Wednesday Morning Prayer (Wk38/2021)

Righteous Father, I awake this morning to give You glory, honour, thanks and praise. I lift You up and rejoice that I have been given another day to worship, adore and magnify Your Name. Set my feet sturdy and ready as a child of the King, throughout all I do. I anticipate Your presence.

Today, I remain focused on You. Each day, me and my brothers and sisters in Christ, the Messiah, are closer and closer to our redemption drawing near. We know not what the future holds, but what we can be sure of is that our hope is based on nothing less than Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMashiach, and His righteousness. Draw us closer to You, like never before. Keep our minds, hearts and spirits in tune with what is going on in the natural and spiritual realm. I pray that we are covered from head to toe, inside and out; may any openings be sealed. We place this day before You and ask that You go before us. I pray today is the day that Your Holy Spirit will rise up within us, like never before. As we look forward to the day when we shall behold Him, may we set ourselves ready. When we think on You, and go about this day, may we not pray amiss. As there is a switch in the atmosphere, may we be in tune. My Father and my God, we trust in You.

The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and the One who rescues me;

My God, my rock and strength in whom I trust and take refuge;

My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower—my stronghold.

Psalm 18:2 (AMP)

Scene In Heaven

1 After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a [war] trumpet speaking with me, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these things.”

2 At once I was in [special communication with] the Spirit; and behold, a throne stood in heaven, with One seated on the throne.

3 And He who sat there appeared like [the crystalline sparkle of] a jasper stone and [the fiery redness of] a sardius stone, and encircling the throne there was a rainbow that looked like [the color of an] emerald.

4 Twenty-four [other] thrones surrounded the throne; and seated on these thrones were twenty-four elders dressed in white clothing, with crowns of gold on their heads.

Revelations 4:1 (AMP)

20 Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),

21 Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages).

Amen (So be it)

Hebrews 13:20-21 (AMPC)

Wednesday Morning Scripture (Wk38/2021) – Matthew 5:13-20

Disciples and the World

13 “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has lost its taste (purpose), how can it be made salty? It is no longer good for anything, but to be thrown out and walked on by people [when the walkways are wet and slippery].

14 “You are the light of [Christ to] the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden;

15 nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.

16 Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence, and [recognize and honor and] glorify your Father who is in heaven.

17 “Do not think that I came to do away with or undo the Law [of Moses] or the [writings of the] Prophets; I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.

18 For I assure you and most solemnly say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke [of the pen] will pass from the Law until all things [which it foreshadows] are accomplished.

19 So whoever breaks one of the least [important] of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, will be called least [important] in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever practices and teaches them, he will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

20 “For I say to you that unless your righteousness (uprightness, moral essence) is more than that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 5:13-20 (AMP)

Tuesday Morning Prayer (Wk38/2021)

Abba! Father! I awake this morning giving You all glory, honour and praise. I awake to newness of life. I awake accepting every blessing and promise that You have freely given to me. I awake, give thanks, and ask that You fill my cup not just to the brim but as an overflow.

Today, I tap into Your limitless grace, which means I have free, undeserved, limitless favour from You.. I thank You that Your Word tells me that I only need to ask, and I will receive; I only need to seek and I will find; and I only need to knock and the door will be opened to me. I pray that You will be the Ever-present shield, who guards me from all the plans of the enemy. The enemy may try to rush in like a flood and harm me mentally, physically and spiritually, but I ask that You will stand guard at every opening, which may exist and protect me in places I go, conversations I have, people I see and anything that attempts to invade my mind, body and spirit. In the beginning it was a flood that destroyed all flesh but Your chosen, Noah and his family, were saved: they were sheltered by the ark. In like manner, I am covered by my belief in the power of The Blood of Your Son, Yeshua HaMashiach, so no evil can or will befall me. Overtake my spirit and bring it under subjection to You. My Father and my God, I trust in You.

And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.

Genesis 6:17 (AMP)

The Lord is my strength and my [impenetrable] shield; My heart trusts [with unwavering confidence] in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I shall thank Him and praise Him.

Psalm 28:7 (AMP)

19 So they will fear the name of the Lord from the west and His glory from the rising of the sun. For He will come in like a narrow, rushing stream which the breath of the Lord drives [overwhelming the enemy].

20 “A Redeemer (Messiah) will come to Zion,

And to those in Jacob (Israel) who turn from transgression (sin),” declares the Lord.

21 “As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the Lord: “My Spirit which is upon you [writing the law of God on the heart], and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouths of your [true, spiritual] children, nor from the mouth of your children’s children,” says the Lord, “from now and forever.”

Isaiah 59:19 (AMP)

For He (the Father) has put all things in subjection under His (Christ’s) feet. But when He says, “All things have been put in subjection [under Christ],” it is clear that He (the Father) who put all things in subjection to Him (Christ) is excepted [since the Father is not in subjection to His own Son].

1 Corinthians 15:27 (AMP)

Tuesday Morning Scripture (Wk38/2021) – Psalm 52

The Steadfast Love of God Endures

To the choirmaster. A Maskil of David, when Doeg, the Edomite, came and told Saul, “David has come to the house of Ahimelech.”

1 Why do you boast of evil, O mighty man? The steadfast love of God endures all the day.

2 Your tongue plots destruction, like a sharp razor, you worker of deceit.

3 You love evil more than good, and lying more than speaking what is right. Selah

4 You love all words that devour, O deceitful tongue.

5 But God will break you down forever; He will snatch and tear you from your tent; He will uproot you from the land of the living. Selah

6 The righteous shall see and fear, and shall laugh at him, saying,

7 “See the man who would not make God his refuge, but trusted in the abundance of his riches and sought refuge in his own destruction!”

8 But I am like a green olive tree in the House of God. I trust in the steadfast love of God forever and ever.

9 I will thank You forever, because You have done it. I will wait for Your name, for it is good, in the presence of the godly.

Psalm 52 (ESV)
