Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Hunger for Me

It’s wedding season, and God is calling you His bride; confident, radiant, and deeply desired. He isn’t ashamed of you. In fact, He takes delight in the way you’ve responded to His invitation to come close. Even the messy, hidden parts of your life – the thoughts, habits, and shame no one else sees – He has gently cleansed.

Just like Esther went through a process of preparation before standing before the king, you’ve been walking through your own season of becoming. You’ve been purified. You’ve been transformed. But maybe you still look in the mirror and see someone unworthy.

The Lord says, “That’s not how I see you. When you speak badly about yourself, I hear it as if you’re criticizing someone I deeply love. I want to show you a different mirror, one that reflects Jesus. This doesn’t erase who you are; it reveals the real you that I made new.

You’re not a clone. You’re not a disappointment. You’re a masterpiece with a new spirit… My Spirit. Put on confidence like a wedding dress. Walk like someone who is fully loved, fully known, and fully accepted. I am waiting for you to believe what I already see.

Application:

Stand in front of a mirror and say out loud, “I am radiant because God cleansed me. I am loved because God demonstrated His love for me. I am new because God put His Spirit in me.” Do this as many times as needed until you can feel yourself accepting this truth.

Moving forward, when the voices of shame rise up, ask God to help you see yourself the way He does. Speak words of life over yourself, especially when your thoughts want to tear you down. Let those truths reshape how you live, walk, and speak.

Marriage Like Christ and the Church

26 so that He might sanctify the church, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word [of God],

27 so that [in turn] He might present the church to Himself in glorious splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy [set apart for God] and blameless.

Ephesians 5:26-27 (AMP)

And we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His image from [one degree of] glory to [even more] glory, which comes from the Lord, [who is] the Spirit.

Give Me a Sign: How to Recognize God’s Direction for Your Life|Ep.149

Are you asking God for a sign? Discover how to recognize when God is guiding you—through peace, direction, and His presence—even in unexpected ways. It’s time to stop second-guessing and start trusting.

Give Me a Sign: How to Recognize God’s Direction for Your Life|Ep.149

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Know Who You Are

My Beloved, many of you are emerging from an extended season of testing and preparation. I am proud of the long-suffering and faithfulness you have displayed during this time which has allowed Me to forge in you the character you need to carry your call. Where there have been degrees of hiddenness up to now, be assured that I am about to bring you out of the shadows and divinely endorse your life for the sake of the Kingdom and My glory.

Remember how I chose Aaron and his family to do the work of the priest, miraculously causing his staff, which was nothing but dead wood, to yield buds, blossoms and ripe almonds.  My People, you are entering into days of greater authority and leadership with unprecedented fruitfulness that will be seen by many.  You must continue to remain in the vine and place your confidence and security in who you are in Me. Apart from Me, you can do nothing.

If you remain in Me, not only will there be much fruit for the Kingdom, but it will silence the naysayers who would want to complain and undermine. When opposition comes, remind yourself that you are chosen and appointed to bear fruit. Do not allow the opinions of man to intimidate or define you.

Remember who you belong to. You are Mine.  Declare over your life ‘I am loved, I am chosen, I know who I am, I know what God has spoken’.

Application:

Read through Numbers Chapter 18 (AMP). Ask the Lord if there are any areas of your life that still need pruning to prepare for the days of increased fruitfulness. Specifically, is He bringing new friendships or alignments that will bring fresh grace and strength for the days ahead?  Are there any relationships which now must come to an end?  Ask the Lord for wisdom as to how to be obedient to what He shows you and for the timing.

Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me.

John 15:4 (AMPC)

You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed you [I have planted you], that you might go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit may be lasting [that it may remain, abide], so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name [as [a]presenting all that I Am], He may give it to you.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – An Invitation to Surrender

My heart aches when you choose popularity over purity; when you trade closeness with Me for comfort in the culture around you. I am inviting you back. Back to the place where you hear My voice clearly. Back to the path I designed for you, not the one others expect you to follow.

I see where you’ve grown tired, where you’ve let the noise of the world drown out My whisper. But My arms are still open. My presence still rests over you. My desire hasn’t changed. I want you.

