Tuesday Morning Prayer (Wk24/2021)

El Elyon, The Most High God, I thank You for seeing me through another night and waking me up on this brand new day. Many fell asleep last night and did not awake this morning. Therefore, I just want to give You thanks for all You have done and what You intend to do.

Today, I continue to pray for revelation of my true identity in You. I pray to go deeper within my knowledge of You. I have been made holy and set apart for Your purpose. Therefore, I pray for the eyes of my heart, mind and soul to be opened. At every available moment, throughout the day, may I see and feel the manifestation of Your Holy Spirit in my life and the world around me. As I delve into Your Word, speak to me Father, like never before. Clear my spiritual ears, so I may hear Your voice and not be deafened by the things in the natural. May we become one. You have said in Your Word that all we have to do is ask for a thing and it will be ours; so I am asking and expect to receive. I thank You that You do not only refer to things in the spiritual realm but also the physical. Confidence is mine. Healing is mine. Peace is mine. Prosperity is mine. Protection is mine. Wisdom is mine. I ask for all this and whatever else You know that I need, because You know all things. Father God, this day, I trust in You.

But now since you have been set free from sin and have become [willing] slaves to God, you have your benefit, resulting in sanctification [being made holy and set apart for God’s purpose], and the outcome [of this] is eternal life.

Romans 6:22 (AMP)

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].

2 Timothy 1:7 (AMP)

10 Therefore, believers, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you [be sure that your behavior reflects and confirms your relationship with God]; for by doing these things [actively developing these virtues], you will never stumble [in your spiritual growth and will live a life that leads others away from sin];

11 for in this way entry into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly provided to you.

2 Peter 1: (AMP)

20 Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),

21 Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages).

Amen (so be it).

Hebrews 13:20–21 (AMPC)

Monday Morning Prayer (Wk24/2021)

Elohe Tishuathi, the God of my Salvation, I come before You giving all glory, honour, praise and thanks. I thank You for what You’ve done, what you are doing and what You intend to do. I give You praise because of who You are and give You thanks that You are not done with me yet!

Today, I pray for revelation of my true identity in You. There is so much that You have provided for me to know You and there are many anointed to point me in the right direction. I ask that You open my mind, spirit and soul to the fact that I have also been anointed, chosen and appointed to do a great work on this earth. It is all for Your Kingdom. Open my eyes that I may be transformed and continually grow to be more like You. Give me the strength to do what I am called to do, but to not fear, simply because I am being directed and led by You. Illuminate me, so I will no longer walk by sight but by Your Spirit. Thank You for being with me at all times and fulfilling Your promise of neither leaving nor forsaking me. My Father and my God, I trust in You.

So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them.

Genesis 1:27 (AMP)

Then he said to me, “This [continuous supply of oil] is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel [prince of Judah], saying, ‘Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit [of whom the oil is a symbol],’ says the Lord of hosts.

Zechariah 4:6 (AMP)

You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed and placed and purposefully planted you, so that you would go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit will remain and be lasting, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name [as My representative] He may give to you.

John 15:16 (AMP)

[That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!

Ephesians 3:19 (AMP)

[For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope]

Philippians 3:10 (AMP)

Saturday Morning Prayer (Wk23/2021)

My Almighty God…Father…Daddy! I behold this beautiful day, giving You glory, honour, thanks and praise.

Today, I ask for divine refreshment. I’m aware of what I have planned but know that Your plans can override it all. Lift my spirit, so I may remain fully connected to You. May Your Spirit fully surround me, as my mind says one thing and I know that You would want another. I ask to be filled with the promised unspeakable triumphant joy. Let my conversation and deeds be ones that sweeten the soul. If there is any breeze blowing, as the sun beats down, I pray it will touch me to my very core and provide the same refreshment as Your Holy Spirit. Help me to see every situation and realise it as the blessing it is. I pray to ‘just be’ and enjoy the life and the people you have provided for me. Help me as I attempt to focus on what is, rather than what is not. I place You before me and, as always, trust in You.

