Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – A Cutting Edge

When times are difficult, it is tempting to think that I have left you and that I am not working for your good. The truth is, I will never leave you and I will perfect that which concerns you.

There may be occasions when you feel the journey you are on is too hard and you question My ways. You need to know that, within My Kingdom, there are tasks that require a greater level of skill and training. This is similar to requiring a neurosurgeon to operate on the brain – no one less skilled will do!

Today, Beloved, I want you to be encouraged that in times of difficulty, I am increasing your level of accuracy and skill for all I have for you. This way, you will not struggle when the need for your expertise arises, but instead, you will mount up on wings like eagles, and soar in your God-given purpose!

Activation: Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you areas of your life where He has trained you in the past for particular tasks. Take a moment to reflect on how this training has helped you and thank Him for all He has done. Then, ask Him to bring to mind a current area that He is helping you to grow in. Ask Him to remove any discouragement and to help you see your situation through His eyes. You may want to write or draw what He shows to you and share it with a friend, so they can pray with you and remind you of all that God is doing.

The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, endure forever—forsake not the works of Your own hands.

Psalm 138:8 (AMPC)

Prayer for Rescue and Prosperity.

Blessed be the Lord, my Rock and my great strength, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle;

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – In and Out of Time

Just like with David, who was already called into his place but was waiting for the fruition of that call, I am calling those hidden ones into the fullness of their call in the midst of battle. Just like Saul, who was out of time but not yet removed from his place, I am using this season of conflict as a way of removing those from their places who are out of time.

The currencies that will bring success at this time are the currencies of faith and honour. Just like David, I am looking for people who see the situation with eyes of faith and who obediently follow My direction in the midst of battle. The greatest test, however – just like David – is whether you will honour those in authority even when they mistreat you, reject you, or malign what you are doing. David treated Saul with great honour, dignity, kindness and respect growing his own stature and character.

Step up my hidden ones and take your places! Be shrewd and wise; make great decisions as you step into my fullness.

Activation:

Read through 1 Samuel 24 considering David and Saul’s interactions. How can you bless and honour those in leadership even if they have not treated you well? How can you pray for their blessing even if their actions or words are a curse to you? What an honour it is to be able to be like Jesus and love and honour in every situation so that we might display His character and likeness.

44 But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

45 so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

Matthew 5:44-45 (ESV)

A Hard Road before Them

“Listen carefully: I am sending you out like sheep among wolves; so be wise as serpents, and innocent as doves [have no self-serving agenda].

Matthew 10:16 (AMP)

Be Strong

1 So you, my son, be strong [constantly strengthened] and empowered in the grace that is [to be found only] in Christ Jesus.

2 The things [the doctrine, the precepts, the admonitions, the sum of my ministry] which you have heard me teach [a]in the presence of many witnesses, entrust [as a treasure] to reliable and faithful men who will also be capable and qualified to teach others.

Wednesday Morning Scripture – 1 Samuel 24

David Spares Saul’s Life

1 When Saul returned from following the Philistines, he was told, “Behold, David is in the [a]Wilderness of Engedi.”

2 Then Saul took three thousand chosen men out of all Israel and went to search for David and his men in front of the Rocks of the Wild Goats.

3 On the way he came to the [b]sheepfolds where there was a cave; and Saul went in to [c]relieve himself. Now David and his men were sitting in the cave’s innermost recesses.

4 David’s men said to him, “Behold, this is the day of which the Lord said to you, ‘Behold, I will hand over your enemy to you, and you shall do to him as seems good to you.’” Then David arose [in the darkness] and stealthily cut off the hem (edge) of Saul’s robe.

5 Afterward, David’s [d]conscience bothered him because he had cut off the hem of Saul’s robe.

6 He said to his men, “The Lord forbid that I should do this thing to my master, the Lord’s anointed, to put out my hand against him, since he is the anointed of the Lord.”

7 So David strongly rebuked his men with these words and did not let them rise up against Saul. Saul got up, left the cave and went on his way.

8 Then David also got up afterward and went out of the cave and called after Saul, saying, “My lord the king!” And when Saul looked behind him, David bowed with his face to the ground and lay himself face down.