You don’t have to earn My approval. I’m not asking for perfection, but for surrender. I want your attention again.

Many people are invited, but not everyone says yes to wholehearted commitment. You may feel alone when you step away from the crowd, but you’re not. The crowd that cheers for you are many. My desire is that no one would be lost but I will not lower My standards to fit rebellion. I will not bend to match a culture that rejects Me. I will not be bribed or controlled.

I am calling you, My people, to stand apart. If you have bowed to culture, it’s time to get back up. If you have loved human approval more than My presence, it is time to return. I invite, equip, and speak, but you must be willing to listen and respond.

Application:

Take a moment to pause and ask yourself: have I been more focused on being accepted by others than being close to God? God is not shaming you. He’s inviting you to come closer.

This is not the time to blend in. It’s the time to stand out and return to holiness, renew your mind, and walk the path God set for you.

Dedicated Service

And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be [a]transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].

Romans 12:2 (AMP)

Footnotes

[a] Romans 12:2 From the Greek word meaning “metamorphosis.” Refers to the process that leads to an outward, permanent change.

An Unashamed Workman

Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from these things [which are dishonorable—disobedient, sinful], he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified [set apart for a special purpose and], useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.

Lion Bites  – Global Prophetic Alliance – A Burning Bush Encounter

Look and see! I am moving so that you may encounter Me. I am the God of the burning bush and My presence is holy. Remove your shoes for you are standing on holy ground. Cast off all that hinders and hear the words I have for you.

My child, why are you so distracted and your attention so short? Why is it that you seem surprised I want to talk to you at this moment? Do I not know what you are facing and the burdens you are carrying?

And yet I am calling you. I am calling you for important Kingdom assignments. I need one who hears My words and repeats them faithfully; who can take My messages to where I need them to be said; who can deliver them no matter what the situation they find themselves in.

For I am the Sovereign Lord and I want you as My emissary, to go where I send you, to set My people free from the tyrannies that bind them, from the paralysis of fear and the enemy’s condemnations, from the straitjacket of worldly systems and the mistruths of global society. Go and set My people free.

Application:

Read through the passage in scripture of Moses encountering the burning bush (Exodus 3:1-12) and then consider the following:

This is a burning bush moment. Consider the ground you are standing on – it is holy. You are in the presence of the Living God. Pay careful attention to what the Lord is saying to you.

What is it that He is calling you to? It may be a new mission – ask Him for clarity and guidance; it might be something familiar but He is granting you more authority and responsibility. Ask Him for perception and humility; or it could be a tough assignment which leads to hurt and rejection – ask Him for courage and discernment.

Remember this: He is the Lord. He is the Holy One. He has chosen you. Will you go as His ambassador?

The Burning Bush

1 Now Moses was keeping the flock of Jethro (Reuel) his father-in-law, the priest of Midian; and he led his flock to the west side of the wilderness and came to Horeb (Sinai), the mountain of God.

2 The [a]Angel of the LORD appeared to him in a blazing flame of fire from the midst of a bush; and he looked, and behold, the bush was on fire, yet it was not consumed.

3 So Moses said, “I must turn away [from the flock] and see this great sight—why the bush is not burned up.”

4 When the Lord saw that he turned away [from the flock] to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.”

5 Then God said, “Do not come near; take your sandals off your feet [out of respect], because the place on which you are standing is holy ground.”

6 Then He said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” Then Moses hid his face, because he was afraid to look at God.

7 The Lord said, “I have in fact seen the affliction (suffering, desolation) of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters (oppressors); for I know their pain and suffering.

8 So I have come down to rescue them from the hand (power) of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a land [that is] good and spacious, to a land [b]flowing with milk and honey [a land of plenty]—to the place of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

9 Now, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come to Me; and I have also seen how the Egyptians oppress them.

The Mission of Moses

10 Therefore, come now, and I will send you to Pharaoh, and then bring My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.”

11 But Moses said to God, “Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?”

12 And God said, “Certainly I will be with you, and this shall be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve and worship God at this mountain.”

