Monday Morning Scripture – Psalm 51

A Contrite Sinner’s Prayer for Pardon.
To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David; when Nathan the prophet came to him after he had sinned with Bathsheba.
1 Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; according to the greatness of Your compassion blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash me thoroughly from my wickedness and guilt and cleanse me from my sin.
3 For I am conscious of my transgressions and I acknowledge them; my sin is always before me.
4 Against You, You only, have I sinned and done that which is evil in Your sight, so that You are justified when You speak [Your sentence] and faultless in Your judgment.
5 I was brought forth in [a state of] wickedness; in sin my mother conceived me [and from my beginning I, too, was sinful].
6 Behold, You desire truth in the innermost being, and in the hidden part [of my heart] You will make me know wisdom.
7 Purify me with [1]hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
8 Make me hear joy and gladness and be satisfied; let the bones which You have broken rejoice.
9 Hide Your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquities.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right and steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me away from Your presence and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and sustain me with a willing spirit.
13 Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners shall be converted and return to You.
14 Rescue me from bloodguiltiness, O God, the God of my salvation; then my tongue will sing joyfully of Your righteousness and Your justice.
15 O Lord, open my lips, that my mouth may declare Your praise.
16 For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it; You are not pleased with burnt offering.
17 My [only] sacrifice [acceptable] to God is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart [broken with sorrow for sin, thoroughly penitent], such, O God, You will not despise.
18 By Your favor do good to Zion; may You rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.
19 Then will You delight in the sacrifices of righteousness, in burnt offering and whole burnt offering; then young bulls will be offered on Your altar.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Create In Me A Clean Heart

It is time to pray prayers like David did in Psalm 51: Oh Lord, create in me a clean heart!
The Lord is searching the land for his pure and holy servants. Those who live a life close to the Father’s heart. Quick in forgiveness and repentance; in awe of the Lord God Almighty.
God is calling his bride to fully come back to his heart without any other idols or compromises. At this very moment, He is calling us to return to him.
Can you hear the cry of the Father?
He is so much longing for our hearts. He is so much longing to cleanse and purify us.
Come to him! Don’t wait for tomorrow. Run into the father’s arms. He is waiting for you.
Activation: Today, make Psalm 51 your personal prayer.
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.
Psalm 51:10 (ESV)
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.

Let The Joy Of The Lord Be Your Strength | A Blessed Morning Prayer To Start Your Day
Friday Morning Scripture (Wk33/2022) – 1 Peter 4:1-11 (AMP)

Keep Fervent In Your Love
1 Therefore, since [1]Christ suffered in the flesh [and died for us], arm yourselves [like warriors] with the same purpose [being willing to suffer for doing what is right and pleasing God], because whoever has suffered in the flesh [being like-minded with Christ] is done with [intentional] sin [having stopped pleasing the world],
2 so that he can no longer spend the rest of his natural life living for human appetites and desires, but [lives] for the will and purpose of God.
3 For the time already past is [more than] enough for doing what the [unsaved] Gentiles like to do—[2]living [unrestrained as you have done] in a course of [shameless] sensuality, lusts, drunkenness, carousing, drinking parties, and wanton idolatries.
4 In [connection with] all this, they [the unbelievers] are resentful and surprised that you do not [think like them, value their values and] run [hand in hand] with them into the same excesses of dissipation and immoral freedom, and they criticize and abuse and ridicule you and make fun of your values.
5 But they will [have to] give an account to Him who is ready to judge and pass sentence on the living and the dead.
6 For this is why the good news [of salvation] was preached [in their lifetimes] even to those who are dead, that though they were judged in the flesh as men are, they may live in the spirit according to [the will and purpose of] God.
7 The end and culmination of all things is near. Therefore, be sound-minded and self-controlled for the purpose of prayer [staying balanced and focused on the things of God so that your communication will be clear, reasonable, specific and pleasing to Him.]
8 Above all, have [3]fervent and unfailing love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins [it overlooks unkindness and unselfishly seeks the best for others].
9 Be [4]hospitable to one another without complaint.
10 Just as each one of you has received a special gift [a spiritual talent, an ability graciously given by God], employ it in serving one another as [is appropriate for] good stewards of God’s multi-faceted grace [faithfully using the diverse, varied gifts and abilities granted to Christians by God’s unmerited favor].
11 Whoever speaks [to the congregation], is to do so as one who speaks the oracles (utterances, the very words) of God. Whoever serves [the congregation] is to do so as one who serves by the strength which God [abundantly] supplies, so that in all things God may be glorified [honored and magnified] through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Friday Morning Scripture (W33/2022) – 1 Peter 4:1-11 (NKJV)

Christ’s Example to Be Followed
1 Therefore, since Christ suffered [1]for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,
2 that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.
3 For we have spent enough of our past [2]lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles—when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries.
4 In regard to these, they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same flood of dissipation, speaking evil of you.
5 They will give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.
6 For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
Serving For God’s Glory
7 But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.
8 And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”
9 Be hospitable to one another without grumbling.
10 As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
11 If anyone speaks, let him speak as the [3]oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the [4]dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Look Outside

Have you looked outside recently; I mean really taking a look outside the safety of your own home?
It is uncomfortable, isn’t it?
The world is a scary place with so much rebellion and hatred all around and no one taking responsibility for their actions. But I took responsibility for their actions and bore all that sin and took the punishment for it, and yet they do not know it. I know you want to be safe and sometimes it is easy to hideaway and cover yourself with your safety blanket. But aren’t you stifling the light inside of you? Small acts of love are all I require, and I will do the rest. Can you do that? Love covers a multitude of sins; this is what I ask you to do, to love your neighbour as yourself.
I know you can! I know how much pleasure that has brought you in the past, it brings me pleasure too.
So, respond to those nudges I am giving you, go and bless your neighbour and that simple act of love may result in their salvation.
Activation: Ask the Lord to show you where you can spread his love to those around you and step out in faith knowing that he will not disappoint you.
14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
Matthew 5:14-16 (NKJV)
8 And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”
9 Be hospitable to one another without grumbling.
10 As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

God Is Still With You (Don’t Give Up) | A Blessed Morning Prayer To Start Your Day
Thursday Morning Scripture (Wk33/2022) – John 4:19-38

Jesus and the Samaritan Woman
19 The woman said to him, “Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet.
20 Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, but you say that in Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship.”
21 Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father.
22 You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews.
23 But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.
24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”
25 The woman said to him, “I know that Messiah is coming (he who is called Christ). When he comes, he will tell us all things.”
26 Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am he.”
27 Just then his disciples came back. They marveled that he was talking with a woman, but no one said, “What do you seek?” or, “Why are you talking with her?”
28 So the woman left her water jar and went away into town and said to the people,
29 “Come, see a man who told me all that I ever did. Can this be the Christ?”
30 They went out of the town and were coming to him.
31 Meanwhile the disciples were urging him, saying, “Rabbi, eat.”
32 But he said to them, “I have food to eat that you do not know about.”
33 So the disciples said to one another, “Has anyone brought him something to eat?”
34 Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work.
