Psalm 23

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

You LORD, are The Good Shepherd, You tend to me and take care of ALL my needs; if I thirst You give me water; if I hunger You give me food to eat; and if I am cold You provide a way for me to get clothes on my back. You are the Great Waymaker!

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

Good Shepherd, You provide a resting place for me, away from harm. When I rest in You there is complete tranquility, peace, stillness and calm. You sustain me, I have need for nothing. You lead me beside the still waters but not into the still waters. You will be with me if anything changes; neither leaving nor forsaking me.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

My soul is fully repaired as You lead me in the good, perfect and upright path

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Many times I will come so close to great danger, whether it be physical or spiritual, but there is no need to fear. You, LORD my God, will always be by my side, so I will not even dash my foot against a stone. Your rod and staff will govern, reprimand and pull me closer to You, if I seem to stray.

Thou prepare a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointed my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

My life is in Your hands and You are able to mould it and me whatever way You wish to, especially in the presence of my enemies, so I need not fear. My head has been anointed with oil as a symbol of me having died to self and living on in You. No good thing will You withhold from me; I have an abundance of my needs.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever

I shall live a life with an upright heart, filled with mercy, to give and receive. Forever, I will always be, in Your presence.

Abba Father, I just want to give You thanks and magnify Your name. I thank You because as each day goes by I recognise Your voice and understand when You speak. Forgive me of all sins, so that I may walk confidently before You and realise that I only need to ask and I shall receive.

Because I love You, says Your Word, You will rescue me; You will protect me. I will call upon Your name and You will answer me; You will be with me in trouble, You will deliver me and honour me. With long life will You satisfy me and show me Your salvation

Psalm 91:14-16

I thank You that each and every day is a time to start again. We can begin a new season. Assist me in clothing myself in righteousness and forgetting all things of the past. I can’t do it without You. It’s because of You that it is even possible.

Isaiah 43:18-19

I thank You that You are such a faithful God; Your compassion never fails and You are my portion.

Lamentations 3:22-24

Allow my character and personality to be transformed and become apparent before others, as they see the new me! Let me not be hesitant but always willing to show how I have changed. Growth in You, is something that should occur for all; not just a baby Christian.

Matthew 5:16

So many things come across my path; mentally, physically and spiritually. But I pray, El Shaddai, that no matter what I come across today, You will continue to do this new thing in me and follow it through to completion.

In this race called life, there are many runners. Only one wins the prize, so I aim to run and win.

As I open my eyes this morning I give thanks that I am able to proclaim that this is the day that my God has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it! Abba Father, I will use this day to meditate on You, no matter what comes my way. I ask that You take control of every fibre of my being as I go. Life can be busy, but I pray that You will direct me in every way, so I may be able to think on You and hear You as You speak. Forgive me of all sins, both known and unknown.

Today I wish to present my body as a living and holy sacrifice, so that I may be wholly acceptable to You.

Romans 12:1-2

I ask that I am used as a vessel; fill me full to an overflow. I want my portion due to me today, as I am nothing without You.

2 Corinthians 4:7

Your Word tells me that the things seen are temporary, so I am to remain fixed on things unseen, for they are permanent and exceed all that I can imagine.

2 Corinthians 4:17

Out of the abundance of my heart, my mouth speaks. Let each word that comes forth and the meditation of my heart, always be truly acceptable in Your sight.

Matthew 12:34

Promise of God – Proverbs 3:5-6 – Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Abba Father, I just wish to rest in Your arms today. In Your arms I know that I can be safe and secure. There are many that closed their eyes last night but did not wake to see this morning, for that I have to give You all the praise. The fact that I am awake shows that You are not finished with me yet! No matter what things look like around me, I am a part of Your perfect plan.

Today will be better than yesterday and tomorrow will be greater than today!

Job 8:7

All things that I go through are being managed by You, because I love You and am called for Your purpose.

Romans 8:28

Before I was even a twinkle in my earthly father’s eye, I was known and predestined by You.

Romans 8:29

As long as I follow Your will and Your way, You assure me that the best is yet to come. It hasn’t been seen, heard or felt, exactly what You have prepared for anyone that loves You…therefore, that will be my focus.

1 Corinthians 2:9

You are my Restorer! I shall not fear because You promise to strengthen me, make me firm and immovable. My prize is that I have been called to Your eternal glory!

1 Peter 5:10

Promise of God – Psalm 19:7 – The Law of the LORD is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple.

Promise of God – Haggai 2:9 – “The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts”

Abba Father, I thank You that I have made it through another week and that Friday is here! I thank You for Your mercy, grace and truth. I thank You that I am able to see more clearly and in seeing more clearly I can feel that I am being drawn closer to You. I just want to thank You from the bottom of my heart. As You have been with me throughout this week, please remain throughout this day.

You are my beginning and end. My day has been prepared before me, in the presence of my enemies. I know that I am protected and everything that comes my way will be directed by You. My day will overflow with blessings that I will be able to recognise and feel.

Psalm 23:5

I pray on this day I will continue to walk with You. I know that I will be protected as I go my way. Please sprinkle my heart free of a guilty conscience as I attempt to remain in Your will and Your way.

Hebrews 10:22

Your word tells me, because I love You, You will rescue and protect me. All I need to do is call on You, and You will hear.

Psalm 91:14

Continue to open my eyes, that all may be revealed before me

No thing and no one can rise against me because I am covered by The Blood. Any attempts will be brought to nought, as it is my heritage and my righteousness is of You.