Exodus 3:1-12 (AMP)

Footnotes
[a] Exodus 3:2 “Angel of the Lord” has been capitalized here to reflect the likelihood that it is God appearing in a visible form (see vv 4, 6; also note Gen 16:7).
[b] Exodus 3:8 This phrase referred to the abundant fertility of the land of Canaan. Milk (typically that of goats and sheep) was associated with abundance; “honey” referred mainly to syrups made from dates or grapes and was the epitome of sweetness. Bees’ honey was very rare and was considered the choicest of foods.

You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed and placed and purposefully planted you, so that you would go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit will remain and be lasting, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name [as My representative] He may give to you.

John 15:16 (AMP)

13 And of [a]Joseph he said,

“Blessed by the Lord be his land,
With the precious things of heaven, with the dew,
And from the deep water that lies beneath,

14 With the precious fruits of the sun,
And with the precious produce of the months.

15 “With the best things of the ancient mountains,
And with the precious things of the everlasting hills,

16 With the precious things of the earth and its fullness,
And the favor and goodwill of Him who dwelt in the bush.
Let these blessings come upon the head of Joseph,
And upon the crown of the head of him who was distinguished [as a prince] among his brothers.

Deuteronomy 33:13-16 (AMP)

Footnotes

[a] Deuteronomy 33:13 Because of Reuben’s sin with Bilhah, Joseph received the double blessing of the firstborn. The descendants of Joseph became the tribes established by his two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh (see v 17).

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Cast Your Nets

Just as I called My disciples, so I am calling you now. Just as I asked Simon Peter to let down his nets into deeper waters – I am asking you to trust Me, and to go deeper with Me.

Deeper waters is where you will find blessing, abundance and resource; the spiritual riches in that place of immersion in the Spirit are abundant and limitless. There is an ease to life in the Spirit; not toil and labour, which are the ways of the world. In the place of abiding, all needs are met.

The place of blessing can lead some to self-sabotage, as feelings of unworthiness emerge, but I have called you not to live from a place of fear. The spiritual riches that I have for you should lead you to a place of awe and reverence at who I am. So do not focus on your perceived self-lack. Instead, trust Me as you cast your nets deeper into Me, for I have called you to follow and what I have for you is always more.

Set aside your own agenda, and your past dreams of what you thought life ‘should’ look like, for the call that I have on you is higher and deeper still. And just as Simon Peter found, it is worth giving everything for.

Activation:

Sit with the Lord and ask Him to bring to mind an area of your life that is currently in shallow waters. It may be finances, work, ministry, family, friendships etc. Repent of any times that you have self-sabotaged through fear.

Answer Jesus’ call to follow Him, and to trust Him with that area of your life. Give Him your yes. Ask Him where to cast your nets. What should you do to involve Him deeper in this area, and how can you partner with Him to release the blessing that He has for you?

Go deeper still! Is there anything that He is asking you to give up, or to lay down in order for you to be able to fully answer the call to follow Him with your whole life?

The First Disciples

4 When He had finished speaking, He said to Simon [Peter], “Put out into the deep water and lower your nets for a catch [of fish].”

5 Simon replied, “Master, we worked hard all night [to the point of exhaustion] and caught nothing [in our nets], but at Your word I will [do as you say and] lower the nets [again].”

6 When they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their nets were [at the point of] breaking;

Tuesday Morning Scripture – Romans 6

Believers Are Dead to Sin, Alive to God

1 What shall we say [to all this]? Should we continue in sin and practice sin as a habit so that [God’s gift of] [a]grace may increase and overflow?

2 Certainly not! How can we, the very ones who died to sin, continue to live in it any longer?

3 Or are you ignorant of the fact that all of us who have been [b]baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?

4 We have therefore been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory and power of the Father, we too might walk habitually in newness of life [abandoning our old ways].

5 For if we have become one with Him [permanently united] in the likeness of His death, we will also certainly be [one with Him and share fully] in the likeness of His resurrection.

6 We know that our old [c]self [our human nature without the Holy Spirit] was nailed to the cross with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin.

