The Pursuit of Wisdom Brings Security

1 My son, if you will receive My words and treasure My commandments within you,

2 So that your ear is attentive to [skillful and godly] wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding [seeking it conscientiously and striving for it eagerly];

3 Yes, if you cry out for insight,
And lift up your voice for understanding;

4 If you seek skillful and godly wisdom as you would silver and search for her as you would hidden treasures;

5 Then you will understand the [reverent] fear of the Lord [that is, worshiping Him and regarding Him as truly awesome] and discover the knowledge of God.

6 For the Lord gives [skillful and godly] wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.

7 He stores away sound wisdom for the righteous [those who are in right standing with Him]; He is a shield to those who walk in integrity [those of honorable character and moral courage],

8 He guards the paths of justice;
And He preserves the way of His saints (believers).

9 Then you will understand righteousness and justice [in every circumstance] and integrity and every good path.

10 For [skillful and godly] wisdom will enter your heart and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Be Wise

My people,

In these days I need a people who are wise, a people who will listen when I speak and allow their discernment to be sharpened. In these days, I need you to be a voice of wisdom. I have storehouses of wisdom that I would release upon the earth but there needs to be people ready to receive and release it. Speak wisdom to your family, to your neighbours, to strangers that you meet. 

Cherish the wisdom I give you by enveloping it in your heart, ready to release it to those who I highlight to you.

Don’t give up when you don’t understand what I say to you. Value My wisdom so much that you are prepared to intercede for insight – to hungrily pursue a deeper comprehension.

The world is searching for wisdom in these days and I would have My people’s voices fill that void.  

Activation: Read through Proverbs 2:1-10 in your favourite translation then spend time reflecting on your relationship with God’s wisdom. Is it something that you value? Next, spend time in prayer asking that God would share His wisdom with you and prepare you to be a voice of wisdom for Him in the earth.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Called Forth

You have spent this past season in a small space, in a place of refuge and renewal. At times you have felt closed in, restricted and claustrophobic. You have questioned My plans and purposes for your life.

For you have felt the pull within your spirit to more – to bigger and wider places. Dear one, know that this has been My purpose for you all along. For within the hidden place I have been cultivating your heart with the fire of My Spirit, so that now you feel My word burning in your very bones.

I have spoken deep truth to you in this time, and have seeded it far within you. The embers of these seeds have been stirring, and now it is time for Me to fan them into flame by My Spirit.

The time of refuge has now become a time of release, as you are called forth into the plans that I have prepared for your refined heart. For it was only in the hidden place that I could ready you for the wide open space that I have prepared for you to walk into.

Take the lessons that you have learned in the secret – the surrender, the reliance, the trust, the obedience. Hold onto them to keep you grounded as the fire of My Word within you readies to ignite. Come now, to the place into which I am calling you forth.

Activation: Spend some time in the spirit reflecting on the season you have been in, and the ways in which God has refined your heart. Now, ask the Spirit to draw your attention to the things within you that are stirring & burning for what is next. Ask Him to reveal them to you in a specific way, and to show you the first step you need to take into where He is calling you forth.

Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a right and steadfast spirit within me.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – We Are Connected

My child, hear this today: We are connected.

I know that lately it has felt like I am far away. You have felt like My voice is silent; like your heart is separated from Mine; like My presence is distant. This is not the truth.

The truth is that you and I are one. 

Even in the times when I do not feel as close as you would like, you must hold onto this truth. For you are empowered by My Spirit! You live not by the flesh but by My Spirit. 

We are one – you and I – and no matter how you may feel, hold onto this powerful truth. My child, we are connected!

Activation: First, let go of any doubts or disappointments you have been feeling about God’s closeness to you. Share your heart with Him and repent where needed. Then, declare aloud, “I am connected to the Spirit of God!” Say this as many times as it takes until you feel the weight of it within yourself. Then, ask the Lord for a deeper awareness of His Spirit to grow within you and a fresh security in being Spirit-led.

14 “The mature children of God are those who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit.

15 And you did not receive the “spirit of religious duty,” leading you back into the fear of never being good enough. But you have received the “Spirit of full acceptance,” enfolding you into the family of God. And you will never feel orphaned, for as He rises up within us, our spirits join Him in saying the words of tender affection, “Beloved Father!”

16 For the Holy Spirit makes God’s Fatherhood real to us as He whispers into our innermost being, “You are God’s beloved child!””

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – History

Today, my child, I want you to reflect upon your history with Me. Remember the ups as well as the downs. There were days when you were overcome by gratitude and joy but just as many days when you were downcast and heartbroken. Each of these days are precious to Me as they collate the sum of our history together.

There is power in our shared history.

In the ups and downs you have been equipped and empowered for what is ahead. You have learned to trust Me; you have learned whose voice you must listen to. The story of our shared history has power so today, reflect upon that history. Let it encourage and embolden you, for I celebrate our shared history. I celebrate who you have become both in the moments of light-hearted fun and crushing pain which we have shared.

I am invested in this journey with you; I am with you each step of the way.

So, reflect today on all that we have journeyed through together and be encouraged as you look ahead to the days set before you.

Activation: Take some time today to look back over your life. As you remember and reflect upon your history with God, ask Him to highlight how He has equipped and transformed you over the years. Celebrate with Him where He has brought you through and where you have experienced His faithful love. Ask Him today what He celebrates about you and your shared history with Him.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Rebuild

“Do not build in vain,” says the Lord.

“Houses built on sand will be washed away. Therefore, establish new foundations, build new walls, make  a new covering for your head, that will not be shaken in the high tides and gusting winds of this season. Hear this decree: I make my home among the Righteous.”

“The righteous are My people,” says the Lord, “who build according to My ways, My decrees and a covenant with Me. But you do not know them! You have forgotten them, pushed them aside to build your high towers with loyalties to this world and its ways.

Houses built on sand will be washed away.

Hear the call today to rebuild and to pull down the towers. Rebuild according to My laws, My ways, My heart and My Kingdom, for My ways are not your ways.”

“I build hearts of flesh not of stone,” says the Lord. “I build people not structures; I operate in life not death. Today, rebuild, re-establish, rededicate!”

Activation: Sit with the Lord today and ask Him if there are areas in your life that need to be handed over to Him and rebuilt. Spend time processing this with Him, asking for direction and fresh revelation.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Personal Trainer

My child, 

I have not left you to journey this life on your own. I have given you My Holy Spirit living in you. He is there to empower, lead, and guide you through the trials of life. He is your comforter and confidant. He is there to encourage you to persevere when things get tough. He will illuminate My written word to you and bring you into understanding the truth which brings freedom.

Do not forget to speak to Him and ask Him for help. He is your own Personal Trainer!

Ask Him about your training programme, what to study, what to pray, when to fast, and when to rest in My presence. Yes, even athletes have periods of rest to allow their bodies to recuperate from their physical training. In the same way listen to My Holy Spirit who will guide you into resting in My presence.

Activation: Sit with Holy Spirit and ask Him to reveal the training programme He has for you for the next month. Write it down and ask for His help to keep to it. Ask Him if there are things you are doing that are taking you away from His presence, and you need to give up, or things you need to include in your routine to take you into a deeper relationship with Him. Ask Him to teach you how to rest in Him.

26 But the [a]Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will help you remember everything that I have told you.

7 Do not waste time arguing over godless ideas and old wives’ tales. Instead, train yourself to be godly.

8 “Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come.”
