Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Throw Off the Grave Clothes

Beloved, Hear My voice calling. I’m calling you up and out from the place of containment and confinement. Allow My word of life to resonate through your very being. I am reordering and aligning some neuropathways that have become a hindrance to your movement. I am bringing freedom where your decision making capacity has been hindered, held captive by fear and anxiety. Feel the weight of My love shift you into a place of ease and clarity. I am removing what is old and stale. I am lifting the heaviness from you.

This is the day to allow the things that carry a smell of death and decay to be left behind. The old garments cannot come with you to where I am leading you. Today I release life over you. I have new garments for you to wear that will equip you for the days to come. I am unravelling the garments you have chosen to wear. I am also unravelling the garments that have wrongfully been put on to you that have hindered you for far too long. Allow Me to clothe you again, to cleanse and purify you. Throw off the grave clothes and put on what is rightfully yours.

Activation:

Ask Holy Spirit to show you where you are wearing old garments from past seasons. Allow yourself to meet with Holy Spirit in this place as you work together to allow him to unravel the old garments from around you. Ask Him what you were wearing and what He wants to clothe you with in its place? Ask Him why He is clothing you in the new garments for the season ahead.

43 When He had said this, He shouted with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!”

44 Out came the man who had been dead, his hands and feet tightly wrapped in burial cloths (linen strips), and with a [burial] cloth wrapped around his face. Jesus said to them, “Unwrap him and release him.”

John 11:43-44 (AMP)

I will rejoice greatly in the LORD,
My soul will exult in my God;
For He has clothed me with garments of salvation,
He has covered me with a robe of righteousness,
As a bridegroom puts on a [a]turban,
And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – I Delight in You

I have known you before you were in your mother’s womb! Beloved, you are whom I delight in. I chose you before you chose Me. I want to remind you that I will continue to choose you. My love for you is unwavering, steadfast, and relentless. I cherish that you are unique and beautiful from the tips of your toes to the top of your head. When you wake in the morning, I am so excited to hear your voice. Today and every day, know that I am for you! Remember that if I am for you, who can stand against you!

Can you feel Me even now as I hold your hand and remind you that I am proud of you. Feel My presence close to you as I lean in and remind you how I see you.

Activation:

Take some time to look for Jesus in the room, become more aware of His presence. What is He doing? What is He saying? Rest in this space with Him and allow Him to remind you afresh how He sees you and listen to the things He wants to share with you.

Take some time to pray:

“Father, I receive Your delight in me. I am not overlooked. I am not abandoned. I am not second best. I am chosen, cherished, and celebrated in heaven. I silence every voice that says otherwise. I silence the spirit of shame that has tried to weigh me down with lies. I hear Your words echo over my life: ‘I am so proud of you.’ I repent for every time I’ve doubted Your affection or tried to earn Your approval. Today, I rest in the truth that I am fully accepted, fully wanted, fully Yours. In the Name of Jesus Christ, I receive the truth that You are proud of me. Let my life be rooted in the revelation that I am Your beloved child in whom You delight. In Jesus’ Name, amen.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you [and approved of you as My chosen instrument],
And before you were born I consecrated you [to Myself as My own];
I have appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

Jeremiah 1:5 (AMP)

14 I will give thanks and praise to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well.

15 My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was being formed in secret,
And intricately and skillfully formed [as if embroidered with many colors] in the depths of the earth.

16 Your eyes have seen my unformed substance;
And in Your book were all written
The days that were appointed for me,
When as yet there was not one of them [even taking shape].

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Hope Restored

It is time to pick up the things that have been discarded and forgotten. A time to remember the dreams and the words that I have given you. There is a deeper level of fulfilment coming in this season. I am bringing a fresh charge into boldly chasing after Me and My promises.

I see places where hope deferred has led to disappointment and dullness. I can see that you were once excited by the things of the Kingdom but now they feel dull. Today I am breaking off discouragement and hope deferred. I am releasing you into a freedom to have Zeal for My house and the Kingdom once again. I now call you into the place of pushing forward in faith with excitement refreshed for the things ahead.

Reach out to Me and touch the hem of My garment in faith. Know that I will never let My Word return void to you. I am refreshing weariness and restoring hope to you today.

Activation:

Ask the Lord to remind you of His promises over your life and where they might be fulfilled. Sit with Him and allow your faith to increase to see these words come to pass. Ask Him the next steps in partnering with Him to do all He is asking of you.

10 “For as the rain and snow come down from heaven,
And do not return there without watering the earth,
Making it bear and sprout,
And providing seed to the sower and bread to the eater,

11 So will My word be which goes out of My mouth;
It will not return to Me void (useless, without result),
Without accomplishing what I desire,
And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.

Isaiah 55:10-11 (AMP)

11 For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the LORD, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

12 Then you will call on Me and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear [your voice] and I will listen to you.

13 Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Faithful Prayers

My children, How long have you been praying for your family members’ salvation? How long have you been praying for the prodigal sons and daughters to come home? How long have you pleaded to Me for those you love who are lost in addiction and things that steal their attention from Me? I have heard your prayers. I have seen your tears. Do not be discouraged and do not give up. My love for those ones burns deeply. My hand is upon them despite their current circumstances.

I am a merciful God – I will not leave them or forsake them. My timings are perfect and I am without mistake. There is nothing random about My timings. In the fullness of time you will see your loved ones calling out to Me. You will see Me answer their cries for help and in turn answer your prayers. Your years of longing will be blessed. My heart yearns for the prodigals to come home to Me and they will!

Activation:

Ask God to increase your faith in Him for those that Holy spirit brought to mind as you received the Word above. Pray for those in your life who you long to see have deep personal relationships with the Lord. Choose to trust Him afresh for the salvation of those you love that God has put on your heart. Keep praying for those you long to see saved until you feel God’s peace land as a sign of your prayers answered.

This Is Written That You May Know

13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God [which represents all that Jesus Christ is and does], so that you will know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that you [already] have eternal life.

14 This is the [remarkable degree of] confidence which we [as believers are entitled to] have before Him: that [a]if we ask anything according to His will, [that is, consistent with His plan and purpose] He hears us.

15 And if we know [for a fact, as indeed we do] that He hears and listens to us in whatever we ask, we [also] know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted to us] the requests which we have asked from Him.

1 John 5:13-15 (AMP)

Footnotes

[a] 1 John 5:14 Confident, abiding faith combined with God’s power can produce amazing results, if the request is in harmony with God’s will. God is fully capable of doing that which man regards as impossible (Mark 14:36; James 4:3).

For the promise [of the Holy Spirit] is for you and your children and for all who are far away [including the Gentiles], as many as the Lord our God calls to Himself.”

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – I Am Watching Over You

As a shepherd watches over his flock, I too watch over you. I watch your coming and your goings. I care deeply about the places in which I have positioned you. Don’t you know that I, the Lord Your God, am the one who positions you. I have repositioned many of you and you have known what it looks like to live a life laid down, dying to yourself and living for Me alone.

I position you with power and authority. I have made no mistake in placing you in the areas and locations that I have. Do not doubt that I am the One who has placed you exactly where I needed you to be to serve My Kingdom purpose and My agenda in the earth realm at this time. Remember that you are in partnership with Me and when you feel out of My timings or out of alignment with Me I want you to come directly to Me.

I know you deeply, every movement and every moment you encounter but still I want you to come to Me for a heart to heart connection and to allow My Spirit to lead and guide you in all you do. This is a time of togetherness with Me and  deeper connection.  The cost is high in this season and you have been willing to count the cost and pay it dearly.

I am forever with you. Mark My words I am with you always! Do not stray from the path I have placed you on. Do not move out of My will but continue to walk in the ways I am leading and guiding you in. Do not give up when the positioning becomes painful. I will strengthen you and give you everything you need to stand firm and to not be shaken from the positions I have given you.

Activation:

Take a moment to pause and reflect on the assignments that God has asked you to complete in this season. Ask Him whether you are positioned where He wants you to be. If you feel you are not or haven’t been obedient to His leading and guiding, take time to repent and ask Him to release to you the next steps of what He wants from you at this time. If you are positioned where He has asked you to be then take time to stand upright, firmly aware of your feet planted in Him and on Him.

Reflect on what your current assignment is. What has God asked you to partner with Him in? Where are you positioned and what the purpose is? Allow Holy Spirit to meet with you in this space. He may wish to remind you of the reasons you are where you are. He may wish to encourage you or engage you in conversation. Allow yourself to be led in whatever direction Holy Spirit takes you.

14 I am the Good Shepherd, and I know [without any doubt those who are] My own and My own know Me [and have a deep, personal relationship with Me]

15 even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father—and I lay down My [very own] life [sacrificing it] for the benefit of the sheep.

John 10:14-15 (AMP)

28 And I give them eternal life, and they will never, ever [by any means] perish; and no one will ever snatch them out of My hand.

29 [i]My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater and mightier than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

30 I and the Father are One [in essence and nature].

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – The Belt of Truth

My Warriors, I am securing you in My words in these coming days so that you will not be shaken by the circumstances around you. I want for you to set your face like flint and to be firmly rooted in Me and Me alone. I want nothing of mixture to mislead you.

I want you to know My voice so deeply and to be able to discern anything of distraction or deception in these days so that nothing is able to lead you astray. I am asking you to wield your weapons and to be fully equipped with every piece of armour I give you. Armour for your protection but also for the protection of those in your care.

You must ready yourself and steady yourself in Me and Me alone. What does it look like to be fully secure, and secured in Me? What does the belt of Truth securing you at your very core feel like? Does it feel sturdy and safe? The belt of Truth is an anchor point, it is a secure position to hold you firm and to keep you safe.

I ask you to wrap the truth of My Word around everything that you are and everything that you do. Be secured in My Words and so sure of the truth that it holds you firmly in these days, and you can do the same for those around you. I will keep you safe and secure in these days, Hold fast to the Truth and let nothing of deception lead you astray.

Activation:

Meditate on the following Scripture. Take time to think about the significance of the armour God gives us and why it is so important in the coming days to know how to live and breathe in our armour daily. Take time to meditate on the belt of truth, the security of truth around your waist holding you up and holding you in position. Where do you or others in your life or in the world need the belt of truth to hold and secure them, spend time praying into whatever Holy Spirit brings to mind. Remember in God’s truth, You are secured and you are safe.

11 Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil.

12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places.

13 Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to [successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger], and having done everything [that the crisis demands], to stand firm [in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious].

14 So stand firm and hold your ground, having [a]tightened the wide band of truth (personal integrity, moral courage) around your waist and having put on the breastplate of righteousness (an upright heart),

15 and having [b]strapped on your feet the gospel of peace in preparation [to face the enemy with firm-footed stability and the readiness produced by the good news].

16 Above all, lift up the [protective] [c]shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

18 With all prayer and petition pray [with specific requests] at all times [on every occasion and in every season] in the Spirit, and with this in view, stay alert with all perseverance and petition [interceding in prayer] for all [d]God’s people.

19 And pray for me, that words may be given to me when I open my mouth, to proclaim boldly the mystery of the good news [of salvation],

20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. And pray that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly and courageously, as I should.

Ephesians 6:11-20 (AMP)

Footnotes

[a] Ephesians 6:14 Lit girded your loins, a phrase often found in the Bible, is an urgent call to get ready for immediate action or a coming event. The phrase is related to the type of clothing worn in ancient times. Before any vigorous activity the loose ends of clothing (tunics, cloaks, mantles, etc.) had to be gathered up and tucked into the wide band worn around the midsection of the body. The band (usually about six inches wide) also served as a kind of pocket or pouch to carry personal items such as a dagger, money or other necessary things. Gird up your mind or gird up your heart are examples of variants of this phrase and call for mental or spiritual preparation for a coming challenge.

[c] Ephesians 6:16 Here the Greek word refers to the large Roman soldiers’ shield designed to protect the entire body. It had an iron frame and was covered in several layers of leather. When soaked in water before a battle the shield could put out the fiery missiles thrown at them by the enemy.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – A Double-Edged Sword

My warriors, Do you not know that I have trained your hands for war. You are ready and able to fight the good fight and to stand firm, secured in the Truth of My Word despite the shaking in this season. We are coming into days where you must be fully equipped, wearing the whole armour of God and wielding sharpened swords.

When I speak to you about sharpening your sword ready to be weaponised by Heaven, I am speaking to you about sharpening your knowledge of My word, The Bible, Kingdom truth! You must remember that in the Kingdom we wield weapons differently. We speak Truth and we always come in the opposing spirit. In order to come in the opposing spirit you must know the truth written in My Word and understand what the opposites in the kingdom look like. You must be ready at short notice to stand firm in My truth, when you know the truth of My Word you are able to fight differently and stand differently, secured in the words I speak and the promises I keep.

Do you not know that My people fight differently, Truth is a double-edged sword that cuts through the confusion of the days ahead and moves in the opposing spirit than the spirit of the age.

It is time to get sharp. I am asking you now to take seriously the study of the Word of God, to digest My words and to have truth written on your insides so that you can live out Kingdom structure in your every day. I want the living breathing Word of God within My truth tellers. This is an equipping season and a time to make yourselves ready as the days are coming when you will need to have the belt of truth fastened tightly around your waist to secure you and anchor others.

Activation

Take some time today to read your Bible and read the scriptures below. Reflect on what the opposing spirit means and then write a list, such as ‘We know that in the Bible it says that perfect love drives out fear and we know that Order opposes chaos.’

Allow Holy Spirit to lead you as you explore your Bible and write a list from what you find. When you come into an atmosphere do not allow it to shake you but remember you are weaponised by heaven and can speak Order into chaos, perfect love into fear and you are equipped with truth to be an atmosphere shifter and lifter.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places.

Ephesians 6:12 (AMP)

12 For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged [a]sword, penetrating as far as the division of the [b]soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.

13 And not a creature exists that is concealed from His sight, but all things are open and exposed, and revealed to the eyes of Him with whom we have to give account.

Hebrews 4:12-13 (AMP)

Footnotes

[a] Hebrews 4:12 In addition to “sword,” the word in Greek was used for the knife used by the priests to slit the throats of the sacrificial lambs and for the knife (scalpel) used by a surgeon.

Wednesday Morning Scripture – Hebrews 4

    The Believer’s Rest

1 Therefore, while the promise of entering His rest still remains and is freely offered today, let us fear, in case any one of you may seem to come short of reaching it or think he has come too late.

2 For indeed we have had the good news [of salvation] preached to us, just as the Israelites also [when the good news of the promised land came to them]; but the message they heard did not benefit them, because it was not united with faith [in God] by those who heard.

3 For we who believe [that is, we who personally trust and confidently rely on God] enter that rest [so we have His inner peace now because we are confident in our salvation, and assured of His power], just as He has said,

“AS I SWORE [an oath] IN MY WRATH,
THEY SHALL NOT ENTER MY REST,”

[this He said] although His works were [a]completed from the foundation of the world [waiting for all who would believe].

    4 For somewhere [in Scripture] He has said this about the seventh day: “AND GOD RESTED ON THE SEVENTH DAY FROM ALL HIS WORKS”;

5 and again in this, “THEY SHALL NOT ENTER MY REST.”

