind’s eye, and remain empowered. For Your Word, again, comforts me by saying I have not been given a spirit of fear but one of power, love and a sound mind. Therefore, I trust in You.
22 It is because of the Lord’s lovingkindnesses that we are not consumed, Because His [tender] compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning; Great and beyond measure is Your faithfulness.Lamentations 3:22-23 (Amplified Bible)
17 They shall lick the dust like a serpent; Like crawling things of the earth they shall come trembling out of their fortresses and hiding places. They shall turn and come with fear and dread to the Lord our God and they shall be afraid and stand in awe before You [O Lord].
18 Who is a God like You, who forgives wickedness and passes over the rebellious acts of the remnant of His possession? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He [constantly] delights in mercy and lovingkindness.
19 He shall again have compassion on us; He will subdue and tread underfoot our wickedness [destroying sin’s power]. Yes, You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.Micah 7:17-19 (ESV – English Standard Version)
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].2 Timothy 1:7 (Amplified Bible)
20 Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),
21 Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages).
Amen (So be it)Hebrews 13:20-21(AMPC)