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable and pleasing in Your sight, O Lord, my [firm, immovable] rock and my Redeemer.

Psalm 19:14 (AMP)

yet He did not leave Himself without some witness [as evidence of Himself], in that He kept constantly doing good things and showing you kindness, and giving you rains from heaven and productive seasons, filling your hearts with food and happiness.”

Acts 14:17 (AMP)

…….give a blessing [pray for one another’s well-being, contentment, and protection]; for you have been called for this very purpose, that you might inherit a blessing [from God that brings well-being, happiness, and protection].

1 Peter 3:9 (AMP)

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling or falling into sin, and to present you unblemished [blameless and faultless] in the presence of His glory with triumphant joy and unspeakable delight,

Jude 1:24 (AMP)

20 Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),

21 Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages).

Amen (So be it)

Hebrews 13:20-21 (AMP)

Friday Morning Prayer (Wk23/2021)

Abba Father, I come before You, standing alone, but grateful and giving You all glory, honour and praise.

Today, I realise, and put my focus on the abundance of all that has been placed before me. You have said in Your Word to centre my mind on whatever is true, honourable, of respect, right, conformed by Your Word, whatever is pure, wholesome, lovely and brings peace and all that is worthy of praise. If I stay focused on all these things, my mind, spirit and soul will remain grateful. I will shift my focus so I can be happy and secure in Your love and Your hope. Strengthen me, so if I at times lose myself, I will find myself within You. Give me hope as I attempt to stand firm within a foreign land. My Father and my God, I trust in You.

Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Lift up a song for Him who rides through the desert— His name is the Lord—be in good spirits before Him.

Psalm 68:4 (AMP)

Finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart].

Philippians 4:8 (AMP)

1 Peter, an apostle (special messenger, personally chosen representative) of Jesus Christ, To those [elect—both Jewish and Gentile believers] who live as exiles, scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia [Minor], and Bithynia, who are chosen

2 according to the foreknowledge of God the Father by the sanctifying work of the Spirit to be obedient to Jesus Christ and to be sprinkled with His blood: May grace and peace [that special sense of spiritual well-being] be yours in increasing abundance [as you walk closely with God].

3 Blessed [gratefully praised and adored] be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant and boundless mercy has caused us to be born again [that is, to be reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose] to an ever-living hope and confident assurance through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

1 Peter 1:1-3

Gospel Song of the Day – Rock of Ages (Wk23/2021)

Rock of Ages – Amy Grant – YouTube

Rock of ages, cleft for me
Let me hide myself in Thee
Rock of ages, cleft for me
Let me hide myself in Thee

Let the water and the blood
From Thy riven side which flowed
Be of sin the double cure
Cleanse me from it’s guilt and pow’r

Nothing in my hand I bring
Simply to Thy cross I cling
Nothing in my hand I bring
Simply to Thy cross I cling

Naked, come to Thee for dress
Helpless, look to Thee for grace
Vile, I to the fountain fly
Wash me, savior, or I die

Rock of ages, cleft for me
Let me hide myself in Thee
Rock of ages, cleft for me
Let me hide myself in Thee

Thursday Morning Prayer (Wk23/2021)

Almighty God, I come before You, humbly and with gratitude. I give You all glory, honour, thanks and praise for what You have done, what You are doing and what You intend to do. Please forgive me of all sin, of the heart, mind, spirit and that which flows from my lips.

Today, I thank You for the brand new day placed before me and give thanks that You are the ever-present unchanging source. Help me as I strive to continue looking to You. Place me in Your glorious light, so my wrongs may always be visible to me and I will then be reliant on You. I give thanks that You place my feet on the Rock so I will not slip, for all other ground, routes and ways are sinking sand. Help me as I build my life on Christ and prepare me as I do all things predestined for me. Forever, I trust in You.

“Who has performed and done this, Calling forth [and guiding the destinies of] the generations [of the nations] from the beginning? ‘I, the Lord—the first, and with the last [existing before history began, the ever-present, unchanging God]—I am He.’”