7 For the person who has died [with Christ] has been freed from [the power of] sin.

8 Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live [together] with Him,

9 because we know [the self-evident truth] that Christ, having been raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has power over Him.

10 For the death that He died, He died to sin [ending its power and paying the sinner’s debt] once and for all; and the life that He lives, He lives to [glorify] God [in unbroken fellowship with Him].

11 Even so, consider yourselves to be dead to sin [and your relationship to it broken], but alive to God [in unbroken fellowship with Him] in Christ Jesus.

12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts and passions.

13 Do not go on offering members of your body to sin as instruments of wickedness. But offer yourselves to God [in a decisive act] as those alive [raised] from the dead [to a new life], and your members [all of your abilities—sanctified, set apart] as instruments of righteousness [yielded] to God.

14 For sin will no longer be a master over you, since you are not under Law [as slaves], but under [unmerited] grace [as recipients of God’s favor and mercy].

15 What then [are we to conclude]? Shall we sin because we are not under Law, but under [God’s] grace? Certainly not!

16 Do you not know that when you continually offer yourselves to someone to do his will, you are the slaves of the one whom you obey, either [slaves] of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness (right standing with God)?

17 But thank God that though you were slaves of sin, you became obedient with all your heart to the standard of teaching in which you were instructed and to which you were committed.

18 And having been set free from sin, you have become the slaves of righteousness [of conformity to God’s will and purpose].

19 I am speaking in [familiar] human terms because of your natural limitations [your spiritual immaturity]. For just as you presented your bodily members as slaves to impurity and to [moral] lawlessness, leading to further lawlessness, so now offer your members [your abilities, your talents] as slaves to righteousness, leading to [d]sanctification [that is, being set apart for God’s purpose].

20 When you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness [you had no desire to conform to God’s will].

21 So what benefit did you get at that time from the things of which you are now ashamed? [None!] For the outcome of those things is death!

22 But now since you have been set free from sin and have become [willing] slaves to God, you have your benefit, resulting in sanctification [being made holy and set apart for God’s purpose], and the outcome [of this] is eternal life.

23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God [that is, His remarkable, overwhelming gift of grace to believers] is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 6:1-23 (AMP)

Footnotes

[a] Romans 6:1 Grace justifies believers, making them free of the guilt of sin, blameless, so that they may have eternal life.

[b] Romans 6:3 “Baptize” is a transliteration of the Greek word baptizo, which means to submerge an object into liquid. In this passage Christ becomes the liquid, metaphorically, and those who are baptized into Him remain in Him forever and benefit from His experiences, including His death. The best news is that Jesus was resurrected, so believers will also experience resurrection (those who are alive when Christ returns will experience a physical transformation). But even now believers experience a kind of resurrection in that they live new lives (as Paul says, “walk in newness of life”) in a wonderful new relationship with God and their fellow believers.

[c] Romans 6:6 Gr anthropos, i.e. man, person.

[d] Romans 6:19 There are three basic kinds of sanctification in the NT: (1) Positional sanctification is based on the death of Christ. Every believer is a saint and is holy before God. The believer is “set apart for God” and in some instances “set apart for God’s purpose” (Heb 10:10, 14, 29); (2) Practical sanctification is a progressive process and means “growing in righteous living” as the believer matures spiritually (Rom 6:13; 1 Thess 5:23; 1 Pet 1:16); (3) Ultimate sanctification is that which is to come when the believer stands before God (Eph 5:26, 27).

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – The Obstacle is Gone

In the Spirit, I saw people standing before a massive rock wall. It reached the heavens and looked impossible to climb. Confused, they asked each other, “Didn’t God lead us here? How do we move forward?”

They made camp at the base, waiting for God to act. They became settled and comfortable. Then the facade shattered like glass. God removed the obstacle and made a way to move, yet many didn’t notice. They were so used to waiting, sharing stories of past miracles, and building a life around that waiting season. They couldn’t see the obstacle was already gone.

Some of the leaders of the people, strong from their own efforts, were aware that something had shifted. They tried to climb with their upper-body strength alone, but they grew tired quickly. They had trained for the wrong challenge.

