Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Who Do You Say I Am

On your feet! Stand up! It’s time for action to be on the move. This is not the time to sit with your feet up. This is not the time to hide in the back row.

I have readied you for action. You are “booted and suited”. It’s time to move. You are ready for action.

God is silencing the whispering of the enemy, trying to tell you that you are not ready or robbing you of the confidence that God has clothed you in.

I have made you to walk in peace, not panic. You are ready to walk the paths I have laid down for you, the way I have cleared for you. I have gone ahead of you. I have laced up your feet tight. The shoes fit you well. The shoes are not too tight, and equally, they are not too big. I have equipped you with the shoes you need for this season. Do not be afraid that your feet will slip. Do not be fearful of falling. I have made you sure-footed for the paths I am leading you along.

32 It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.

33 He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; He causes me to stand on the heights.

34 He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze.

35 You make Your saving help my shield, and Your right hand sustains me; Your help has made me great.

36 You provide a broad path for my feet, so that my ankles do not give way.

Psalm 118:32-36 (NIV)

13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,

15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.

Ephesians 6:13-15 (NIV)

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Open Your Heart

Today, will you choose to love others as I love them?

My beloved one, I know that the heart is a delicate thing. It can be easily crushed and wounded. Opening your heart to those around you means choosing to be vulnerable and letting them see you for who you are. I understand that this can be truly terrifying. And yet, can I not be trusted to guard your heart? For I am bigger than any fear you might have!

It is through love that people see me for who I really am.
It is through love that people are saved.
It is through love that people are transformed.

I know that it is a challenge but my commandment is this: love one another as I have loved you (John 15:11, NKJV).

Do not be afraid of opening your heart and allowing me to pour out my love through you. Where your heart has been marked by fear, allow me to bring my healing anointing and mark those areas with my love instead. Bring me your fears and let me unlock the closed off places of your heart.

Activation: Allowing ourselves to live in connection with those around us requires an understanding of how deeply God loves us. Seek God today for a fresh revelation of his love, then, ask him to show you how you can share this love.

I will run the course of Your commandments, For You shall enlarge my heart.

Psalm 119:32 (NKJV)

. . .there are three things that remain: faith, hope, and love – yet love surpasses them all. So above all else, let love be the beautiful prize for which you run.

Tuesday Morning Scripture (Wk40/2022) – 1 Corinthians 1-13

The Excellence of Love

1 If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not [1]love [for others growing out of God’s love for me], then I have become only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal [just an annoying distraction].

2 And if I have the gift of prophecy [and speak a new message from God to the people], and understand all mysteries, and [possess] all knowledge; and if I have all [sufficient] faith so that I can remove mountains, but do not have love [reaching out to others], I am nothing.

3 If I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body [2]to be burned, but do not have love, it does me no good at all.

4 Love endures with patience and serenity, love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant.

5 It is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered]; it does not take into account a wrong endured.

6 It does not rejoice at injustice, but rejoices with the truth [when right and truth prevail].

7 Love bears all things [regardless of what comes], believes all things [looking for the best in each one], hopes all things [remaining steadfast during difficult times], endures all things [without weakening].

8 Love never fails [it never fades nor ends]. But as for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for the gift of special knowledge, it will pass away.

9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part [for our knowledge is fragmentary and incomplete].

10 But when that which is complete and perfect comes, that which is incomplete and partial will pass away.

11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things.

12 For now [in this time of imperfection] we see in a mirror dimly [a blurred reflection, a riddle, an enigma], but then [when the time of perfection comes we will see reality] face to face. Now I know in part [just in fragments], but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known [by God].

13 And now there remain: faith [abiding trust in God and His promises], hope [confident expectation of eternal salvation], love [unselfish love for others growing out of God’s love for me], these three [the choicest graces]; but the greatest of these is love.

Tuesday Morning Scripture (Wk40/2022) – Psalm 119:25-32

Daleth

25 My earthly life clings to the dust; revive and refresh me according to Your word.

26 I have told of my ways, and You have answered me; teach me Your statutes.

27 Make me understand the way of Your precepts, so that I will meditate (focus my thoughts) on Your wonderful works.

28 My soul dissolves because of grief; renew and strengthen me according to [the promises of] Your word.

29 Remove from me the way of falsehood and unfaithfulness, and graciously grant me Your law.

30 I have chosen the faithful way; I have placed Your ordinances before me.

31 I cling tightly to Your testimonies; O Lord, do not put me to shame!

32 I will run the way of Your commandments [with purpose], for You will give me a heart that is willing.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – My Inner Working

Allow Me to take you into a closer examination of the inward workings of your heart.