Isaiah 41:4 (AMP)

For those whom He foreknew [and loved and chose beforehand], He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son [and ultimately share in His complete sanctification], so that He would be the firstborn [the most beloved and honored] among many believers.

Romans 8:29 (AMP)

But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light [of God’s precepts], for it is light that makes everything visible.

Ephesians 5:13 (AMP)

27 God [in His eternal plan] chose to make known to them how great for the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in and among you, the hope and guarantee of [realizing the] glory.

28 We proclaim Him, warning and instructing everyone in all wisdom [that is, with comprehensive insight into the word and purposes of God], so that we may present every person complete in Christ [mature, fully trained, and perfect in Him—the Anointed].

29 For this I labor [often to the point of exhaustion], striving with His power and energy, which so greatly works within me.

Colossians 1:27-29 (AMP)

Thursday Morning Scripture (Wk23/2021) – Psalm 40

God Sustains His Servant

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.

1 I waited patiently and expectantly for the Lord; And He inclined to me and heard my cry.

2 He brought me up out of a horrible pit [of tumult and of destruction], out of the miry clay,

And He set my feet upon a rock, steadying my footsteps and establishing my path.

3 He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; many will see and fear [with great reverence] and will trust confidently in the Lord.

4 Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who makes the Lord his trust, and does not regard the proud nor those who lapse into lies.

5 Many, O Lord my God, are the wonderful works which You have done, And Your thoughts toward us; there is none to compare with You. If I would declare and speak of your wonders, they would be too many to count.

6 Sacrifice and meal offering You do not desire, nor do You delight in them; You have opened my ears and given me the capacity to hear [and obey Your word]; burnt offerings and sin offerings You do not require.

7 Then I said, “Behold, I come [to the throne]; in the scroll of the book it is written of me.

8 “I delight to do Your will, O my God; Your law is within my heart.”

9 I have proclaimed good news of righteousness [and the joy that comes from obedience to You] in the great assembly; behold, I will not restrain my lips [from proclaiming Your righteousness], as You know, O Lord.

10 I have not concealed Your righteousness within my heart; I have proclaimed Your faithfulness and Your salvation. I have not concealed Your lovingkindness and Your truth from the great assembly.

11 Do not withhold Your compassion and tender mercy from me, O Lord; Your lovingkindness and Your truth will continually preserve me.

12 For innumerable evils have encompassed me; my sins have overtaken me, so that I am not able to see. They are more numerous than the hairs of my head, and my heart has failed me.

13 Be pleased, O Lord, to save me; O Lord, make haste to help me.

14 Let those be ashamed and humiliated together who seek my life to destroy it; let those be turned back [in defeat] and dishonored who delight in my hurt.

15 Let those be appalled and desolate because of their shame who say to me, “Aha, aha [rejoicing in my misfortune]!”

16 Let all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; let those who love Your salvation say continually, “The Lord be magnified!”

17 Even though I am afflicted and needy, still the Lord takes thought and is mindful of me. You are my help and my rescuer. O my God, do not delay.

Psalm 40

Wednesday Morning Thanksgiving (Wk23/2021) – Isaiah 63:15-19

You Are Our Father

15 Look down from heaven and see from Your lofty dwelling place, holy and glorious. Where are Your zeal and Your mighty acts [Your miracles which you did for Your people]? The stirring of Your heart and Your compassion are restrained and withheld from me.

16 For [most certainly] You are our Father, even though Abraham [our ancestor] does not know us and Israel does not acknowledge us. You, O Lord, are [still] our Father, our Redeemer from everlasting is Your name.

17 O Lord, why do You cause us to stray from Your ways and harden our heart from fearing You [with reverence and awe]? Return for Your servants’ sake, the tribes of Your heritage.

18 Your holy people possessed Your sanctuary for [only] a little while; our adversaries have trampled it down.

19 We have become like those over whom You have never ruled, like those who were not called by Your name.

Isaiah 63:15-19 (AMP)
