Abba Father, I open my eyes to a new day and give You all glory, praise and honour. I ask for forgiveness of all sins of thought, word and deed; seen and unseen; known and unknown; and thank You for granting it.
Today, I wake up refreshed and ready to face the world renewed. Two paths are before me and I endeavour to take the one You have predestined for me, head on. With all the authority You have blessed me with, I command my spirit to rise up against every lie of the enemy and allow my heart and mind to be receptive to everything You wish to reveal to me and those around. Today, I will be the head and not the tail; above and not beneath. Projects and assignments set for me will follow through to an expected end, set by You, as everything I put my mind and hands to will be marked as a success. You have equipped me with all that I need. Today, I will step out and show up. Today, I will exist with purpose. Today, I realise the fact that I am predestined for greatness, in every aspect of my life. Today, Father God, I trust in You.
28 And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.
29 For those whom He foreknew [and loved and chose beforehand], He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son [and ultimately share in His complete sanctification], so that He would be the firstborn [the most beloved and honored] among many believers.
30 And those whom He predestined, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified [declared free of the guilt of sin]; and those whom He justified, He also glorified [raising them to a heavenly dignity].Romans 8:29-30 (AMP)
4 just as [in His love] He chose us in Christ [actually selected us for Himself as His own] before the foundation of the world, so that we would be holy [that is, consecrated, set apart for Him, purpose-driven] and blameless in His sight. In love
5 He predestined and lovingly planned for us to be adopted to Himself as [His own] children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the kind intention and good pleasure of His will—Ephesians 1:4-5 (AMP)
In Him also we have received an inheritance [a destiny—we were claimed by God as His own], having been predestined (chosen, appointed beforehand) according to the purpose of Him who works everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His will,Ephesians 5:11 (AMP)
20 Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),
21 Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages).
Amen (So be it).Hebrews 13:20-21 (AMPC)
