Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Wild Opportunity

The Spirit of the Lord says, “I am about the business of breaking My people out from walls of confinement. Where you have been imprisoned by fear, disobedience and inactivity, I am calling you into freedom. Where there was domesticity and smallness there will be a wildness and a spaciousness. You will spread out to the left and to the right. I am taking you out of confinement into freedom and opportunity.

I’ve heard your cries just like I heard the cries of My people in Egypt. The time is now to pull you out of the slavery of religion. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

Just as My people were led from the cruel confinement of Egypt into the wild freedom of the wilderness, I am taking you out from systems of control into rhythms of divine provision and instruction. Where you see wilderness, I see wild opportunity. Where you may see the desolation of what is, I will show you joy and freedom in the new. This wilderness season will look uncomfortable because it requires a deepening of daily dependency and reliance on Me.”

Activation: As you stay in intimacy with the Lord, ask him to show you where you have been confined and where you’ve accepted a small mindset that has limited what he could do in your life. Repent from partnering with any spirit of religion and ask Holy Spirit to show you how to go beyond your limits, old ways, and formulas through embracing deeper dependency and reliance on Him.

“For you will spread out to the right and to the left;
And your descendants will take possession of nations
And will inhabit deserted cities.

Wednesday Morning Scripture – Galatians 5

Walk by the Spirit

1 It was for this freedom that Christ set us free [completely liberating us]; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery [which you once removed].

Notice, it is I, Paul, who tells you that if you receive circumcision [as a supposed requirement of salvation], Christ will be of no benefit to you [for you will lack the faith in Christ that is necessary for salvation]

Once more I solemnly affirm to every man who receives circumcision [as a supposed requirement of salvation], that he is under obligation and required to keep the whole Law.

You have been severed from Christ, if you seek to be [a]justified [that is, declared free of the guilt of sin and its penalty, and placed in right standing with God] through the Law; you have fallen from grace [for you have lost your grasp on God’s unmerited favor and blessing]

For we [not relying on the Law but] through the [strength and power of the Holy] Spirit, by faith, are waiting [confidently] for the hope of righteousness [the completion of our salvation]

For [if we are] in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but only faith activated and expressed and working through love.

You were running [the race] well; who has interfered and prevented you from obeying the truth?

This [deceptive] persuasion is not from Him who called you [to freedom in Christ]

A little [b]leaven [a slight inclination to error, or a few false teachers] leavens the whole batch [it perverts the concept of faith and misleads the church]

10 I have confidence in you in the Lord that you will adopt no other view [contrary to mine on the matter]; but the one who is disturbing you, whoever he is, will have to bear the penalty.

11 But as for me, [c]brothers, if I am still preaching circumcision [as I had done before I met Christ; and as [d]some accuse me of doing now, as necessary for salvation], why am I still being persecuted [by Jews]? In that case the stumbling block of the cross [to unbelieving Jews] has been abolished.

12 I wish that those who are troubling you [by teaching that circumcision is necessary for salvation] would even [go all the way and] castrate themselves!

13 For you, my brothers, were called to freedom; only do not let your freedom become an opportunity for the [e]sinful nature (worldliness, selfishness), but through [f]love serve and seek the best for one another.

14 For the whole Law [concerning human relationships] is fulfilled in one precept, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself [that is, you shall have an unselfish concern for others and do things for their benefit].”

15 But if you bite and devour one another [in bickering and strife], watch out that you [along with your entire fellowship] are not consumed by one another.

16 But I say, walk habitually in the [Holy] Spirit [seek Him and be responsive to His guidance], and then you will certainly not carry out the desire of the [g]sinful nature [which responds impulsively without regard for God and His precepts]

17 For the sinful nature has its desire which is opposed to the Spirit, and the [desire of the] Spirit opposes the [h]sinful nature; for these [two, the sinful nature and the Spirit] are in direct opposition to each other [continually in conflict], so that you [as believers] do not [always] do whatever [good things] you want to do.

