Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – The Potter and the Clay

Do you feel the touch of My hand upon your heart? Are you willing to allow Me to mould and fashion you according to My design and purpose? Are you willing to lay your life down, to give up your rights, and surrender your will to Mine? Will you bow down to worship and give your life as a living sacrifice?

Upon the Potter’s wheel, your life does spin.
Upheld, moved, and contoured; fashioned from within.
Neither rhyme nor reason at times you do perceive,
But in My love and in My wisdom, your shape is Mine to give.

A vessel fit for purpose,
Consecrated, integral and strong.
Brimming with potential,
That you may release My Kingdom sound and song.

Allow the water of My word to wash you, as my Spirit moves upon your life, to fashion and mould you into the design of My will.

1 This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord:

2 “Go down to the potter’s house, and there I will give you my message.”

3 So I went down to the potter’s house, and I saw him working at the wheel.

4 But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him.

5 Then the word of the Lord came to me.

6 He said, “Can I not do with you, Israel, as this potter does?” declares the Lord. “Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in My hand, Israel.

Jeremiah 18:1-6 (NIV)

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV)

Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.

Isaiah 64:8 (NIV)

Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use?

Romans 9:21 (NIV)

Monday Morning Scripture (Wk14/2022) – Isaiah 40

The Greatness of God

1 “Comfort, O comfort My people,” says your God.

2 “Speak [1]tenderly to Jerusalem, and call out to her, that her time of compulsory service in warfare is finished, that her wickedness has been taken away [since her punishment is sufficient], that she has received from the Lord’s hand double [punishment] for all her sins.”

3 A voice of one is calling out, “Clear the way for the Lord in the wilderness [remove the obstacles]; Make straight and smooth in the desert a highway for our God.

4 “Every valley shall be raised, and every mountain and hill be made low; and let the rough ground become a plain, and the rugged places a broad valley.

5 “And the glory and majesty and splendor of the Lord will be revealed, and all humanity shall see it together; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.”

6 A voice says, “Call out [prophesy].” Then he answered, “What shall I call out?” [The voice answered:] All humanity is [as frail as] grass, and all that makes it attractive [its charm, its loveliness] is [momentary] like the flower of the field.

7 The grass withers, the flower fades, when the breath of the Lord blows upon it; most certainly [all] the people are [like] grass.

8 The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever.

9 O Zion, herald of good news, get up on a high mountain. O Jerusalem, herald of good news, lift up your voice with strength, lift it up, do not fear; say to the cities of Judah, “Here is your God!”

10 Listen carefully, the Lord God will come with might, and His arm will rule for Him. Most certainly His reward is with Him, and His restitution accompanies Him.

11 He will protect His flock like a shepherd, He will gather the lambs in His arm, He will carry them in His bosom; He will gently and carefully lead those nursing their young.

12 Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand, and marked off the heavens with a span [of the hand], and calculated the dust of the earth with a [2]measure, and weighed the mountains in a balance and the hills in a pair of scales?

13 Who has directed the Spirit of the Lord, or has taught Him as His counselor?

14 With whom did He consult and who enlightened Him? Who taught Him the path of justice and taught Him knowledge and informed Him of the way of understanding?

15 In fact, the nations are like a drop from a bucket, and are regarded as a speck of dust on the scales; now look, He lifts up the islands like fine dust.

16 And [the forests of] Lebanon cannot supply sufficient fuel to start a fire, nor are its wild beasts enough for a burnt offering [worthy of the Lord].

17 All the nations are as nothing before Him, they are regarded by Him as less than nothing and meaningless.

18 To whom then will you liken God? Or with what likeness will you compare Him?

19 As for the cast image (idol), a metalworker casts it, a goldsmith overlays it with gold and a silversmith casts its silver chains.

20 He who is too impoverished for such an offering [to give to his god] chooses a tree that will not rot; He seeks out for himself a skillful craftsman to [carve and] set up an idol that will not totter.

21 Do you [who worship idols] not know? Have you not heard? Has it not been told to you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth [the omnipotence of God and the stupidity of bowing to idols]?

22 It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; [It is He] who stretches out the heavens like a veil and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.

23 It is He who reduces dignitaries to nothing, Who makes the judges (rulers) of the earth meaningless (useless).

24 Scarcely have they been planted, scarcely have they been sown, scarcely has their stock taken root in the earth, but He merely blows on them, and they wither, and a strong wind carries them away like stubble.

25 “To whom then will you compare Me that I would be his equal?” says the Holy One.

26 Lift up your eyes on high and see who has created these heavenly bodies, The One who brings out their host by number, He calls them all by name; because of the greatness of His might and the strength of His power, not one is missing.

27 Why, O Jacob, do you say, and declare, O Israel, “My way is hidden from the Lord, and the justice due me escapes the notice of my God”?

28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become tired or grow weary; there is no searching of His understanding.

29 He gives strength to the weary, and to him who has no might He increases power.

30 Even youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly,

31 But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] will gain new strength and renew their power; they will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; they will run and not become weary, they will walk and not grow tired.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Multifaceted

I am a multifaceted God! You know what you have experienced of who I am in past seasons, and this is precious to you. But now I am calling you onwards. Come higher, further, and deeper, and plumb the depths of who I am. Further facets of My character will be illuminated to you in your daily walk with Me. Expect fresh revelation and experiential knowledge and understanding of Who I am for you now, in this season.

