Tuesday Morning Prayer (Wk26/2021)

Abba Father, I thank You for bringing me through to another day. Many lay their heads to rest last night and were not able to lift it up this morning. Therefore, I give You all glory, honour and praise because whilst I was a sinner, I became worthy through the Blood of The Lamb, Yeshua HaMashiach.

Today, I recognise You as my strength and peace. I lift my eyes towards the heavens and glorify You for all that has been done. As I look all about me and realise that, no matter how I try or yearn, I can never be perfect but because of my belief in You, the life, death and resurrection of Your Son; I am made whole. Bless me, so that I may be a blessing. Strengthen me, so I may be a strength to others. May I truly appreciate You as the Author and Giver of Peace in this, too often, loud world. As events, things and people encroach upon me spiritually and physically, I pray You will ignite me with Your Holy Spirit. Your Word tells me not to fear as, via You, I am victorious. My Father and my God, I trust in You.

“The Lord is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation; This is my God, and I will praise Him; my father’s God, and I will exalt Him.

Exodus 15:2 (AMP)

1 To You, O Lord, I lift up my soul.

2 O my God, in You I [have unwavering] trust [and I rely on You with steadfast confidence], do not let me be ashamed or my hope in You be disappointed; do not let my enemies triumph over me.

Psalm 25:1-2 (AMP)

‘Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].’

Isaiah 41:10 (AMP)

20 Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),

21 Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Yeshua HaMashiach/Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages).

Amen (So be it)

Hebrews 13:20-21 (AMPC)

Monday Morning Prayer (Wk26/2021)

Abba Father, I bless Your Holy Name for the new day and week ahead. Before I step out of Your presence, in my time of reflection, I realise it for what it is, as I launch out into the deep. As I go about this day, I may not be consistently focused on You, but I know You are forever by my side. I thank You for being who You are, the Ever-present God, that made heaven and earth and give You all glory, honour and praise.

Today, I remain focused on my inner self and pray that You are magnified within. I thank You that You have such an understanding of me, my nature and what I battle with on a daily basis. Your Word tells me that I battle not with flesh and blood but with world and spiritual forces. Therefore, I place these things things before You and ask that You fight these battles for me and have Your way. Psalm 91 validates that if I dwell in You, recognising and accepting You as my secret place and shelter, no evil will befall me. I am protected, so shall not fear. No matter the circumstance, anyone who approaches me will come in contact with You: Your love; Your kindness; Your compassion; Your might; Your power; and Your grace. Where I am weak, please be strong and fill any existing gaps. My Father and my God, You are my protection and strength. I trust in You.

16 May He grant you out of the riches of His glory, to be strengthened and spiritually energized with power through His Spirit in your inner self, [indwelling your innermost being and personality],

17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through your faith. And may you, having been [deeply] rooted and [securely] grounded in love,

18 be fully capable of comprehending with all the saints (God’s people) the width and length and height and depth of His love [fully experiencing that amazing, endless love];

19 and [that you may come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you may be filled up [throughout your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you may have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself].

Ephesians 3:16-19 (AMP)

In Your presence
That’s where I am strong
In Your presence
O Lord my God
In Your presence
That’s where I belong
Seeking Your face
Touching Your grace
In the cleft of the Rock
In Your presence O God

I want to go
Where the rivers
Cannot overflow me
Where my feet are
On the Rock
I want to hide
Where the blazing
Fire cannot burn me
In Your presence O God

In Your presence
That’s where I am strong
In Your presence
O Lord my God
In Your presence
That’s where I belong
Seeking Your face
Touching Your grace
In the cleft of the Rock
In Your presence O God

I want to hide
Where the flood of
Evil cannot reach me
Where I’m covered by the Blood
I want to be where
The schemes of darkness
Cannot touch me
In Your presence O God

In Your presence
That’s where I am strong
In Your presence
O Lord my God
In Your presence
That’s where I belong
Seeking Your face
Touching Your grace
In the cleft of the Rock
In Your presence O God

You are my firm foundation
I trust in You all day long
I am Your child
And Your servant
And You are my
Strength and my Song
You’re my Song

In Your presence
That’s where I am strong
In Your presence
O Lord my God
In Your presence
That’s where I belong
Seeking Your face
Touching Your grace
In the cleft of the Rock
In Your presence O God

Friday Morning Scripture (Wk25/2021) – Hebrews 4:12-16

12 For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.

13 And not a creature exists that is concealed from His sight, but all things are open and exposed, naked and defenseless to the eyes of Him with Whom we have to do.

