Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Embrace the Sunset Part 1: Reflect the Sunset

The Lord says, “My people often feel anxious when I lead them into something new. I want them to embrace change as something glorious, like a sunset. When you observe a sunset, you see a myriad of colours painting the sky.

Depending on your location, the colors may form a tapestry of bright pinks and purples, or they may manifest as muted pastels of peach and lavender. In some places, the sky might appear as if it’s on fire, blazing with oranges, reds, and yellows.

Regardless of where you are, people watch in awe at this magnificent display of beauty, as the sky signals the end of the day, knowing that after the night, it will give way to a new day. When the sun sets, the day is over and cannot be reclaimed.

So, here is My request to you: Embrace the sunset. As I close the door on what is finished, let it be finished, and do not look back with a longing to hold on to it. The day is done. Enjoy the beauty of its conclusion and all the lessons and truths it holds. Allow it to be complete. Just as you do with the sunset, anticipate the dawning of a new day and all that it brings—opportunities to meet and encounter Me in new ways.”

Activation:

This is a three-part activation that will occur over the next three days, allowing you time to dive deeply into each activation and thoroughly partner with God as you transition from the old to the new with Him.

Day One: Reflect and Connect with a Sunset Walk

Take a “Sunset Walk” to simply enjoy the beauty of the sunset. Allow the changing landscape and skies to inspire reflection and deepen your connection with the Lord. As you watch the sunset, reflect on the scripture Psalm 19:1: “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the skies announce what His hands have made.”

Relax as you take in the sunset, breathing deeply and letting the stress of the day fade away along with the setting sun. Pay close attention to how the sky transforms, noting the colors that emerge. Observe your feelings, how your body is responding, and any emotional reactions or spiritual insights that arise during this time. Be sure to journal your observations.

Connection: Artists appreciate it when you engage with them about their work. Begin a conversation with the Lord, discussing His glorious creations and the magnificent display in the sky as the sun sets. Talk to Him about the sunset as you would to a friend. Enjoy the moment!

The Works and the Word of God

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David

The heavens are telling of the glory of God;
And the expanse
[of heaven] is declaring the work of His hands.

Psalm 19:1 (AMP)

23 They are new every morning;
Great and beyond measure is Your faithfulness.

24 “The Lord is my portion and my inheritance,” says my soul;
“Therefore I have hope in Him and wait expectantly for Him.”

25 The Lord is good to those who wait [confidently] for Him,
To those who seek Him
[on the authority of God’s word].

When he opens no one will shut,
When he shuts no one will open.

Monday Morning Scripture – Psalm 19

The Works and the Word of God

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David

1 The heavens are telling of the glory of God;
And the expanse
[of heaven] is declaring the work of His hands.

Day after day pours forth speech,
And night after night reveals knowledge.

There is no speech, nor are there [spoken] words [from the stars];
Their voice is not heard.

Yet their voice [in quiet evidence] has gone out through all the earth,
Their words to the end of the world.
In them and in the heavens He has made a tent for the sun,

Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber;
It rejoices as a strong man to run his course.

The sun’s rising is from one end of the heavens,
And its circuit to the other end of them;
And there is nothing hidden from its heat.

The law of the Lord is perfect (flawless), restoring and refreshing the soul;
The statutes of the Lord are reliable andtrustworthy, making wise the simple.
The precepts of the LORD are right, bringing joy to the heart;
The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.

The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever;
The judgments of the LORD are true, they are righteous altogether.

10 They are more desirable than gold, yes, than much fine gold;
Sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb.

11 Moreover, by them Your servant is warned [reminded, illuminated, and instructed];
In keeping them there is great reward.

12 Who can understand his errors or omissions? Acquit me of hidden (unconscious, unintended) faults.

13 Also keep back Your servant from presumptuous (deliberate, willful) sins;
Let them not rule and have control over me.
Then I will be blameless
(complete),
And I shall be acquitted of great transgression.

14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable and pleasing in Your sight,
O LORD, my
[firm, immovable] rock and my Redeemer.

