Thought For The Day – Book of Hosea – Book of Hope – Book of Salvation (Wk1/2021)

Devotional Prayer – Sunday 3rd January 2021

I awake giving thanks that I am able to come before You this morning, as Your child, for the first Sunday within 2021. Many went to bed last night and were not able to do the same. I repent of all sins, whether they be of thought, word or deed. I know it is because of the death and resurrection of Your Son, Yeshua, that I am able to know You as The Great Physician; The Great I am; The Invisible God; My Father. I thank You for who and what You are. I thank You that I know You and the full power of His resurrection. I come before You with all thanks from within, from the depths of my heart. I thank You for Your High Calling and that my spirit was not deaf to it. I am filled with great joy that I can call You a Mighty God and Wonderful Counsellor. As I have entered 2021 I pray that You shake me in a way that I’ve never been shaken. May I know You in a way that I have not known You before. May this year be one where I truly become relentlessly unapologetic for my words, actions and beliefs. Provide the clarity I need, as the world attempts to drown Your voice out. May my prayers and thoughts be ones of power and strength. I decree and declare that I shall shake off the old and step into the new.
Your Word tells me that You have not given me a spirit of fear but one of power, love and a strong mind. I thank You Yeshua!
2 Timothy 1:7
You are the exact living image (the essential manifestation) of the unseen God (the visible representation of the invisible), the firstborn (the preeminent one, the sovereign and the originator) of all creation
Colossians 1:15
You have blessed me with so much and I now call on the increase that You have promised for both myself, my blood and spiritual family. This is for an abundance of all that is required for our future in You; whether it be financial, health-wise, physical and/or spiritual.
Psalm 115:14
No matter how many promises You have made, they are “Yes” in Yeshua The Anointed One, my Messiah. And so through Him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of You.
2 Corinthians 1:20
To You who is able to keep me from falling and to present me before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy – to You who is the only God, my Saviour, be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Yeshua The Anointed One, my Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen
Jude 1:24-25

Devotional Prayer – Thursday 17th December 2020

You are the Alpha and the Omega (the Beginning and the End), Who is (existing forever) and Who was (continually existing in the past) and Who is to come. El Elohim, Almighty (the Omnipotent, the Ruler of all). You are all these things and more, I can even call You Daddy. You say in Your Word that Your ways and thoughts are not as mine and I thank You. As human beings we can sway from one decision to another; feeling up or down; hot or cold; and breaking promises made, but You are the one constant in existence. YOU. NEVER. CHANGE.
We have been told by England’s Chief Medical Officer, Chris Witty, to “Keep it small, keep it short and keep it local”, as we move towards the day of commemoration for Your birth. There are so many things that are being said about what is arising across the globe. I pray that, whatever that view is, that Your wisdom, guidance and protection will prevail.
Keep Your decrees and commands – I shall keep Your statutes and commandments which I am being commanded today, so that it may go well with me and with my children after me, and so that I may live long on the land which You, Lord my God, is giving me.
Deuteronomy 4:40
Keep up my courage – I will be in good spirits, because there will be no loss of life among me, my friends and family. As Paul was told to keep up the courage, I believe and have complete confidence in You, that it will turn out exactly as I have been told.
Acts 27:22-25
Keep the sayings of the wise in my heart and on my lips – Listen carefully and hear the words of the wise,
And apply my mind to Your knowledge;
For it will be pleasant if I keep them in mind (incorporating them as guiding principles);
I will let them be ready on my lips (to guide and strengthen me and others)
Proverbs 22:17-18
To You who is able to keep me from falling and to present me before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy – to You who is the only God, my Saviour, be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Yeshua The Anointed One, my Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen
