Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Watch the Picture Emerge

You have spent years gradually setting up the different facets of your journey; one step at a time we have been building your story together. There were times you took wrong turns or we made a detour. Often it didn’t look like you expected and sometimes you thought you were alone – but you never were.

For many it feels like endlessly waiting for it all to make sense, hoping for the mighty rushing wind, holding on for the glorious breakthrough. Yes – it seems like a long time coming.

Hand me afresh the parts of your life that don’t make sense to you; submit to me your story-so-far and watch what I am doing with it. Not one moment will be wasted; not one tear shed was missed by my watch and every year lost will be restored to you.

Soon, the crescendo of my victory will break through like never before and you will see the power of the picture I have been painting. You will stand strong and whole, and the majestic mosaic of your destiny in me will be clear for all to see.

It won’t be long now. At that perfect moment, one touch from me will bring it all together

You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.

Psalm 56:8 (NLT)

I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten— the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm — my great army that I sent among you.

Joel 2:25 (NIV)

I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

Psalm 27:13 (NIV)

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Turnaround Time

I am in the turning. The turning of the world on its axis; the turning of your situation; the turning of your heart towards me; the turning towards the new. I am the one who turns the soil, ready for planting, so in the last season I have ploughed and turned the ground ready for now. I am the God of the turnaround. Turn to me and see, I am turning my attention to the cries and the hearts of my people, those who are crying out for justice and mercy. I am turning mindsets and places where you have felt stuck and at a dead end with no-where to go. I will open up a new way. I will begin to turn every impossibility around and every situation that seems hopeless. I will turn your mourning into dancing, for nothing is impossible for me.

Activation: Begin to declare that God is the God of the turnaround. Declare a turnaround for every difficult situation and begin to declare specifically for your own individual situation where you need a miracle.

You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy.

Psalm 30:11 (NLT)

Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God and there is no other.

Isaiah 45:22 (NIV)

Friday Morning Scripture (Wk12/2022) – Isaiah 45:18-25

God’s Supreme Power

14 For this is what the Lord says,

The products of Egypt and the merchandise of Cush (ancient Ethiopia) and the Sabeans, men of stature, will come over to you and they will be yours; they will walk behind you, in chains [of subjection to you] they will come over, and they will bow down before you; they will make supplication to you, [humbly and earnestly] saying, [1]‘Most certainly God is with you, and there is no other, no other God [besides Him].’”

15 Truly, You are a God who hides Himself, O God of Israel, Savior!

16 They will be put to shame and also humiliated, all of them; they who make idols will go away together in humiliation.

17 Israel has been saved by the Lord with an everlasting salvation; You will not be put to shame or humiliated for all eternity.

18 For the Lord, who created the heavens [2](He is God, who formed the earth and made it; He established it and did not create it to be a wasteland, but formed it to be inhabited) says this, “I am the Lord, and there is no one else.

19 “I have not spoken in secret, in a corner of a land of darkness; I did not say to the descendants of Jacob, ‘Seek Me in vain [with no benefit for yourselves].’ I, the Lord, speak righteousness [the truth—trustworthy, a straightforward correlation between deeds and words], declaring things that are upright.

20 “Assemble yourselves and come; come together, you survivors of the nations! They are ignorant, who carry around their wooden idols [in religious processions or into battle] and keep on praying to a god that cannot save them.

21 “Declare and present your defense of idols; indeed, let them consult together. Who announced this [rise of Cyrus and his conquests] long before it happened? Who declared it long ago? Was it not I, the Lord? And there is no other God besides Me, a [consistently and uncompromisingly] just and righteousness God and a Savior; there is none except Me.

22 “Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.

23 “I have sworn [an oath] by Myself, The word is gone out of My mouth in righteousness and shall not return, that to Me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear [allegiance].

24 “It shall be said of Me, ‘Only in the Lord are righteousness and strength.’ To Him people will come, and all who were angry at Him will be put to shame.

25 “In the Lord all the offspring of Israel will be justified (declared free of guilt) and will glory [in God].”

Isaiah 45:14-25 (AMP)

Footnotes

  1. Isaiah 45:14 These words foretell the fact that salvation will be available to believing Gentiles, as well as Jews.
  2. Isaiah 45:18 Longer parenthetical passages such as this one are in the Hebrew text, and should not be confused with the general use of parentheses as a way to define or modify the previous word or group of words.

Thursday Morning Prayer (Wk12/2022)

Abba Father, I come before You, giving all glory, honour and praise. I thank You for the blessing of another day and praise You because You are great. I praise You because You are my comfort and protector and I thank You for forgiving me of all sin whether they be of thought, word or deed; known and unknown; seen and unseen. I worship You. You are the God of morning, noon and night; You are my God. Heaven and earth may pass away but You, and Your Word, will remain; unchanged.