Psalm 19:1-14 (AMP)

Monday Morning Scripture – Isaiah 22

The Valley of Vision

1 The [mournful, inspired] oracle ([a]a burden to be carried) concerning the Valley of Vision:

What is the matter with you now, that you have all gone up to the housetops,

You [Jerusalem] who were full of noise,
A tumultuous city, a joyous and exuberant city;
Your slain were not slain
[in a glorious death] with the sword,
Nor did they die in battle.

All your leaders have fled together [with your king],
And have been captured without the bow
[which they had thrown away];
All of you who were found were taken captive together,
Though they had fled far away.

Therefore I say, “Look away from me;
Let me weep bitterly.
Do not try to comfort me over the destruction of the daughter of my people.”

For the Lord GOD of hosts has a day of panic and of tumult, of trampling, of confusion
In the Valley of Vision,
A
[day of] breaking down walls
And a crying [for help] to the mountain.

Elam took up the quiver
With the chariots, infantry and horsemen;
And Kir uncovered the shield.

And it came to pass that your choicest valleys were full of chariots,
And the horsemen took their fixed positions
[in an offensive array] at the gate [of Jerusalem].

Then God removed the [protective] covering of Judah;
And in that day you looked to the weapons of the House of the Forest
(Solomon’s armory).

You saw that the breaches
In the wall of the City of David
[the citadel of Zion] were many;
You collected
[within the city’s walls] the waters of the Lower Pool (Siloam).

10 Then you counted the houses of Jerusalem
And you tore down the houses
[to get materials] to fortify the city wall [by extending it].

11 You also made a reservoir between the two walls
For the waters of the
 [b]Old Pool,
But you did not look to its Maker,
Nor did you recognize Him who planned it long ago.

12 Therefore in that day the Lord GOD of hosts called you to weeping, to mourning,
To shaving the head and to wearing sackcloth
[in humiliation].

13 Instead, there is joy and jubilation,
Killing of oxen and slaughtering of sheep,
Eating meat and drinking wine, saying,
“Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we may die.”

14 But the LORD of hosts revealed Himself in my ears,
“This sin absolutely will not be forgiven you
Until you die,” says the Lord GOD of hosts.

15 For the Lord GOD of hosts says this, “Go to this [contemptible] steward,
To
 [c]Shebna, who is in charge of the royal household [but is building himself a tomb worthy of a king, and say to him],

16 ‘What business do you have here?
And whom do you have here,
That you have hewn out a tomb here for yourself,
You who hew a sepulcher on the height,
You who carve a resting place for yourself in the rock?

17 ‘Listen carefully, the LORD is about to hurl you away violently, O man;
And He is about to grasp you firmly

18 And roll you up tightly like a ball
And toss you into a vast country;
There you will die
And there your splendid chariots will be,
You shame of your master’s house.’

19 “I will depose you from your office,
And you will be pulled down from your position
[of importance].

20 “Then it will come to pass in that day
That I will summon My servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah.

21 “And I will clothe him with your tunic [of distinction]
And tie your sash securely around him.
I will entrust him with your authority;
He will become a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and to the house of Judah.

22 “Then I will set on his shoulder the key of the house of David;
When he opens no one will shut,
When he shuts no one will open.

23 “I will drive him like a peg in a firm place,
And he will become a throne of honor and glory to his father’s house.

24 “So they will hang on him all the honor and glory [the complete responsibility] of his father’s house, offspring and issue [of the family, high and low], all the least of the articles, from the bowls to all the jars.

25 In that day,” declares the LORD of hosts, “the peg (Eliakim) that was driven into the firm place will give way; it will even break off and fall, and the burden hanging on it will be cut off, for the LORD has spoken.”

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Far from Shore

The Spirit of the Lord says, “Come away with Me and let’s go on an adventure to explore the end of My love for you. You will never find it, for the adventure will last for all eternity.

Even when you feel lost, thinking that surely My love cannot reach you and you’ve lost sight of everything comforting, you’ll discover that it is My all-sustaining love that keeps you afloat. When trouble comes, do not be anxious; anxious thoughts will toss you, leaving you off balance. Trust in Me and My infinite love that holds you and rescues you.

