When Yahuah led the Israelites out of Egypt, you would expect Him to lead them the shortest and most efficient way to escape. You would expect that the Lord of heaven’s armies would strategise a fast and speedy freedom for His people. Right?
But that is not what mattered to the Lord. His strategy was focused on their forever freedom. He knew that if He led them out through the quickest route, they would most likely run back to their bondage in Egypt.
Today, Yahuah reminds you: It is time to trust My leading. It is time to trust that I have your freedom in mind. If you will simply submit to My leading, My promise is an irreversible, sustainable, resilient, galvanised freedom, a freedom like you have never known before.
So no matter how unconventional, random, or inconvenient the path before you seems, know that I am focused less on how long it takes to get you where you are going. I care more about the solidity of the journey that will allow you to enter the promise land. I never want you to return to the same bondage you have been freed from.
Activation: Take a moment to check-in on your emotions. Is any part of you feeling frustrated with the journey you are on? Are you feeling discouraged or believing that your progress has been too slow? Break all partnership with these beliefs and then ask Holy Spirit for a deeper understanding of Yahuah’s timing. Spend some time with the Holy Spirit gaining understanding of the journey you are on.
Crossing the Sea
17 When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, “If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt.”
18 So God led the people around by the desert road toward the Red Sea.[a]The Israelites went up out of Egypt ready for battle.
Exodus 13:17-18 (NIV) Footnotes [a] Exodus 13:18 Or the Sea of Reeds
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
I AM the resurrection and the life. But, many prefer darkness to the true light. Like Lazarus, many have died inside and they are seeking satisfaction in the world. They are after temporary fixes for that craving and they think that they have overcome it. Like the Samaritan woman, they kept on chasing lifeless idols.
I AM the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me will have a new life in Me. David was the man after My own heart; But, it didn’t stop Me from bringing him to his knees. The longer he walked in disobedience, the more he suffered. I forgave his sins when he repented, but there were consequences for his choices.
Remember! I do not change. I AM the same, yesterday, today and forever. You can’t keep yourself hidden away; I know the fullness of who you are. Be upfront with Me, for it is My desire to see you set free. Step into the light, My child!
Activation: If you are hiding anything from God, this is the time to be authentic and vulnerable before Him. He cannot roll the stone for you until you come before Him in humility. When you come to Him, He will not leave you alone, instead, He will walk with you to freedom if you allow Him to. So, what is stopping you from being unbound from your grave clothes?
Can’t Hide Behind a Religious Mask
By this time the crowd, unwieldy and stepping on each other’s toes, numbered into the thousands. But Jesus’ primary concern was his disciples. He said to them, “Watch yourselves carefully so you don’t get contaminated with Pharisee yeast, Pharisee phoniness. You can’t keep your true self hidden forever; before long you’ll be exposed. You can’t hide behind a religious mask forever; sooner or later the mask will slip and your true face will be known. You can’t whisper one thing in private and preach the opposite in public; the day’s coming when those whispers will be repeated all over town.
Luke 12:1-3 (MSG)
10 Create [a]in me a clean heart, God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and sustain me with a willing spirit.
Psalm 51:10 12 (NASB) Footnotes [a] Psalm 51:10 Lit for
My child, trust Me as the chief navigator in your life. You have spent so long in the driver seat trying to follow Me in your own strength that it has wearied you. Remember, I Am the way.
There is no confusion or hesitation in Me. I know where I am taking you and the route we are going. If you let go of the steering wheel and move aside to the passenger seat, you will make far more progress. Travelling with Me is not exhausting. It is the journey of being shepherded.
The shepherd takes the weight of leading the sheep – they simply follow, trusting in the route taken as they focus on the shepherd. He is their all-sufficient compass.
Remember, the journey with Me will always restore your soul and lead you in routes of righteousness. And there is your joy.
Activation: Take time with Yahuah asking if you are in the driver seat of your life (or any part) instead of letting Yahuah have that place. If so, ask forgiveness and say, ‘Yahuah, I choose to move into the passenger seat and allow you to drive.’ You can picture yourself letting go of the steering wheel and moving across. As you do, allow yourself to feel the release of weight that change brings. Now ask the Holy Spirit to show you what restoration of soul He wants to do in you in that moment. Sit with Him awhile, drinking it in.
Pour out all your worries and stress upon Him and leave them there, for He always tenderly cares for you.
1 Peter 1:7 (TPT)
A Psalm of David.