Today, as my eyes are open to what I face each and every day, I put You before every task and person I am to meet. Your Word tells me that I wrestle not again flesh and blood but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of the present darkness. I pray that You cover me from the hairs on my head to the soles of my feet, inside and out, with Your Holy Spirit. Though I walk in the shadows of death I fear no thing nor anybody, for You are with me. As I look to the left and the right may the only thing I see and be aware of is The Blood and its properties of protection. Never has there been a time that I have needed to be covered in The Blood of Your Son Jesus Christ. I place every member of my family before You; whether they be family by spirit or blood. I request that You cover them and saturate their spirit and soul with Your Holy Spirit. I pray that today, they will receive a revelation of Your saving grace, the powers which exist and what they are up against. May they lean not on their own understanding but on Yours; with true confidence in You and Your power. We are covered by Your Mighty Hand and in You may we put all our trust.

“No weapon that is formed against you will succeed; And every tongue that rises against you in judgment you will condemn. This [peace, righteousness, security, and triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And this is their vindication from Me,” says the Lord.

Isaiah 54:17 (AMP)

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places.

Ephesians 6:12 (AMP)

3 For though we walk in the flesh [as mortal men], we are not carrying on our [spiritual] warfare according to the flesh and using the weapons of man.

4 The weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood]. Our weapons are divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.

5 We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ,

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (AMP)

20 Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),

21 Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages).

Amen (So be it)

Hebrews 13:20-21 (AMP)

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Mourn No More

The old has gone! Why do you keep looking for it and mourning the debris of old irrelevant structures and methods? It is gone, so rejoice! Allow me to brush away the dust and the dirt that was left behind and let me clean my house. Pause here, and trust me to tie up the loose ends.

Ask me what is left in the rubble that needs dealt with, where does your soul hearken back to and what is still nipping at your heels and keeping you bound? Let me breathe my healing power into the residue of your yesterdays. Then you will be ready for the new things I have prepared for you.

“I’m baptising you here in the river, turning your old life in for a kingdom life. The real action comes next: The main character in this drama—compared to him I’m a mere stagehand—will ignite the kingdom life within you, a fire within you, the Holy Spirit within you, changing you from the inside out. He’s going to clean house—make a clean sweep of your lives. He’ll place everything true in its proper place before God; everything false he’ll put out with the trash to be burned.”

Matthew 3:11-12 (MSG)

See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

Isaiah 43:19 (NIV)

Wednesday Morning Scripture (Wk12/2022) – Psalm 56

Supplication for Rescue and Grateful Trust in God.

1 Be gracious to me, O God, for man has trampled on me; all day long the adversary oppresses and torments me.

2 My enemies have trampled upon me all day long, for they are many who fight proudly against me.

3 When I am afraid, I will put my trust and faith in You.

4 In God, whose word I praise; in God I have put my trust; I shall not fear. What can mere man do to me?

5 All day long they twist my words and say hurtful things; all their thoughts are against me for evil.

6 They attack, they hide and lurk, they watch my steps, as they have [expectantly] waited to take my life.

7 Cast them out because of their wickedness. In anger bring down the peoples, O God!

8 You have taken account of my wanderings; put my tears in Your bottle. Are they not recorded in Your book?

9 Then my enemies will turn back in the day when I call; this I know, that God is for me.

10 In God, whose word I praise, In the Lord, whose word I praise,

11 In God have I put my trust and confident reliance; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

12 Your vows are binding upon me, O God; I will give thank offerings to You.

13 For You have rescued my soul from death, Yes, and my feet from stumbling, So that I may walk before God in the light of life.

Psalm 56:1-12 (AMP)

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Tears In A Bottle

My people, I see your tears. They are in my bottle. Those tears you didn’t understand when you were two years old or the frustrations when you ran away to cry and life’s difficulties where you were pressed for answers that you didn’t have.

Call to me for healing, learn what I thought when you cried tears and in times when you did not allow tears to fall. I was there as I am now. Hold on to me and praise me when tears are nearby.

Come, weep, but don’t leave it there. Trust that praising Me is a mighty weapon of subterfuge against the enemy. Take aim with your voice, with words, song and musical instruments, that your heart may be restored, and so the enemy of your soul flees.

Activation: Reflect on your most frequent reaction to tears, in yourself, or others close by. For example, do you refuse to praise God because it doesn’t feel easy? Ask God what spiritual resources you could develop for future times of need.

You have kept count of my tossings, put my tears in your bottle. Are they not in your book? Then my enemies will turn back in the day when I call. This I know, that God is for me. In God, whose word I praise, in the Lord, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can man do to me?’

Psalm 56:8-11 (ESV)

Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise

Wednesday Morning Scripture (Wk12/2022) – Psalm 20

7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we will remember and trust in the name of the Lord our God.

Prayer for Victory over Enemies.

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.

1 [1]May the Lord answer you (David) in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob set you securely on high [and defend you in battle]!

2 May He send you help from the sanctuary (His dwelling place) and support and strengthen you from Zion!

3 May He remember all your meal offerings and accept your burnt offering. Selah.

4 May He grant you your heart’s desire and fulfill all your plans.

5 We will sing joyously over your victory, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners. May the Lord fulfill all your petitions.

6 Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand.

7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we will remember and trust in the name of the Lord our God.

8 They have bowed down and fallen, but we have risen and stood upright.

9 O Lord, save [the [2]king]; may the [3]King answer us in the day we call.