I will always rescue you. I will come for you, even if you are far from shore.

Application:

Take time today to reflect on the infinite and sustaining love of God. Even when life feels overwhelming, His love is what carries you through. You may not know how or when He will show up, but His promise is clear—He will always come for you. When anxious thoughts arise, replace them with a declaration of trust in God’s love. Whether you’re facing calm waters or storms in life, hold onto this truth: His love never fails, never ends, and never gives up on you. Lean into Him, and let His love steady you.

38 For I am convinced [and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt] that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present  and  threatening, nor things to come, nor powers,

39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the [unlimited] love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:38-39 (AMP)

17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through your faith. And may you, having been [deeply] rooted and [securely] grounded in love,

18 be fully capable of comprehending with all the saints (God’s people) the width and length and height and depth of His love [fully experiencing that amazing, endless love]

19 and [that you may come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you may be filled up [throughout your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you may have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself].

Friday Morning Scripture – Romans 8

Escape from Bondage

1 Therefore there is now no condemnation [no guilty verdict, no punishment] for those who are in Christ Jesus [who believe in Him as personal Lord and Savior]

For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has set you free from the law of sin and of death.

For what the Law could not do [that is, overcome sin and remove its penalty, its power] being weakened by the flesh [man’s nature without the Holy Spirit], God did: He sent His own Son in the likeness of sinful man as an offering for sin. And He condemned sin in the flesh [subdued it and overcame it in the person of His own Son]

so that the [righteous and just] requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us who do not live our lives in the ways of the flesh [guided by worldliness and our sinful nature], but [live our lives] in the ways of the Spirit [guided by His power]

For those who are living according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh [which gratify the body], but those who are living according to the Spirit, [set their minds on] the things of the Spirit [His will and purpose]

Now the mind of the flesh is death [both now and forever—because it pursues sin]; but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace [the spiritual well-being that comes from walking with God—both now and forever]

the mind of the flesh [with its sinful pursuits] is actively hostile to God. It does not submit itself to God’s law, since it cannot,

and those who are in the flesh [living a life that caters to sinful appetites and impulses] cannot please God.

However, you are not [living] in the flesh [controlled by the sinful nature] but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God lives in you [directing and guiding you]. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him [and is not a child of God]

10 If Christ lives in you, though your [natural] body is dead because of sin, your spirit is alive because of righteousness [which He provides]

11 And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in you.

12 So then, [a]brothers and sisters, we have an obligation, but not to our flesh [our human nature, our worldliness, our sinful capacity], to live according to the [impulses of the] flesh [our nature without the Holy Spirit]—

13 for if you are living according to the [impulses of the] flesh, you are going to die. But if [you are living] by the [power of the Holy] Spirit you are habitually putting to death the sinful deeds of the body, you will [really] live forever

14 For all who are allowing themselves tobe led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

15 For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading again to fear [of God’s judgment], but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons [the Spirit producing sonship] by which we [joyfully] cry, “[b]Abba! Father!”

16 The Spirit Himself testifies andconfirms together with our spirit [assuring us] that we [believers] are children of God.

17 And if [we are His] children, [then we are His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His spiritual blessing and inheritance], if indeed we share in His suffering so that we may also share in His glory.

18 For I consider [from the standpoint of faith] that the sufferings of the present life are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us!

19 For [even the whole] creation [all nature] waits eagerly for the children of God to be revealed.

20 For the creation was subjected to frustration and futility, not willingly [because of some intentional fault on its part], but by the will of Him who subjected it, in hope

21 that the creation itself will also be freed from its bondage to decay [and gain entrance] into the glorious freedom of the children of God.

22 For we know that the whole creation has been moaning together as in the pains of childbirth until now.

23 And not only this, but we too, who have the first fruits of the Spirit [a joyful indication of the blessings to come], even we groan inwardly, as we wait eagerly for [the sign of] our adoption as sons—the redemption and transformation of our body [at the resurrection].