As a watchmaker carefully regulates the intricacies of their time piece, allow Me to set things into right motion within you. Let me show you what is functioning properly, and what areas need to be fine-tuned.

Is your heart beating in time with the rhythms of Heaven?
Do you need a readjustment so that you are aligned with the right people and places?
Have you run ahead or behind My Kairos timing?

You have gone through a great reset but things like trauma, uncertainty, and pain can throw off your timings. Allow Me to reset the tiny pins in your heart so that all areas of your life come back into order with My perfect timing.

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 (NIV)

You perceive every moment of my heart and soul, and you understand my every thought before it even enters my mind. You are so intimately aware of me, Lord. You read my heart like an open book and you know all the words I’m about to speak before I even start a sentence! You know every step I will take before my journey even begins.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Upward Call

I am a Father who loves and adores my children at every age and stage of their lives, and all creation groans in anticipation of my children being revealed.

I long to reason together with you as my mature one and to reveal my glory in and through you as my son. This is the upward call I am extending to you. Cast off your fear of the responsibilities that come with growing up. You cannot, nor have I ever expected you to do anything without me.

Activation: Surrender your thoughts, understanding, and measurement of what it is to be my mature son. Meditate on my omnipotence (unlimited power) and omniscient (unlimited knowledge and understanding) nature inside of you and allow me to unearth and work out my gifts through you.

For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.

Friday Morning Scripture (Wk39/2022) – Romans 8:1-25

Escape from Bondage

Therefore there is now no condemnation [no guilty verdict, no punishment] for those who are in Christ Jesus [who believe in Him as personal Lord and Savior].

2 For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has set you free from the law of sin and of death.

3 For what the Law could not do [that is, overcome sin and remove its penalty, its power] being weakened by the flesh [man’s nature without the Holy Spirit], God did: He sent His own Son in the likeness of sinful man as an offering for sin. And He condemned sin in the flesh [subdued it and overcame it in the person of His own Son],

4 so that the [righteous and just] requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us who do not live our lives in the ways of the flesh [guided by worldliness and our sinful nature], but [live our lives] in the ways of the Spirit [guided by His power].

5 For those who are livingaccording to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh [which gratify the body], but those who are living according to the Spirit, [set their minds on] the things of the Spirit [His will and purpose].

6 Now the mind of the flesh is death [both now and forever—because it pursues sin]; but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace [the spiritual well-being that comes from walking with God—both now and forever];

7 the mind of the flesh [with its sinful pursuits] is actively hostile to God. It does not submit itself to God’s law, since it cannot,

8 and those who are in the flesh [living a life that caters to sinful appetites and impulses] cannot please God.

9 However, you are not [living] in the flesh [controlled by the sinful nature] but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God lives in you [directing and guiding you]. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him [and is not a child of God].

10 If Christ lives in you, though your [natural] body is dead because of sin, your spirit is alive because of righteousness [which He provides].

11 And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in you.

12 So then, [1]brothers and sisters, we have an obligation, but not to our flesh [our human nature, our worldliness, our sinful capacity], to live according to the [impulses of the] flesh [our nature without the Holy Spirit]

13 for if you are living according to the [impulses of the] flesh, you are going to die. But if [you are living] by the [power of the Holy] Spirit you are habitually putting to death the sinful deeds of the body, you will [really] live forever.

14 For all who are allowing themselves to be led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

15 For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading again to fear [of God’s judgment], but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons [the Spirit producing sonship] by which we [joyfully] cry, “[2]Abba! Father!”

16 The Spirit Himself testifies and confirms together with our spirit [assuring us] that we [believers] are children of God.

17 And if [we are His] children, [then we are His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His spiritual blessing and inheritance], if indeed we share in His suffering so that we may also share in His glory.

18 For I consider [from the standpoint of faith] that the sufferings of the present life are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us andin us!

