Righteous Father, I thank You for the brand new day, that You have placed before me. I ask You to forgive me of all sins, whether they be of word, thought or deed; seen or unseen; and great or small. I know that once I have asked for these things, I shall receive it. For that alone, I give You all the glory, honour and praise.
Today, help me as I try to walk in the areas that I have been anointed to; shutting out all else but remaining focused on High. I have been predestined and called out for greater things than what I can see; for that I give You thanks. Shelter me from all things the enemy places before me and be the strength where I am weak. I realise I can do nothing without You and too often do not give You the best of me. Today, I help me as I try to do just that.
For those whom He foreknew [and loved and chose beforehand], He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son [and ultimately share in His complete sanctification], so that He would be the firstborn [the most beloved and honored] among many believers.
