Friday Morning Prayer (Wk35/2021)

Almighty Father, I approach Your Throne of Grace, one more time and I give You thanks, praise, glory and honour. I worship You this morning for what You’ve done, what You’re doing and what You intend to do. I place this day before You and ask that You use it and me for Your glory.

Today, I stand. When there is mayhem around me; I stand. When there is no money to pay bills; I stand. When there are rumours about losing employment; I stand. When there is pain running through my body; I stand. When there is fear because of the external environment, the pandemic, war, hatred in the world; I stand. When it seems as though all hope is gone; my Lord, I stand. For You are my peace. Your Word tells me, when I am weary You give me strength and where I lack energy You increase my power. The battles I face are not mine they are Yours. Therefore, I stand boldly, as You are my protection; You are my strength; You are my shield; You are my right hand; and there is no thing or no one that I will fear. I will stand. My Father and my God, I trust in You.

You need not fight in this battle; take your positions, stand and witness the salvation of the Lord who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.’”

Let your character [your moral essence, your inner nature] be free from the love of money [shun greed—be financially ethical], being content with what you have; for He has said, “I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you [assuredly not]!”

20 Now may the Elohim of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Yeshua, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),

21 Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Yeshua HaMashiach (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages).

Friday Morning Scripture (Wk35/2021) – Psalm 143

Prayer for Help and Guidance.

A Psalm of David.

1 Hear my prayer, O Lord, listen to my supplications! Answer me in Your faithfulness, and in Your righteousness.

2 And do not enter into judgment with Your servant, for in Your sight no man living is righteous or justified.

3 For the enemy has persecuted me, He has crushed my life down to the ground; He has made me dwell in dark places, like those who have been long dead.

4 Therefore my spirit is overwhelmed and weak within me [wrapped in darkness]; My heart grows numb within me.

5 I remember the days of old; I meditate on all that You have done; I ponder the work of Your hands.

6 I reach out my hands to You; My throat thirsts for You, as a parched land [thirsts for water]. Selah.

7 Answer me quickly, O Lord, my spirit fails; Do not hide Your face from me, Or I will become like those who go down into the pit (grave).

8 Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, For I trust in You. Teach me the way in which I should walk, For I lift up my soul to You.

9 Rescue me, O Lord, from my enemies; I take refuge in You.

10 Teach me to do Your will [so that I may please You], For You are my God; Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.

11 Save my life, O Lord, for Your name’s sake; In Your righteousness bring my life out of trouble.

12 In your lovingkindness, silence and destroy my enemies and destroy all those who afflict my life, for I am Your servant.

Psalm 143

Verses of the Day – Matthew 17:19-21 (AMP)

19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and asked, “Why could we not drive it out?”

20 He answered, “Because of your little faith [your lack of trust and confidence in the power of God]; for I assure you and most solemnly say to you, if you have [living] faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and [if it is God’s will] it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

21 [But this kind of demon does not go out except by prayer and fasting.]

Matthew 17:19-21 (AMP)

Thursday Morning Prayer – (Wk35/2021) – Guide Me O Thou Great Redeemer

Guide me, O thou great Redeemer,
Pilgrim through this barren land;
I am weak, but thou art mighty;
Hold me with thy powerful hand:
Bread of heaven, bread of heaven
Feed me till I want no more.
Feed me till I want no more.

Open thou the crystal fountain
Whence the healing stream shall flow;
Let the fiery, cloudy pillar
Lead me all my journey through:
Strong deliverer, strong deliverer
Be thou still my strength and shield.
Be thou still my strength and shield.

When I tread the verge of Jordan,
Bid my anxious fears subside;
Death of death, and hell’s destruction,
Land me safe on Canaan’s side:
Songs of praises, songs of praises
I will ever give to thee.
I will ever give to thee.

Thursday Morning Scripture (Wk35/2021) – Psalm 119:41-48

Vav

41 May Your lovingkindness also come to me, O Lord, Your salvation according to Your promise;

42 So I will have an answer for the one who taunts me, for I trust [completely] in Your word [and its reliability].

43 And do not take the word of truth utterly out of my mouth, for I wait for Your ordinances.

44 I will keep Your law continually, forever and ever [writing Your precepts on my heart].

45 And I will walk at liberty, for I seek and deeply long for Your precepts.

46 I will also speak of Your testimonies before kings and shall not be ashamed.

47 For I shall delight in Your commandments, which I love.

48 And I shall lift up my hands to Your commandments, which I love; and I will meditate on Your statutes.

Psalm 119:41-48 (AMP)

Wednesday Morning Prayer (Wk35/2021)

Heavenly Father, as I open my eyes this morning, I thank You for what You’ve done, what You’re doing and what You intend to do. I give You all glory, honour and praise. As I approach Your Mercy Seat, I pray for a cleansing of all sins, whether they be of thought, word or deed; those to myself and to others.

Today, as I welcome this new month, I lift my eyes towards the hills, from where all my help comes from. I know it is You. As I come before You this morning, I take You at Your Word. Your Word says that death and life are in the power of the tongue. Therefore, as I step out into this new month, may it be a new season where I begin to put total dependence on You. I pray and speak life into every area of my life. May any plan You have for me, that is laying dormant, be resurrected. I speak life and spiritual growth into my mind, body, soul and spirit; and ask that You have Your way. I speak death to the things that may have, and are causing, any hindrance to the plans and purposes of my life, that will break the connection I have with You. I call all things into existence that are meant for me. I pray that as I look to my left and right You will be there: Everything and everyone surrounding me, or in the vicinity of my life, will be enveloped in Your love, grace and power. May I recognise and understand the power that You have given me. As it was in the times of the many great men and women of the Bible, may it be right now. May all fallow ground be broken and ready to receive a fresh anointing. I pray anyone reading this prayer will receive a touch from You and the plans and purposes for their lives be revealed to them. May all scales be removed from our eyes, hearts and spirits. May we call into existence the time when we will do exploits. May Your voice be heard. May we answer the call. My Father and my God, we trust in You.

With smooth words [of flattery and praise] he will turn to godlessness those who [are willing to] disregard the [Mosaic] covenant, but the people who [are spiritually mature and] know their God will display strength and take action [to resist].

Daniel 11:32 (AMP)

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words.

Proverbs 18:21 (AMP)

Prayer Promises

In that day you will not [need to] ask Me about anything. I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name [as My representative], He will give you.

John 16:23 (AMP)

16 Therefore, [inheriting] the promise depends entirely on faith [that is, confident trust in the unseen God], in order that it may be given as an act of grace [His unmerited favor and mercy], so that the promise will be [legally] guaranteed to all the descendants [of Abraham]—not only for those [Jewish believers] who keep the Law, but also for those [Gentile believers] who share the faith of Abraham, who is the [spiritual] father of us all—

17 (as it is written [in Scripture], “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the sight of Him in whom he believed, that is, God who gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist.

18 In hope against hope Abraham believed that he would become a father of many nations, as he had been promised [by God]: “So [numberless] shall your descendants be.”

Romans 4:16-18 (AMP)

Amen (So be it)