But there was a different group. They were light-hearted, childlike, always moving, playing, and staying nimble. These were the ones who saw the narrow way open up. Without fear, they slipped through and moved forward because they were ready, curious, and unburdened.

    Application:

Ask yourself, have I become comfortable in a past season? Am I waiting for God to act, when He already has? The obstacle you’ve been praying about might already be gone. This is a season to stay flexible, alert, and willing to move when He says move. Don’t rely on your own strength; walk through the way God has already opened.

“The Lord our God spoke to us at Horeb, saying, ‘You have stayed long enough on this mountain.

    Deuteronomy 1:6 (AMP)

“Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing,
    Now it will spring forth;
Will you not be aware of it?
I will even put a road in the wilderness,
    Rivers in the desert.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Discernment and Compassion

I am teaching you, says the Lord. I am opening your eyes to see the enemy’s tactics to entice people in your family, neighbourhood or church. I am giving you discernment so that you can stand as watchmen, conquer new territory and set the captives free.

However, you need to be careful in the process. I see your heart and I know your love for Me. Even so, pay attention not to mistake your flesh with your spirit. For though your spirit senses that something is “off”, you cannot react instinctively.

I say to you: stop, lean on Me from within, find your balance and ask Me what is the right approach, strategy or spiritual warfare. For you are called to be a reflection of Jesus, I have put you where you are to bring My love and compassion. Don’t make it personal, don’t try to convince with head knowledge only to end up in the adversary’s snare.

Learn instead to release My Kingdom wherever you go and whoever you speak to. Let My fragrance be your wake, allow My love song to win hearts through you. Remember, it’s not by might, but by My Spirit.

    Activation:

Ask the Lord to remind you of those people with whom you haven’t properly followed His Spirit, even though you were right. Repent for having knowingly or unknowingly partnered with your flesh or with the enemy. Then pray for a Spirit-led solution and for further tips on how to lavish His love better.

    The Armor of God

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places.

    Ephesians 6:12 (AMP)

When He saw the crowds, He was moved with compassion and pity for them, because they were dispirited and distressed, like sheep without a shepherd.

    Matthew 9:36 (AMP)

Then he said to me, “This [continuous supply of oil] is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel [prince of Judah], saying, ‘Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit [of whom the oil is a symbol],’ says the LORD of hosts.

    Zechariah 4:6 (AMP)

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Come Away with Me

Imagine you are travelling on a train with the Lord. As you are travelling along you see lots of different signs. Some of these signs are distractions and the difficulty is this: the train stops in response to your attention, giving you time to make a difficult choice. Will you stay on the train with the Lord or will you respond to the call of other things?

Sometimes, even when you stay on the train, you can become distracted and lose your focus. What you focus on is what you become like. The Lord calls you to ‘come away’ from earthly distractions and spend quality time with Him. He has set a banqueting table out just for you to sit at, with Him, and be satisfied.  You have your invitation. Will you come? He is calling you. . . ‘My Beloved, are you coming?’

    Activation:

As you awake greet God and ask Him to lead you, to sit beside the still waters with you.

Do this before you get out of bed if possible. Ask Him what He wants you to know for this day. As you hear from Him, record what He says and then feed on His manna throughout the day. You can repeat this as many times as you find useful. Sometimes it is useful to write down what He says to look back at.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
    You have anointed and refreshed my head with [a]oil;
    My cup overflows.

    Psalm 23:5 (AMP)

    Footnotes

[a] Psalm 23:5 In ancient times it was customary in hot climates for a host to provide his guest with olive oil to put on his head. The Lord blesses and anoints His believers with the Holy Spirit, whom oil symbolizes, to prepare them for His service.

‘The fig tree has budded and ripens her figs,
And the vines are in blossom and give forth their fragrance.
Arise, my love, my fair one,
And come away [to climb the rocky steps of the hillside].’”

    Song of Solomon 2:13 (AMP)

Come close to God [with a contrite heart] and He will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; and purify your [unfaithful] hearts, you double-minded [people].
