Wednesday Morning Prayer (Wk33/2021)

Abba Father, I awake this morning with a heart full of joy, as You have placed another day before me. I glorify, honour, praise and give You thanks. My hope is that today will be better than yesterday, as I look to You for a continual improvement, progression and strengthen as You make me over, once again.

Today, I place myself on the potters wheel and acknowledge that I am a continual work in progress. Help me, Father, so I may continually learn from my errors and realise that if I have You before me, I will always be shown the way. I present myself as a broken vessel needing to be equipped, reworked, strengthened and ready for service. Even though I am broken, I can be made over; ready for whatever plan and purpose is before me. Heavenly Father, may I be obedient for whatever task You prepare me for; may I not look for foolish gain but all for Your Kingdom. What I would ask is that I am a vessel for honourable use. We know not what the future holds but with You as the potter, there is no need to fear. My Father and my God, I trust in You.

1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord:

2 “Arise and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will make you hear My words.”

3 Then I went down to the potter’s house, and saw that he was working at the wheel.

4 But the vessel that he was making from clay was spoiled by the potter’s hand; so he made it over, reworking it and making it into another pot that seemed good to him.

Jeremiah 18:1-3 (AMP)

Does the potter not have the right over the clay, to make from the same lump [of clay] one object for honorable use [something beautiful or distinctive] and another for common use [something ordinary or menial]?

Romans 9:21 (AMP)

For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].

Ephesians 4:10 (AMP)

20 Now may the Elohim of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Yeshua, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),

21 Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Yeshua HaMashiach (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages).

Amen (So be it)

Tuesday Morning Prayer (Wk33/2021)

Abba! Father! I awake this morning giving You all glory, honour thanks and praise. My soul magnifies You and lifts You higher than any other or any thing.

Today, I realise and acknowledge that I am free; there is now, and has always been, no condemnation to those who dwell within Your Son Yeshua HaMashiach. I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. Your Word tells me that he who is free, is free indeed; not just temporarily or slightly but wholly and permanently. I continually attempt to walk after the Spirit and receive Your gifts; walking uprightly; with integrity, strength of character, works of righteousness and holding truth within my heart. Once I do this, I will be ready for every plan and purpose You have for my life. I will be equipped. I will be strengthened. Everything concerning me will be perfected. I stand on Your Word, which will NEVER return to You void; it will accomplish ALL that it is meant to do. My Father and my God, I trust in You, now and forevermore.

He who walks with integrity and strength of character, and works righteousness, and speaks and holds truth in his heart.

Psalm 15:2 (AMP)

1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:1-4 (KJV)

Hebrews 13:20-21 (AMPC)

Monday Morning Scripture (Wk33/2021) – Romans 7:14-25

The Conflict of Two Natures

14 We know that the Law is spiritual, but I am a creature of the flesh [worldly, self-reliant—carnal and unspiritual], sold into slavery to sin [and serving under its control].

15 For I do not understand my own actions [I am baffled and bewildered by them]. I do not practice what I want to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate [and yielding to my human nature, my worldliness—my sinful capacity].

16 Now if I habitually do what I do not want to do, [that means] I agree with the Law, confessing that it is good (morally excellent).

17 So now [if that is the case, then] it is no longer I who do it [the disobedient thing which I despise], but the sin [nature] which lives in me.

18 For I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my flesh [my human nature, my worldliness—my sinful capacity]. For the willingness [to do good] is present in me, but the doing of good is not.

19 For the good that I want to do, I do not do, but I practice the very evil that I do not want.

20 But if I am doing the very thing I do not want to do, I am no longer the one doing it [that is, it is not me that acts], but the sin [nature] which lives in me.

21 So I find it to be the law [of my inner self], that evil is present in me, the one who wants to do good.

22 For I joyfully delight in the law of God in my inner self [with my new nature],

23 but I see a different law and rule of action in the members of my body [in its appetites and desires], waging war against the law of my mind and subduing me and making me a prisoner of the law of sin which is within my members.

24 Wretched and miserable man that I am! Who will [rescue me and] set me free from this body of death [this corrupt, mortal existence]?

25 Thanks be to God [for my deliverance] through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, on the one hand I myself with my mind serve the law of God, but on the other, with my flesh [my human nature, my worldliness, my sinful capacity—I serve] the law of sin.

Monday Morning Prayer (Wk33/2021)

Abba Father, I welcome Your Spirit this morning and give thanks for all You’ve done, are doing and intend to do.

Today, I place my week before You and ask for Your assistance as I walk in Your Spirit and build a fire on my altar. Help me to build an altar, so that nothing I come across will hinder me, as I try to do Your work. Ignite a fire on the altar to burn any hindrances and those within my spirit, so I will be empowered. I thank You for Your men and women, who have made themselves available to You, and are used as channels to speak to me, planting seeds within. Because of them I am able to make myself available to You and surrender all. Open my spirit, so I will hear Your voice this week and not miss a message. I pray that all seeds planted will be watered and that You will provide an increase. As I enter this week, I pray that You will fall afresh on me. My Father and my God, I trust in You.

Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

Luke 10:2 (KJV)

You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed and placed and purposefully planted you, so that you would go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit will remain and be lasting, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name [as My representative] He may give to you.

John 15:16 (AMP)

I planted, Apollos watered, but God [all the while] was causing the growth.

1 Corinthians 3:6 (AMP)

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places.

Ephesians 6:12 (AMP)

Sunday Morning Scripture (Wk32/2021) – Revelation 4 (AMP)

Scene in Heaven

1 After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a [war] trumpet speaking with me, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these things.”

2 At once I was in [special communication with] the Spirit; and behold, a throne stood in heaven, with One seated on the throne.

3 And He who sat there appeared like [the crystalline sparkle of] a jasper stone and [the fiery redness of] a sardius stone, and encircling the throne there was a rainbow that looked like [the color of an] emerald.

4 Twenty-four [other] thrones surrounded the throne; and seated on these thrones were twenty-four elders dressed in white clothing, with crowns of gold on their heads.

The Throne and Worship of the Creator

5 From the throne came flashes of lightning and [rumbling] sounds and peals of thunder. Seven lamps of fire were burning in front of the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God;

6 and in front of the throne there was something like a sea or large expanse of glass, like [the clearest] crystal. In the center and around the throne were four living creatures who were full of eyes in front and behind [seeing everything and knowing everything that is around them].

7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second creature like a calf (ox), the third creature had the face of a man, and the fourth creature was like a flying eagle.

8 And the four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes all over and within [underneath their wings]; and day and night they never stop saying,

“Holy, holy, holy [is the] Lord God, the Almighty [the Omnipotent, the Ruler of all], who was and who is and who is to come [the unchanging, eternal God].”

9 Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanksgiving to Him who sits on the throne, to Him who lives forever and ever,

10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne, and they worship Him who lives forever and ever; and they throw down their crowns before the throne, saying,

11 “Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they exist, and were created and brought into being.”

Revelation 4 (AMP)