See!
I am the God of the impossible,
I am the God of wonders,
I am the God of the miraculous,
I am the God who hears and sees,
I am the God of more than enough,
I am the God who walks and talks with you, as one walks and talks with his friend.

I will surround you and uphold you in this season. Continue to pursue me, the lover of your soul. Lift up your eyes and look into my face and I will reveal further facets of who I am.

Prayer and Activation: Ask the Lord “How do You want to reveal yourself to me right now Lord, in this season?” Listen and see what He wants to reveal to you.

Don’t you know? Haven’t you heard? The LORD is the eternal God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not grow tired or weary; and his understanding cannot be fathomed.

Isaiah 40:28 (ISV)

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Time To Move

I am firing the starting pistol! It’s time to go! It is time to put your weight on your front foot, for now is the time to move. You will see a great acceleration of change as the sands of time fall swiftly to the conclusion of this season. A sudden turnaround and shift is now upon you My Bride, as I release fresh assignments, release from past-season partnerships and fresh vision and perspective for the season ahead.

You are moving from glory to glory. Do not mourn excessively over the past season, but release that which has gone past to me and allow me to reconcile those things that you cannot reconcile in your own strength.

I will uphold you in the transition. As you fix your gaze upon Me, so there will come an ease of movement. Moving into the revelation that I have granted to you and taking steps to move forward is the key. I will be with you every step of the way, and I will place markers along your path as guideposts. Trust Me! Trust My hand and My guidance over you and I will lead you to enter into the promised land.

Moses My servant is dead; so now arise, cross this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them, to the sons of Israel.

Joshua 1:2 (NASB)

He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. He has also planted eternity [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]

Ecclesiastes 3:11 (AMP)

Call to Me, and I will answer and show you great and unsearchable things you do not know.

Friday Morning Scripture (Wk14/2022) – Joshua 1:1-9

God’s Commission to Joshua

1 Now it happened after the death of Moses the servant of the Lord, that the Lord spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ servant (attendant), saying,

2 “Moses My servant is dead; now therefore [1]arise [to take his place], cross over this Jordan, you and all this people, into the land which I am giving to them, to the [2]sons of Israel.

3 I have given you every place on which the sole of your foot treads, just as I promised to Moses.

4 From the wilderness [of Arabia in the south] and this Lebanon [in the north], even as far as the great river, the river Euphrates [in the east], all the land of the [3]Hittites (Canaan), and as far as the Great [Mediterranean] Sea toward the west shall be your territory.

5 No man will [be able to] stand before you [to oppose you] as long as you live. Just as I was [present] with Moses, so will I be with you; I will not fail you or abandon you.

6 Be strong and confident and courageous, for you will give this people as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers (ancestors) to give them.

7 Only be strong and very courageous; be careful to do [everything] in accordance with the entire law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may prosper and be successful wherever you go.

8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall read [and meditate on] it day and night, so that you may be careful to do [everything] in accordance with all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will be [4]successful.

9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified or dismayed (intimidated), for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Joshua 1:1-9 (AMP)

Footnotes

  1. Joshua 1:2 The Hebrew verb “arise” is an instruction to get ready to fulfill a command, somewhat similar to the military command “attention.”
  2. Joshua 1:2 In general, sons (children) of Israel or Israel or Israelites refers to all the people (males and females) of the various tribes descended from the twelve sons (Gen 35:23-26) of Jacob (later renamed Israel by God). In verses concerning things such as warfare or circumcision sons of Israel or Israel or Israelites usually refers only to the males. A tribe of ancient people was identified by the name of its founding ancestor. Therefore, this same general rule applies when referring to individual tribal groups, e.g. sons of Reuben, Reuben, Reubenites and so throughout.
  3. Joshua 1:4 These Hittites are believed to be the descendants of Heth, a son of Canaan who was the youngest son of Ham. Canaan was cursed to a life of servitude by his grandfather Noah because of Ham’s act of disrespect for Noah. Gen 9:22-27.
  4. Joshua 1:8 God’s formula leading to Joshua’s success is clearly outlined in vv 5-9.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Forgiveness

Yesterday we spoke about my mercy.

Today I want to help you where you are wrestling with forgiveness.

You know already how healing forgiveness is, you know the scriptures and you are following my examples of forgiveness.

And yet still it’s a struggle.

For some of you it’s the enormity of the trauma, for others it’s the daily repetitiveness of similar themes which are making this so hard. I’ve seen you in tears as you keep trying to forgive. My mercy wants to help you.

Come meet the ultimate forgiver, Jesus.

Come walk and talk with Jesus and receive his grace to forgive. This time it will be different because you are not going to forgive with your will alone but my son’s strength and eternal powerful forgiveness is going to flood through you.

Activation: Become aware of Jesus with you. Thank him for being close and now ask for his help to forgive. Lean into his strength, you can see in the spirit to hold his hand, or rest close to him, sense his presence of peace and power. Now let the ultimate forgiver release his forgiveness into you so you can forgive.

Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”

Luke 23:34 (NIV)