6 Therefore, since the promise remains for some to enter His rest, and those who formerly had the good news preached to them failed to [grasp it and did not] enter because of [their unbelief evidenced by] disobedience,

7 He again sets a definite day, [a new] “Today,” [providing another opportunity to enter that rest by] saying through David after so long a time, just as has been said before [in the words already quoted],

“TODAY IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE,
    DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS.”

8 [This mention of a rest was not a reference to their entering into Canaan.] For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not speak about another day [of opportunity] after that.

9 So there remains a [full and complete] Sabbath rest for the people of God.

10 For the one who has once entered His rest has also rested from [the weariness and pain of] his [human] labors, just as God rested from [those labors uniquely] His own.

11 Let us therefore make every effort to enter that rest [of God, to know and experience it for ourselves], so that no one will fall by following the same example of disobedience [as those who died in the wilderness].

12 For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged [b]sword, penetrating as far as the division of the [c]soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.

13 And not a creature exists that is concealed from His sight, but all things are open and exposed, and revealed to the eyes of Him with whom we have to give account.

14 Inasmuch then as we [believers] have a great High Priest who has [already ascended and] passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession [of faith and cling tenaciously to our absolute trust in Him as Savior].

15 For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize and understand our weaknesses and temptations, but One who has been tempted [knowing exactly how it feels to be human] in every respect as we are, yet without [committing any] sin.

16 Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment].

    Hebrews 4:1-16 (AMP)

    Footnotes

[a] Hebrews 4:3 God “rested” because everything that needed to be done was done—everything was complete, fully accomplished. In human terms this expression is used when a lawyer completes his presentation in a court of law; he “rests” his case—everything is in evidence, there is nothing left to present.

[b] Hebrews 4:12 In addition to “sword,” the word in Greek was used for the knife used by the priests to slit the throats of the sacrificial lambs and for the knife (scalpel) used by a surgeon.

[c] Hebrews 4:12 “soul and spirit” used here to emphasize the whole person, not two separate entities as in other passages.

      The Armor/Armour of YHWH

10 In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might.

11 Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

18 With all prayer and petition pray [with specific requests] at all times [on every occasion and in every season] in the Spirit, and with this in view, stay alert with all perseverance and petition [interceding in prayer] for all [4]God’s people.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – You Are Not Finished Yet

I see you. I see the weariness that is on your body. I see that you want to give up. For some of you it has been years, or months and even days where you have wanted to give up. I hear your voice saying, “I cannot do this anymore”. But I say, you’re not finished yet.

I am with you. Just as I was with Moses and Aaron, as they went to Pharaoh to set My people free from Egypt. I am with you. My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.

I want you to remember that it is not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit. I will lead you, and guide you always. I am your sustainer and your helper. Keep going. Today I invite you to see what I am giving you, to help you, to show you that I will do wonders in you, just as I did with Moses. Keep going.  Run your race. You are not finished yet.

      Activation:

Moses was eighty years old and Aaron was eighty-three years old when God called them to go to Egypt and set the people of God free. Today God wants to remind you that He has a plan and purpose for your life, no matter your age or circumstances.

God gave Moses a staff in which God used to appear and show His miracles and wonders to the Egyptians. Moses and Aaron were obedient to the Lord when He asked them to step out, God showed up. Spend time in worship and praise to God, then look in the Spirit. Ask Jesus what your staff looks like. Take time with Him to look at the colours, ask Him questions. What are the colours, what do they mean? Write down what He shares with you, then be obedient and step out in faith, doing what God has directed you to do, knowing He will be with you every step of the way.

Then he said to me, “This [continuous supply of oil] is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel [prince of Judah], saying, ‘Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit [of whom the oil is a symbol],’ says the LORD of hosts.

      Zechariah 4:6 (AMP)

28 “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened [by religious rituals that provide no peace], and I will give you rest [refreshing your souls with salvation].

29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me [following Me as My disciple], for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest (renewal, blessed quiet) for your souls.

30 For My yoke is easy [to bear] and My burden is light.”