1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters,
3 He refreshes my soul.He guides me along the right paths for His name’s sake.
When you plant and position yourself at the riverbank, you will bear fruit. Fruit that will last long and endure. Even in the dry seasons, you will not wither. When you allow My water to penetrate you daily, it refreshes your soul and gives you life.
When you don’t surrender certain areas to Me, you block My water from flowing within you. Those places become parched land. Like the leaven, it spreads, modifies and transforms your soul. When you allow My water to flow, it brings life to those dry places.
I have given you free will; you get to choose between life and death. I call heaven and earth to witness the choice you make.
If you accept Me as your King and Redeemer, you must be willing to wholeheartedly abandon yourself at the hands of your King.
Activation: Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you any areas in your life that you have knowingly or unknowingly not submitted to Yahuah’s lordship. Then, take action on what He is revealing to you.
Along the bank of the river, on this side and that, will grow all kinds of trees used for food; their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month, because their water flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for medicine.”[a]
Ezekiel 47:12 (NKJV) Footnotes [a] Ezekiel 47:12 Or healing
4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of Yahuah, the holy place where the Most High dwells.
5 God is within her, she will not fall; Yahuah will help her at break of day.
Reading my word brings renewal. Declaring my word inspires passion and growth. The word is a route to deeper understanding and stronger intimacy with Me. For many though, My word seems impenetrable, like it is beyond you and filled with things that you will never understand. These are lies which hinder and disempower you. Have patience with yourself as you read My word. Ask for My joy and divine understanding to fill you as you read. These words are gifts of life that release you into fullness. Anything which says otherwise must be silenced!
Activation: Placing a hand on your head, repent of anywhere that you have knowingly and unknowingly partnered with any lies having to do with your ability to read and understand scripture. Then, declare the following over yourself: In the name of Yahusha, I declare that when I read the word of Yahuah, I understand it. By my Father’s grace I receive life and understanding every time I read the bible. I will be patient with myself as I comprehend what I read. I declare that where I have despair or defeat, I receive fresh passion and joy!
Remember what you were taught from your childhood from the Holy Scrolls which can impart to you wisdom to experience everlasting life through the faith of Jesus, the Anointed One! God has transmitted his very substance into every Scripture, for it is God-breathed. It will empower you by its instruction and correction, giving you the strength to take the right direction and lead you deeper into the path of godliness. Then you will be God’s servant, fully mature and perfectly prepared to fulfill any assignment God gives you. This is the mighty power that was released when God raised Christ from the dead and exalted him to the place of highest honor and supreme authority in the heavenly realm!
2 Timothy 3:17-20 (TPT)
I pray that the Father of glory, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, would impart to you the riches of the Spirit of wisdom and the Spirit of revelation to know him through your deepening intimacy with him. I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination, flooding you with light, until you experience the full revelation of the hope of his calling —that is, the wealth of God’s glorious inheritances that he finds in us, his holy ones! I pray that you will continually experience the immeasurable greatness of God’s power made available to you through faith. Then your lives will be an advertisement of this immense power as it works through you! This is the mighty power
Iknow that for many of you, there is a heavy load that is weighing you down. This load is not yours to carry! I need you to work with Me in releasing this burden from your shoulders.
Will you choose today to silence all doubt by breaking partnership with it?
Command the voice of fear and doubt that is weighing you down to be silent!
Today, make the move to fix your focus on Me and Me alone. Stop looking heaviness in the eye and join your gaze to Mine. This is your choice.
I encourage you today to be vigilant in prayer – focus on my voice and what I have to say to you. The call today is to draw close to Me; draw close to your life source.
I am never far away.
Activation: In the Spirit, posture yourself before the feet of Yahusha. Hand to Him the heavy things that have weighed you down. Repent for where you have knowingly and unknowingly partnered with fear, doubt, and heaviness. As you release these things, pick up the fresh things Yahusha has foryou instead.
8 We are afflicted in every way but not crushed; we are perplexed but not in despair;
9 we are persecuted but not abandoned; we are struck down but not destroyed.
10 We always carry the death of Yahusha in our body, so that the life of Yahusha may also be displayed in our body.
11 For we who live are always being given over to death for Yahusha’s sake, so that Yahusha’s life may also be displayed in our mortal flesh.
12 So then, death is at work in us, but life in you.
13 And since we have the same spirit of faith in keeping with what is written, I believed, therefore I spoke,[a] we also believe, and therefore speak.
