Devotional Prayer – Wednesday 17th June 2020

Abba Father, I thank You that, just as You have counted every hair on my head, You also know the amount of breaths that I shall take before I wake. I thank You that, this morning, I have woken in my right mind and ready to face another day. Today, as I go about my daily tasks, I ask that You go ahead of me and keep me secure and assured. I ask that You cover and shield me from all the ploys of the enemy and keep me focussed on High.

Please create in me a clean heart, renew my spirit and grant me the same patience You have blessed me with.

Psalm 51:10

Your Word tells me that if I just humble myself; submit to Your way; pray and seek Your face; I will hear from You. You will forgive me of my sin and I will be restored.

2 Chronicles 7:14

I pray that whatever assignment is ahead, I will be reminded exactly where my help comes from. You are the maker of heaven and earth and I am to place all my concerns, no matter how big or small, at Your feet.

Psalm 121.2

Do not allow me to be conformed to the things of this world, so much is going on all around me and makes me fear. I do not wish to slip back

Exodus 23:2 & Colossians 3:7-8

It is at these moments I am reminded how great You are and how it is a privilege to be Your child. You are clothed with honour and majesty and I just want to worship You, for You are worthy of all the honour and praise.

Psalm 104:1

May my mind never stray and I forget all the wondrous things You have done and also the magnitude of Your power and might. You have shown me great mercy and I want to thank You for the times that I have not realised the things you have protected me from. I know there have been many.

Promise of God – John 3:16 – For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Abba Father, I pray all these things in the Mighty Name of Your Son Yeshua, who came and died on Calvary’s cross and rose on the third day, so that through Him I might have life and have it more abundantly.