18 But if you are guided and led by the Spirit, you are not subject to the Law.

19 Now the practices of the [i]sinful nature are clearly evident: they are sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality (total irresponsibility, lack of self-control)

20 [j]idolatry, [k]sorcery, hostility, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions [that promote heresies]

21 envy, drunkenness, riotous behavior, and other things like these. I warn you beforehand, just as I did previously, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

23 gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.

24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the [l]sinful nature together with its passions and appetites.

25 If we [claim to] live by the [Holy] Spirit, we must also walk by the Spirit [with personal integrity, godly character, and moral courage—our conduct empowered by the Holy Spirit]

26 We must not become conceited, challenging or provoking one another, envying one another.

[b] Galatians 5:9 Leaven (yeasty dough) represents the man-made tradition and false teachings that obscure the truth regarding salvation through personal belief and faith in Christ.

[c] Galatians 5:11 Lit brethren.

[d] Galatians 5:11 Paul’s opponents in Galatia were trying to support their own arguments for circumcision by claiming that Paul was actually in favor of it. They probably knew that he had circumcised Timothy (Acts 16:3) and were taking advantage of that fact.

[f] Galatians 5:13 The key to understanding this and other statements about love is to know that this love (the Greek word agape) is not so much a matter of emotion as it is of doing things for the benefit of another person, that is, having an unselfish concern for another and a willingness to seek the best for another.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – The Light is Green

The Lord says to you today,

“My beloved, It’s time for you to Go! Don’t look back or stay sitting at the red light. Move forward with the green light I have given you.

There’s a new wind that I am bringing to move you forward in the right direction, that will feel like a breeze, gliding you into the narrow way, the straight and perfect path that I have you on.

I know it has felt like you have been on the amber light for so long. Pausing, waiting, growing, listening to and for My voice and trying to make sense of what I have been doing. Now you will begin to see and understand as you move forward into the plans I have for you. I want you to SEE the acceleration of the new season, FEEL the acceleration and GO with it!  Don’t try to halt it. Go forward into it even if it feels scary or you feel unsure.

GO with the plans I have given you and don’t look back!

I have given you all you need to go in this new direction. I want you to trust and believe that you are equipped and that you don’t need to have all the answers.  I want you to feel free to go into the new plans and purposes that I have placed within you. Trust me, move with me and GO!”

Activation: If you are unsure about the plans you are to step forward in, spend some time with the Lord and ask Him what is the first step you need to make to ‘go’. Write down the steps and pray:

Lord, thank you that you have equipped me to go forward into the plans and purposes you have given me. I ask you to take the uncertainty, fear and hesitation and fill me with faith.  I ask you to help me to move forward in boldness, courage and with great joy and to see, hear, sense and feel the movement of this season so that I do not stay stagnant. Help me to go on the new journey  you have me on,  in partnership with you, for the building of your kingdom. In Jesus name, Amen.

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – A Time to Tear

The Lord says, “This is a season when I am tearing apart all that needs to be torn. In the ripping, I am tearing away kingdoms from those like Saul, the disobedient ones who chose to act upon their own heart’s desires rather than from those that originate from My heart – the heart of Adonai. I will no longer tolerate the insincere, those who seek self-promotion, or those wanting to build their own kingdoms and legacies. For My Name is above all names and I will be the One who receives all the Glory.

For this reason, I am searching hearts and focusing on those whose hearts are pure and whose hands are clean. I seek those whose eyes and ears are attuned to My voice, willing to surrender their own agendas and fully take up My call. These are those who will build and lead according to My plans and designs without any deviation or compromise and who are committed to a lifestyle of oneness with Me in all things. And for those whose hearts and desires are fully knitted together with Mine, I will reward.”

Activation: What are you currently building for your own glory or the glory of man rather than the glory of God?

Using Psalm 139:23-24 (ESV) as a prayer, invite Holy Spirit to search your heart and examine the foundations of everything that you are currently building and how you are currently leading.

“Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me. Please identify for me where my desires to build or lead are rooted in the glory of man rather than Your glory and lead me in the way everlasting!”