Promise of God – John 8:12 – I am The Light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.

Abba Father, as I wake this morning I just want to give You all the honour, glory and praise. It’s a brand new morning and I just want to thank You that Your mercies are new each and every morning! No matter what has happened You have said that I can come freely to Your throne of grace and You are faithful and just to forgive.

Cleanse me from anything that may have displeased you, whether it be of thought, word or deed.

1 John 1:9

It is the former things that cause me to stumble, as my heart looks back. At times I may look back with longing or my mind may look back remembering what I once was. Help me to reach higher heights, as I am not physically weighed down by sin. For You have pulled me out of every situation, both seen and unseen. I just need to stay focused on You.

Isaiah 43-19

Whenever I slip and fall, life’s dramas make me feel as though I have been battered to the core, but You are right there to remind me that inwardly I am being renewed moment by moment, day by day. Help me to grab onto my new identity.

2 Corinthians 4:16-17

It is Your will that I am not consumed by my sin. I want to thank You that Your mercies are new each and every morning.

Lamentations 3:22-23

I thank You that, because I am covered by The Blood shed for me, I am a new creation, no longer under condemnation.

My sins are as far from me as the east is from west; so great is Your grace and Your love for me.

I am reconciled to You forever.

Promise of God – John 8:36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

The Lord’s Prayer {Matthew 6:9-14}

Our Father in heaven,

Our Father, The Most High God, that dwells in heaven

Hallowed be Your Name,

Recognise His Name as Holy, set apart, exalted and worthy of all the glory, praise, honour and so much more than what we can give,

Your Kingdom come,

The Lord’s Kingdom is coming,

Your will be done,

We request that it always is our desire to do His will and His will alone; for His will to overcome us and take precedence over our own,

On earth as it is in heaven,

For it to be on earth as it is in heaven. For His praises to always be on our lips and in our hearts; no matter the circumstance,

Give us today our daily bread.

Our God shall supply ALL our needs according to His riches in glory.

Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

We ask our Father to forgive us of ALL wrong, and He will as long as we forgive others of ALL their wrong towards/against us

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from all evil.

Lead us not into temptation; anything that is not of God. We do not want to be tested and tried but if we are, we want our Father to provide a way of escape

For thine is the Kingdom

The earth is His and the fullness thereof…He created it. Without Him it wouldn’t exist.

The power and the glory,

Our God possesses ALL the ability to do ALL things to change the course of the enemy in our lives and in ALL situations. We must ALWAYS give Him the honour, adoration, praise and thanksgiving, which is due to His Name. We should worship Him in the beauty of holiness.

Forever and ever.

From beginning of time the LORD’S Holy Spirit moved on the face of the waters. He is here now and will be for an eternity. The earth may pass away but The LORD, neither His Word, ever will!

Abba Father, I thank You for waking me up this morning, so that I can face another day on this beautiful earth. I come to You with my arms wide open, ready to receive. I thank You for who You are and I give You all the worship; all the honour; all the glory and all the praise. I pray that You will be with my every step, so that I may be a beacon for You. Please forgive me of all sins, whether they be of thought, word or deed. Whatever you have planned for me on this specific day, may I walk into it and follow Your will and Your way. I pray that I may continue to walk in strength and victory. If ever I fall away, I pray that by Your power and Your Might I will still fulfil all that is required of me. Whatever it is that you have planned for me to do, I trust that You will provide all that is needed for me to carry it out.

I do not know what lies ahead of this week but Yahweh Magen, You know. As I walk through it I pray that You will be my buckler and shield.

Psalm 35

For You know the plans You have for me and they are perfect. Like no other You will provide prosperity, hope and a future. All my prayers will be heard by You, as I seek You with my whole heart.

Jeremiah 29:11-13

You tell me to ask, seek and knock and all will be given to me. You will cater for all my needs, so great is Your love.

Matthew 7:7-11

No good thing will You withhold from me, as long as I remain blameless. Therefore I draw close to You LORD that I may always be pleasing in Your sight.

You are Yahweh Yireh, my provider, and promise to release all I require according to your riches in Glory.

Abba Father, I approach Your throne of grace with thanksgiving in my heart, as I prepare to take on what the world has in store for me today. I thank You that You have chosen me and taken me out of the arms of the enemy and that everything about me is all about You. LORD I come to you transformed and renewed. It is not by anything of self but entirely You and I want to thank, worship and adore Your mighty Name. Teach me Heavenly Father to understand that the only reason I love You is because You loved me first. You are my everything. You are the First and Last, the Beginning and the End and the Prince of Peace. You are the same yesterday, today and forever. By being bruised, You provided my healing. By being pierced, You eased my pain! By being prosecuted, You gave me freedom! By your death, You gave me life! By Your resurrection, I see Your power!

I ask that a new heart is created within me, so that I can live in Your will and Your way.  Help me not to look back on what I have left behind but to just remain steadfast.

Psalm 51:10

I am fearfully and wonderfully made, You knew me before I was conceived and made everything the way it is supposed to be.

Psalm 139:14

You have begun a good work in me and because of who You are, Faithful and Just, You will follow it through until completion…You will not leave me undone.

Philippians 1:6

You are the Good Shepherd who has called me to this very spot and have brought me through everything I have been through, right at this moment in time and I am no longer blind.  Heavenly Father I now see and realise the exact moments that you waited for me to turn towards You and I did not.

For Your Word tells me that You will never leave nor forsake me. You’ve got my back. You’re better than any friend.