24 For in this hope we were saved [by faith]. But hope [the object of] which is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he already sees?

25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait eagerly for it with patience and composure.

Our Victory in Christ

26 In the same way the Spirit [comes to us and] helps us in our weakness. We do not know what prayer to offer or how to offer it as we should, but the Spirit Himself [knows our need and at the right time] intercedes on our behalf with sighs and groanings too deep for words.

27 And He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because the Spirit intercedes [before God] on behalf of [c]God’s people in accordance with God’s will.

28 And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.

29 For those whom He foreknew [and loved and chose beforehand], He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son [and ultimately share in His complete sanctification], so that He would be the firstborn [the most beloved and honored] among many believers.

30 And those whom He predestined, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified [declared free of the guilt of sin]; and those whom He justified, He also glorified [raising them to a heavenly dignity].

31 What then shall we say to all these things? If God is for us, who can be [successful] against us?

32 He who did not spare [even] His own Son, but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?

33 Who will bring any charge against God’s elect (His chosen ones)? It is God who justifies us [declaring us blameless and putting us in a right relationship with Himself]

34 Who is the one who condemns us? Christ Jesus is the One who died [to pay our penalty], and more than that, who was raised [from the dead], and who is at the right hand of God interceding [with the Father] for us.

35 Who shall ever separate us from the love of [d]Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?

36 Just as it is written and forever remains written,

“FOR YOUR SAKE WE ARE PUT TO DEATH ALL DAY LONG;
WE ARE REGARDED AS SHEEP FOR THE SLAUGHTER.”

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]

Friday Morning Scripture – Ephesians 3

Paul’s Stewardship

1 For this reason [because I preach that you and believing Jews are joint heirs] I, Paul, am the prisoner of Christ Jesus on behalf of you Gentiles—

assuming that you have heard of the stewardship of God’s grace that was entrusted to me [to share with you] for your benefit;

and that by [divine] revelation the mystery was made known to me, as I have already written in brief.

By referring to this, when you read it you can understand my insight into the mystery of Christ,

which in other generations was not disclosed to mankind, as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets by the [Holy] Spirit;

6 [it is this:] that the Gentiles are now joint heirs [with the Jews] and members of the same body, and joint partakers [sharing] in the [same divine] promise in Christ Jesus through [their faith in] the good news [of salvation]

Of this [gospel] I was made a minister by the gift of God’s grace given me through the working of His power.

To me, [though I am] the very least of all the saints (God’s people), this grace [which is undeserved] was graciously given, to proclaim to the Gentiles the good news of the incomprehensible riches of Christ [that spiritual wealth which no one can fully understand]

and to make plain [to everyone] the plan of the mystery [regarding the uniting of believing Jews and Gentiles into one body] which [until now] was kept hidden through the ages in [the mind of] God who created all things.

10 So now through the church the multifaceted wisdom of God [in all its countless aspects] might now be made known [revealing the mystery] to the [angelic] rulers and authorities in the heavenly places

11 This is in accordance with [the terms of] the eternal purpose which He carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord,

12 in whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him [that is, our faith gives us sufficient courage to freely and openly approach God through Christ]

13 So I ask you not to lose heart at my sufferings on your behalf, for they are your glory and honor.

14 For this reason [grasping the greatness of this plan by which Jews and Gentiles are joined together in Christ] I bow my knees [in reverence] before the Father [of our Lord Jesus Christ]

15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth [a]derives its name [God—the first and ultimate Father]

16 May He grant you out of the riches of His glory, to be strengthened and spiritually energized with power through His Spirit in your inner self, [indwelling your innermost being and personality]

20 Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us,

21 to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.

Ephesians 3:1-21 (AMP)

Footnotes

[a] Ephesians 3:15 In Greek, the word for family is patria, which is derived from pater, the word for “father.” The concept of family originates with God.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – A New Road to Travel

“My people, I am taking you up a level,” says the Spirit of the Lord. “I am giving you a new anointing to lead. My beloved, a time of insecurity is fast approaching. It’s a time where everything that was is now obsolete because I am shaking the seemingly unshakable to bring forward the new. For this reason, I don’t want you to panic.