[a] Ecclesiastes 3:7 This may be a reference to the practice of tearing one’s clothes as a sign of mourning which began early among the Hebrews. Cf Gen 37:29. There are many references to this in the Old Testament. Solomon was no doubt familiar with this practice as his own father engaged in it with his contemporaries. Cf 2 Sam 3:31.

27 As Samuel turned to go [away], Saul grabbed the hem of his robe [to stop him], and it tore.

28 So Samuel said to him, “The LORD has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today and has given it to your neighbor, who is better than you.

1 The earth [b]is the LORD’s, and the fullness of it, the world, and those who dwell in it.

2 For He has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the streams and the rivers.

3 Who may ascend onto the [c]mountain of the LORD? And who may stand in His holy place?

4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to what is false, nor has sworn [oaths] deceitfully.

5 He shall receive a blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

6 This is the generation (description) of those who diligently seek Him and require Him as their greatest need, who seek Your face, even [as did] Jacob. Selah.

7 Lift up your heads, O gates, and be lifted up, ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.

8 Who is the King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, The LORD mighty in battle.

9 Lift up your heads, O gates, and lift them up, ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.

10 Who is [He then] this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory [who rules over all creation with His heavenly armies]. Selah.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – No Compromise

“There is a roar in the heavenlies. It’s the sound of many waters, but it’s also the roar of the Lion of Judah. As I gather My people, this roar is the sound of war and victory. Can you hear it? Can you recognise it?

It’s your time to choose whether to be with Me or against Me, My sons and daughters. No more in between. No more “in name only Christians.” Are you ready to give up what is comfortable or what I ask you to leave behind? Are you ready to be trained as highly skilled warriors? Who will be on My side? I give you the freedom to choose so, choose wisely, and do so wholeheartedly” says the Lord.

Activation: Ask Holy Spirit where you have been lukewarm and if/where you are afraid of letting go of something that has become an idol. When He reveals this to you, repent for partnering with fear and idolatry. And, if you are ready, consecrate again to God and renew your unwavering “yes” to Him.

        The Fourfold Hallelujah

After these [a]things I heard something like the great and mighty shout of a vast multitude in heaven, [b]exclaiming,

Friday Morning Scripture – Revelation 19:1-16

        The Fourfold Hallelujah

        1 After these [1]things I heard something like the great and mighty shout of a vast multitude in heaven, [2]exclaiming, Hallelujah! Salvation and glory (splendor, majesty) and power (dominion, might) belong to our God;

2 because His judgments are true and righteous. He has judged [convicted and pronounced sentence on] the great prostitute (idolatress) who was corrupting and ruining and poisoning the earth with her adultery (idolatry), and He has imposed the penalty for the blood of His bond-servants [3]on her.”

3 And a second time they said, “Hallelujah! Her smoke shall ascend forever and ever.”

4 Then the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures also fell down and worshiped God who sits on the throne, saying, “Amen. Hallelujah (praise the Lord)!”

5 Then from the throne there came a voice, saying,

“Praise our God, all you bond-servants of His, you who fear Him, the small (common) and the great (distinguished).”

        Marriage of the Lamb

6 Then I heard something like the shout of a vast multitude, and like the boom of many pounding waves, and like the roar of mighty peals of thunder, saying,

“Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, [the Omnipotent, the Ruler of all] reigns.

7 Let us rejoice and shout for joy! Let us give Him glory and honor, for the marriage of the Lamb has come [at last] and His bride (the redeemed) has prepared herself.”

8 She has been permitted to dress in fine linen, dazzling white and clean—for the fine linen signifies the righteous acts of the saints [the ethical conduct, personal integrity, moral courage, and godly character of believers].

9 Then the angel said to me, “Write, ‘[4]Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the [5]Lamb.’” And he said to me [further], “These are the true and exact words of God.”

10 Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he [stopped me and] said to me, “You must not do that; I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers and sisters who have and hold the testimony of Jesus. Worship God [alone]. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy [His life and teaching are the heart of prophecy].”The Coming of Christ the Conqueror

11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who was riding it is called Faithful and True (trustworthy, loyal, incorruptible, steady), and in righteousness He judges and wages war [on the rebellious nations].