14 For we know that the one who raised the LordYahusha will also raise us with Yahusha and present us with you.
15 Indeed, everything is for your benefit so that, as grace extends through more and more people, it may cause thanksgiving to increase to the glory of Yahuah.
16 Thereforewe do not give up. Even though our outer person is being destroyed, our inner person is being renewed day by day.
I set before you a challenge, says Yahuah, to choose from the options I give you and to accept the consequences of your choice. You will need your wits about you because they are not what they appear and must be discerned, and they must be in reference to what you know about Me from what has been revealed to you.
The choices you have before you are different for everyone, for each has different preferences; each has different weaknesses and strengths. These choices are designed to show you what is in your heart and to expose the good as well as what still needs shaping. So, will you choose with the right heart, choosing only those things that would please Me?
There are many choices to be made in this life, each with its own cost and each will be examined. You see, life is full of choices, but there is only one wise choice and that is to choose My Son Yahusha. Once you have chosen Him, all other choices will come into place in reference to Him, says Yahuah.
15 “But what about you?” He asked. “Who do you say I am?”
16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
17 Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by My Father in heaven.
Matthew 16-15-17 (NIV)
30 It is because of him that you are in Christ Yahusha, Who has become for us wisdom from Yahuah —that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.
31 Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in Yahuah.”[a]
Well, Me, My child, what does “rest” mean to you? What does true rest look like to you? Be honest and don’t hold back. Tell me not what you think I want to hear or what you know it should be, but what does rest actually mean to you?
Is it some ethereal concept that cannot be grasped, or is it just beyond your reach in this busy world full of things that must be done? Is it just something that you have read about in the Bible but is a not-yet promise only truly yours when you die and go to heaven? And yet, I say to you come, will you who are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest, that is my promise. But My question is, do you not have rest because you have not come?
I’m waiting for your response to my invitation to come, I am waiting for you to take that step of faith and to receive My easy yoke and My light burden in exchange for what you are carrying. Simply this, My child, come says the Lord of the Sabbath.
Activation: Just stop a minute and reflect. Are you at rest? If not, it is time to come to Jesus and to sit in His presence. Sit at His feet and receive His rest. Allow all that you are carrying to fall off.
28 “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28-30 (NIV)
At the Home of Martha and Mary
38 As Yahusha and His disciples were on their way, He came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to Him.
39 She had a sister called Mary, who sat at Yahusha’s feet listening to what He said.
40 But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to Him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!”
41 “Martha, Martha,” Yahusha answered, “you are worried and upset about many things,
42 but few things are needed—or indeed only one.[a]Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”

20 So they got up early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem! Believe and trust in the Lord your God and you will be established (secure). Believe and trust in His prophets and succeed.”
21 When he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who sang to the Lordand those who praised Him in their holy (priestly) attire, as they went out before the army and said, “Praise and give thanks to the Lord, for His mercy and lovingkindness endure forever.”
22 When they began singing and praising, the Lord set ambushes against the sons of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; so they were struck down [in defeat].
23 For the sons of Ammon and Moab [suspecting betrayal] rose up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir, completely destroying them; and when they had finished with the inhabitants of Seir, they helped to destroy one another.

24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling or falling into sin, and to present you unblemished [blameless and faultless] in the presence of His glory with triumphant joy and unspeakable delight,
25 to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and power, before all time and now and forever. Amen.
Have you ever stopped on a warm day to look up at the sun as it shone brightly in the sky? For a moment, you pause, your eyes closed, and your breathing deep. It’s a moment where all feels right as you enjoy this simple, life-giving pleasure. Such a moment of bliss is what it is like to live in my light. You live encapsulated in my life-giving light. The warmth and delight I find in you radiates upon you every moment of the day. You need only stop and take a moment to embrace the light. Let my light cascade over you. Let my light lift you above the darkness. I know these days are complicated, but embrace the simple joy of knowing that I am King. Take a moment today to pause in my light and bask in my warmth.
Jesus replied, “Are there not twelve hours of daylight in every day? You can go through a day without the fear of stumbling when you walk in the One who gives light to the world. But you will stumble when the light is not in you, for you’ll be walking in the dark.”
John 11:9-10 (TPT)
A fountain of life was in Him, for His life is light for all humanity. And this Light never fails to shine through darkness— Light that darkness could not overcome!