Be careful not to be distracted by what is going on around you and in the world. Circumstances will try to attract your attention and pull you into a whirlwind of anxiety, but I say to you: My children look to Me.

Fix your eyes on Me, for I provide every solution. Am I not your Rock, your Fortress and your Deliverer? As you cling to the Cross I will keep your peace because I am the Prince of Peace. As storms rage I will speak to the waves in your life and calm them down. For I alone speak to the storm and say ‘Peace, be still.’ As you fix your gaze on Me I will make you stronger so that you will be able to help those who are ‘drowning.’

During the past season I have pruned and honed you, therefore now you have the tools to show the way to whoever I send you, to speak up whenever I tell you and to be a beacon of light for those who are lost in the wilderness. Now take heart, be strong and courageous. There is a new road before you to travel. You have never been this way before but if you follow Me, it will be glorious.”

Activation:

Pray and ask Holy Spirit if you have any fear or anxiety deriving from ancient hurts or from the past season. If you do, lay it down, repent for having partnered with it, and ask the Lord to uproot it and prepare you for the new through a deep healing. Then, ask the Lord to strengthen you, to give you His Shalom and to show you during the week who are the people who are in need and what kind of support you need to give them.

and they commanded the people, “When you see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God being carried by the Levitical priests, then you shall set out from where you are and follow it.

However, there shall be a distance between you and it of about 2,000 cubits (3,000 ft.) by measurement. Do not come near it, [a]so that you may [be able to see the ark and] know the way you are to go, for you have not passed this way before.”

Joshua 3:3-4 (AMP)

Footnotes

[a] Joshua 3:4 The implication is that coming too close to the ark would invite the divine punishment of death, and that the people can only follow the ark if they keep a safe distance.

    The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and the One who rescues me;
    My God, my rock and strength in whom I trust and take refuge;
    My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower—my stronghold.

    Psalm 18:2 (AMP)

    He hushed the storm to a gentle whisper,
    So that the waves of the sea were still.

    Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – A Royal Priesthood

    The Sovereign Lord says:

    “Rejoice, My people, for I have made you into a royal priesthood for My own possession. I have laid My hands on you and anointed your head with holy oil. You have been set aside for My royal pleasure and have a dwelling in My holy city. You are seated with Me in the highest places.

    Before you were just members of a human body, wandering the earth aimlessly – searching but never finding, looking but not seeing, hearing but not listening, judging but not discerning, serving but not glorifying. But I am more than just your liege lord. You have been adopted into My family. Your very identity is in Me.

    You are living stones in My spiritual house. I have ordained you to represent Me on the earth and to minister to all humanity. You walk with My authority into the chambers of worldly power and you tear down strongholds of the enemy as My Kingdom advances. The gifts I have lavished on you are your priestly garments.

    Go, proclaim Me to all peoples, calling them out of the darkness and into My marvellous light.”

    Activation: Picture yourself in royal, priestly robes. Then, in the Spirit, sit and dwell with the Lord. Thank Him for His blessings and praise Him in song, in tongues or in any language or way that comes naturally to you.

    Spend time with Holy Spirit to discern what areas of ministry you are not moving in the Lord’s priestly authority. Pray for a fresh anointing of wisdom and strength so that you may walk boldly into those areas as a member of His Royal Priesthood.

    But you are a CHOSEN RACE, a royal priesthood, A CONSECRATED NATION, a [special] PEOPLE FOR God’s OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies [the wonderful deeds and virtues and perfections] of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

    10 Once you were NOT A PEOPLE  [at all], but now you are GOD’S PEOPLE; once you had NOT RECEIVED MERCY, but now you have RECEIVED MERCY.

    1 Peter 2:9-10 (AMP)

    24 but, on the other hand, Jesus holds His priesthood permanently and without change, because He lives on forever.

    25 Therefore He is able also to save forever (completely, perfectly, for eternity) those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to intercede and intervene on their behalf [with God].
