DEVOTIONAL PRAYER

Sunday 16th August 2020

Abba Father, today, as You place this day before me, I request that You prepare me for ALL that I am to receive. My requests for this day are that You will forgive me of all sins; mental, physical and spiritual and where those sins dwelled I ask that the space is filled up with Your Holy Spirit. Today, my God, I ask that You fill my cup to an overflow and go before me into each situation that faces me in the week ahead.

I thank You for making the heavens and the earth for me. The Book of Genesis outlines how You brought them into existence by Your Words…….Such POWER have Your Words that You commanded everything into being by Your Spirit, saying “Let there be…….”. As the earth was dark and formless, I realise that so was I before You called me into Your presence. LORD God have Your way.

Thank You for choosing and not rejecting me!

Isaiah 41:9

I neither need to be afraid or dismayed because You are with me and You are my God. Please uphold me with Your righteous right hand, as You have said You will do

My enemies who are against me, will be ashamed, dishonoured and disgraced; and those who seek to fight me will be reduced to nothing. They will be no more because You have my back.

Thank You that You are the Author and Finisher of my faith, and because of that, I can rest assured that I am guided and protected.

Abba Father, I pray all these things in the Mighty Name of Your Son Yeshua, who came and died on Calvary’s cross and rose on the third day, so that through Him I might have life and have it more abundantly