14 Inasmuch then as we have a great High Priest Who has [already] ascended and passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession [of faith in Him].

15 For we do not have a High Priest Who is unable to understand and sympathize and have a shared feeling with our weaknesses and infirmities and liability to the assaults of temptation, but One Who has been tempted in every respect as we are, yet without sinning.

16 Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].

Hebrews 4:12-16 (AMPC)

Wednesday Morning Scripture (Wk25/2021) – Hebrews 4:6-11

6 Seeing then that the promise remains over [from past times] for some to enter that rest, and that those who formerly were given the good news about it and the opportunity, failed to appropriate it and did not enter because of disobedience,

7 Again He sets a definite day, [a new] Today, [and gives another opportunity of securing that rest] saying through David after so long a time in the words already quoted, Today, if you would hear His voice and when you hear it, do not harden your hearts.

8 [This mention of a rest was not a reference to their entering into Canaan.] For if Joshua had given them rest, He [God] would not speak afterward about another day.

9 So then, there is still awaiting a full and complete Sabbath-rest reserved for the [true] people of God;

10 For he who has once entered [God’s] rest also has ceased from [the weariness and pain] of human labors, just as God rested from those labors peculiarly His own.

11 Let us therefore be zealous and exert ourselves and strive diligently to enter that rest [of God, to know and experience it for ourselves], that no one may fall or perish by the same kind of unbelief and disobedience [into which those in the wilderness fell].

Hebrews 4:6-11 (AMPC)

Tuesday Morning Prayer (Wk25/2021)

Almighty God, I give You all glory, honour and praise and thank You for this new day. As I behold Your goodness and the fact You’ve woken me one more time, I stand willing and ready to do as You ask. Forgive me of all sin, whether it is intentional or unintentional; known or unknown; seen or unseen; and of words, thoughts or deeds.

Today, as I place myself before You, I’m praying for an increase. Increase of Your love, peace, glory, presence, direction and all things that You know I need. I thank You for all answered prayers in the past and all those that are in the process of coming into fruition. I place all my plans, prayers and wishes before You and know that they are marked as things to be done; for You have said in Your Word that all I have to do is ask and I will receive. Therefore, Heavenly Father, whilst I sleep and when awake, I meditate on Your Word and spiritually encamp around the things I have placed before You, asking that You equip me and enlarge my territory. As You have done in the past, are doing now and forever will do, Mighty God, do it again. My Father and my God, I trust in You.

36 “You have also given me the shield of Your salvation, and Your help and gentleness make me great.

37 “You enlarge my steps under me, and my feet have not slipped.

38 “I pursued my enemies and destroyed them, and I did not turn back until they were consumed (eliminated).

2 Samuel 22:36-38 (AMP)

Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that You would indeed bless me and enlarge my border [property], and that Your hand would be with me, and You would keep me from evil so that it does not hurt me!” And God granted his request.

1 Chronicles 4:10 (AMP)

You enlarge the path beneath me and make my steps secure, So that my feet will not slip.

Psalm 18:36 (AMP

20 Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),

21 Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages).

Amen (so be it).

Hebrews 13:20-21 (AMPC)

Monday Morning Scripture (Wk25/2021) – Hebrews 4:1-5

Therefore, while the promise of entering His rest still holds and is offered [today], let us be afraid [to distrust it], lest any of you should think he has come too late and has come short of [reaching] it.

2 For indeed we have had the glad tidings [Gospel of God] proclaimed to us just as truly as they [the Israelites of old did when the good news of deliverance from bondage came to them]; but the message they heard did not benefit them, because it was not mixed with faith (waith the leaning of the entire personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) by those who heard it; neither were they united in faith with the ones [Joshua and Caleb] who heard (did believe).

3 For we who have believed (adhered to and trusted in and relied on God) do enter that rest, in accordance with His declaration that those [who did not believe] should not enter when He said, As I swore in My wrath, They shall not enter My rest; and this He said although [His] works had been completed and prepared [and waiting for all who would believe] from the foundation of the world.

4 For in a certain place He has said this about the seventh day: And God rested on the seventh day from all His works.

5 And [they forfeited their part in it, for] in this [passage] He said, They shall not enter My rest.

Hebrews 4:1-5 (AMPC)