19 For [even the whole] creation [all nature] waits eagerly for the children of God to be revealed.

20 For the creation was subjected to frustration and futility, not willingly [because of some intentional fault on its part], but by the will of Him who subjected it, in hope

21 that the creation itself will also be freed from its bondage to decay [and gain entrance] into the glorious freedom of the children of God.

22 For we know that the whole creation has been moaning together as in the pains of childbirth until now.

23 And not only this, but we too, who have the first fruits of the Spirit [a joyful indication of the blessings to come], even we groan inwardly, as we wait eagerly for [the sign of] our adoption as sons—the redemption and transformation of our body [at the resurrection].

24 For in this hope we were saved [by faith]. But hope [the object of] which is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he already sees?

25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait eagerly for it with patience and composure.

Thursday Morning Scripture (Wk39/2022) – 2 Chronicles 34:22-33

Huldah, the Prophetess, Speaks

22 So Hilkiah and those whom the king had told went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tokhath, the son of Hasrah, keeper of the wardrobe (now she lived in Jerusalem, in the Second Quarter); and they spoke to her about this.

23 And she answered them, “Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: ‘Tell the man who sent you to Me,

24 thus says the Lord: “Behold, I am bringing evil on this place and on its inhabitants, all the curses that are written in the book which they have read in the presence of the king of Judah.

25 Because they have abandoned (rejected) Me and have burned incense to other gods, in order to provoke Me to anger with all the works of their hands, [1]My wrath will be poured out on this place and it will not be extinguished.”’

26 But you shall say the following to King Josiah of Judah, who sent you to inquire of the Lord: ‘Thus says the Lord God of Israel, concerning the words which you have heard,

27 “Because your heart was gentle and penitent and you humbled yourself before God when you heard His words against this place and its inhabitants, and humbled yourself before Me, and tore your clothes and wept before Me, I also have heard you,” declares the Lord.

28 “Behold, I will gather you to your fathers [in death], and you shall be gathered to your grave in peace, and your eyes shall not see all the evil which I am going to bring on this place and on its inhabitants.”’” So they brought back word to the king.

29 Then the king sent word and gathered all the elders of Judah and Jerusalem.

30 And the king went up to the house of the Lord with all the men of Judah, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the priests, the Levites, and all the people, from the greatest to the least; and he read aloud so they could hear all the words of the Book of the Covenant which was found in the house of the Lord.

Josiah’s Good Reign

31 Then the king stood in his place and made a covenant before the Lord—to walk after (obey) the Lord, and to keep His commandments, His testimonies, and His statutes with all his heart and with all his soul, to perform the words of the covenant written in this book.

32 Further, he made all who were present in Jerusalem and Benjamin stand [with him, in confirmation of it]. So the inhabitants of Jerusalem acted in accordance with the covenant of God, the God of their fathers.

33 Josiah removed all the [pagan] repulsive things from all the lands belonging to the sons (descendants) of Israel, and made all who were present in Israel serve the Lord their God. Throughout his lifetime they did not turn from following the Lord God of their fathers.

2 Chronicle 34:22-33 (AMP)

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Tender Hearts

Because your heart was tender and you humbled yourself before God when you heard his words against this place and its inhabitants, and you have humbled yourself before me and have torn your clothes and wept before me, I also have heard you, declares the Lord.

2 Chronicles 34:27 (ESV)

Holy Spirit is saying, have you recognised the tenderness of God to you? And His faithfulness? He longs to bring you the experience of face-to-face pleasure of being aware of His tenderness and kindness towards you. Then you can have compassion on others. Like so much of the Fruit of the Spirit, it has to be experienced from God first to take root in our lives. Or have you been like Jeremiah saying, “I’ve had it with these people?” Jeremiah stayed in the presence of God long enough to catch the heart of God for the same folks.

Activation: Humbly ask the Lord to show you his gentle tenderness to you more than you have known so far. Spend time reflecting with Him about a time when you have not been tender and caring to others, particularly those of the household of faith. Ask him how to proceed from now on with thanksgiving.

The splendour light of heaven’s glorious sunrise is about to break upon us in holy visitation, all because the merciful heart of our God is so very tender.

Luke 1:78 (TPT)