12 His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many royal crowns; and He has a name inscribed [on Him] which no one knows or understands except Himself.

13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in [6]blood, and His name is called The Word of God.

14 And the armies of heaven, dressed in fine linen, [dazzling] white and clean, followed Him on white horses.

15 From His mouth comes a sharp sword (His word) with which He may strike down the nations, and He will [7]rule them with a rod of iron; and He will tread the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty [in judgment of the rebellious world].

16 And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name inscribed, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Your Plans or Mine

The Lord of Heaven says, “Beloved, let’s take a look at your calendar together and examine what you have planned for today, this week, this month, and even this year. And now I ask the question, whose plans are they? Are they yours or are they mine?

The plans that you have in your calendar may be good, but they are not mine. So, now I ask you, will you surrender your plans to me in order to align with My purposes and timings?

Will you set aside your ‘small ambitions’ for My call as I release the shout of ‘Kairos!’ to synchronize you to My timings?

This is a call to pay attention to this moment.

Stop and listen as I speak.

I am decreeing and releasing My plans and sharing them with My children because I don’t want you to be directionless, doing good things, but not advancing the Kingdom.

And like the men of Issachar, I want you to hear from Me and know what should be done. So, let us work together as co-laborers! Put your hand to My plough, and without looking back, walk forward with Me.” Says the Lord.

        Activation:

        Stop. Breathe.

As you breathe in (Yah) and out (weh) be aware that this speaks the name of Yahweh. Let His breath in your lungs calm your spirit.

In this calm, begin to share your plans with God and ask Him to highlight where your plans and His do not match. Allow Him to re-organise your days and re-align them according to His plan and purpose.

This may be as simple as asking Holy Spirit to prompt you to pray for folk as you work, walk into town, or go shopping. As the ‘Parable of the Ten Talents’ shows us, these smaller activities help you to learn to be faithful in the little things, and as you do, He will grow you and trust you with more.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – The Divine Exchange

My Beloved, I am in the business of transformation. I am at work in you and around you. I can provide new perspectives, new hope, and a new future. My ancient Word spoken through the Prophet Isaiah remains steadfast and true as I say to you, all who mourn, that I will give you a crown of beauty instead of ashes, I will give you the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a mantel of praise instead of despair. And in your righteousness, you will be like great oak trees planted by Me, the LORD, for My own glory.

Therefore, in your pain, let Me comfort you, let Me heal you, let Me restore you, and let Me plant you in My garden. Let Me crown you with My beauty. Let Me anoint you with My oil of gladness. And let Me clothe you with new garments as I adorn you with My mantle of praise.

And now, with restored joy, you can exalt Me; with renewed hope, you can praise Me. Your praise will rise up to the heavens, and My Glory will be established over you and on the earth.  My Beloved child, I love you, I care deeply for you, and I am pleased with you! So trust in Me and trust in My Word.

        Activation:

Bring all that is in your heart to the Lord and let Him transform it: ashes to beauty, mourning to gladness, despair to praise. This is the divine exchange. Be willing to let go as you trust Him to transform your areas of pain into something beautiful and joy-filled. Know that in Christ Jesus, you are righteous before Him and that He dearly loves you.  Allow the Holy Spirit to confirm this to you in His unique way as you sit in this place of revealed truth. See yourself as an Oak Tree that is planted by Him and deeply rooted in Him – for His joy and for His glory.

To grant to those who mourn in Zion the following:
        To give them a
[a]turban instead of dust [on their heads, a sign of mourning],
The oil of joy instead of mourning,
        The garment
[expressive] of praise instead of a disheartened spirit.
So they will be called the trees of righteousness
[strong and magnificent, distinguished for integrity, justice, and right standing with God],
The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.

        Isaiah 61:3 (AMP)

        Footnotes

[a] Isaiah 61:3 In the Hebrew there is a kind of wordplay here as “turban” (Heb pe’er) and dust (epher) have the same consonants and similar vowels.

And the young men and old, together,
For I will turn their mourning into joy
