Devotional Prayer – Thursday 17th December 2020

You are the Alpha and the Omega (the Beginning and the End), Who is (existing forever) and Who was (continually existing in the past) and Who is to come. El Elohim, Almighty (the Omnipotent, the Ruler of all). You are all these things and more, I can even call You Daddy. You say in Your Word that Your ways and thoughts are not as mine and I thank You. As human beings we can sway from one decision to another; feeling up or down; hot or cold; and breaking promises made, but You are the one constant in existence. YOU. NEVER. CHANGE.

We have been told by England’s Chief Medical Officer, Chris Witty, to “Keep it small, keep it short and keep it local”, as we move towards the day of commemoration for Your birth. There are so many things that are being said about what is arising across the globe. I pray that, whatever that view is, that Your wisdom, guidance and protection will prevail.

Keep Your decrees and commands – I shall keep Your statutes and commandments which I am being commanded today, so that it may go well with me and with my children after me, and so that I may live long on the land which You, Lord my God, is giving me.

Deuteronomy 4:40

Keep up my courage – I will be in good spirits, because there will be no loss of life among me, my friends and family. As Paul was told to keep up the courage, I believe and have complete confidence in You, that it will turn out exactly as I have been told.

Acts 27:22-25

Keep the sayings of the wise in my heart and on my lips – Listen carefully and hear the words of the wise,

And apply my mind to Your knowledge;

For it will be pleasant if I keep them in mind (incorporating them as guiding principles);

I will let them be ready on my lips (to guide and strengthen me and others)

Proverbs 22:17-18

To You who is able to keep me from falling and to present me before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy – to You who is the only God, my Saviour, be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Yeshua The Anointed One, my Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen

Devotional Prayer – Wednesday 16th December 2020

Almighty Father, Your Word tells me that I am in this world but not of this world. Burn this into my mind, spirit and heart. As I see and hear things happening around me, I pray that You will allow me to lean not on my own understanding but upon You. Help me to not look to the left nor the right but to remain focused on high. Instil in me the knowledge that it is the spirit man that remains of the upmost importance because that is my connection with You. Today I hold onto each and every promise that I am personally aware of, because they are all mine. You have said it so I will believe it, because You are not a human being that You would lie, as it is not in Your nature to do so.

Your promises I will focus on today are that:

You will never leave nor forsake me but will always be by my side.

Deuteronomy 31:8

I have been forgiven; they have been blotted out and You remember them no more.

Isaiah 43:25

You love me with an unfailing love.

Jeremiah 31:3

You are my hiding place, where I am protected and instructed: I endeavour to always hear Your voice.

Psalm 32:7

You are my safe and secret place, where i am sheltered.

Psalm 91

I can do all things through Yeshua, the Anointed One, who strengthens me.

Philippians 4:13

“Do not let your heart be troubled (afraid, cowardly). Believe (confidently) in God and trust in Him, (have faith, hold on to it, rely on it keep going and) believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many dwelling places. If it were not so, I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and I will take you to Myself, so that where I am you may be also.

John 14:1-3

It is because of these promises I feel that, today, I can walk in victory.

To You who is able to keep me from falling and to present me before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy – to You who is the only God, my Saviour, be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Yeshua The Anointed One, my Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.

Jude 1:24-25

Meditation Scripture

Isaiah 43:1-2 (Amplified Bible)

But now, this is what the LORD, your Creator says, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel,
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you (from captivity);
I have called you by name; you are Mine!
2
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you.
When you walk through fire, you will not be scorched,
Nor will the flame burn you.

Devotional Prayer – Tuesday 15th December 2020

Abba Father, I give all glory and honour to You this morning, because You are worthy. I thank You for waking me up and for the day ahead. I pray that all my thoughts and deeds may be directed by You, so that all things You have placed into my life will bear good fruit. Give me a repentant heart, as King David had. He is a perfect example of Your forgiveness of sins. Upon sinning he always returned to You, requested and then received. You say in Your Word to ask and it will be received; to seek and we will find; and to knock and the door will be opened to us. Therefore, I ask, seek and knock with confidence. In this confidence I draw closely to Your throne of grace knowing I have overcome and I am victorious! I thank You for Your Word, the Holy Bible, which has been given to me as a manual for life. It is by reading this that I am able to have the Word inscribed on my heart. It then becomes internal. I request that my spirit will ingest it, so that I am aware of what You would request that I do. I thank You for what You’ve done, what You’re doing and what You intend to do. I ask that You go before me. I pray that You gird my loins and prepare me for what this day has to offer. I pray that I may walk into the manifestation of Your glory within my life. I cover myself, family and friends, with The Precious Blood of Your Son Jesus Christ…Yeshua. May I dance as King David danced and give You continual praise!

1 Chronicles 29:10-13 (Amplified Bible)
David’s Prayer

10 Therefore David blessed the Lord in the sight of all the assembly and said, “Blessed (praised, adored, and thanked) are You, O Lord God of Israel (Jacob) our father, forever and ever. 11 Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and on the earth; Yours is the dominion and kingdom, O Lord, and You exalt Yourself as head over all. 12 Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all. In Your hand is power and might; and it is in Your hands to make great and to give strength to everyone. 13 Now therefore, our God, we thank You, and praise Your glorious name.