9 David said to Saul, “Why do you listen to the words of men who say, ‘David seeks to harm you?’

10 Behold, your eyes have seen today how the Lord had given you into my hand in the cave. Some told me to kill you, but I spared you; I said, ‘I will not reach out my hand against my lord, for he is the Lord’s anointed.’

11 Look, my father! Indeed, see the hem of your robe in my hand! Since I cut off the hem of your robe and did not kill you, know and understand [without question] that there is no evil or treason in my hands. I have not sinned against you, though you are lying in wait to take my life.

12 May the Lord judge between me and you; and may the Lord avenge me on you; but my hand shall not be against you.

13 As the proverb of the ancients says, ‘Out of the wicked comes wickedness’; but my hand shall not be against you.

14 After whom has the king of Israel come out? Whom do you pursue [with three thousand men]? A dead dog, a single flea?

15 May the Lord be the judge and render judgment between me and you; and may He see and plead my cause and vindicate me by saving me from your hand.”

16 When David had finished saying these words to Saul, Saul said, “Is this your voice, my son David?” Then Saul raised his voice and wept.

17 He said to David, “You are more righteous and upright [in God’s eyes] than I; for you have done good to me, but I have done evil to you.

18 You have declared today the good that you have done to me, for when the Lord put me into your hand, you did not kill me.

19 For if a man finds his enemy, will he let him go away [e]unharmed? So may the Lord reward you with good in return for what you have done for me this day.

20 Now, behold, I know that you will certainly be king and that the kingdom of Israel will be established in your hand.

21 So now swear to me by the Lord that you will not cut off my descendants after me and that you will not destroy my name from my father’s household (extended family).”

22 David gave Saul his oath; and Saul went home, but David and his men went up to the mountain stronghold.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Drink of Me

My Beloved, I am the Holy Spirit. I am with you and live within you. I am not just meant to be an experience at church. Don’t be tempted to use me like a water bottle, there for a sip when you are most in need, or as a hot water bottle that you hold on to only when you seek comfort and warmth. I am so much more than this!

I am your Comforter, Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener and the Spirit of Truth. I am a well of water springing up within you that leads you, and those you share Me with, to eternal life.

Today, spend time with Me and I will fill you afresh.

Do not just scratch the surface but dig deep and drink fully of My presence. Allow Me to refresh you from the inside out. Engage completely with all I have for you by keeping your focus on Me moment by moment. For some, you will experience healing, others, divine strategies and still others, revelation. I have so much I want to share with you if you will fully partner with Me! I am reaching out to you to give you more of Myself. Will you accept My gift?

Activation
A prayer to pray: Dear Holy Spirit, thank you for the gift of yourself. I am so sorry for the times I have not engaged with you fully and operated in my own strength, not yours. I repent of the times I held back and did not share you with others. Please would you come now and fill me anew. Will you fill the well inside of me completely with your lifegiving presence. Teach me how to be aware of you every moment of every day. I choose now to accept you fully. Amen

Now, take a moment to just receive from Holy Spirit all He has for you. Then take a pen & paper with you throughout your day and write down whatever the Holy Spirit shows you.

Role of the Spirit

16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another [a]Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), to be with you forever—

17 the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive [and take to its heart] because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He (the Holy Spirit) remains with you continually and will be in you.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Stay in the Game

My now is not a time to get side-tracked.

At times, you have looked at other options as you thought that it would bring deeper satisfaction or that you would find a more fulfilling purpose. Listen, My dear child, don’t be tempted to walk over to the side line because you think something better is happening there.

That’s not where the real game is. Remain on the playing field, even when the game is on pause. Wait until you hear Me say, “Go!”

This season is a crucial time of selecting the right players and staying submitted to the coach. Use the time well so you can be fully equipped and get the stamina needed for the main event.

I am equipping you with resilience right now. This resilience will help you to recover quickly from difficulties. You will withstand temptations. You will spring back into shape in a brief moment, whereas before, it would take days and weeks. You will notice how, instead of retaliating, you are walking in complete peace.

In this hour, you will experience increased capacity on all levels. In the waiting, you will sense My steadfast hand and favour upon you.

Activation:

Reflect with the Holy Spirit if anything is trying to pull you away from your true purpose right now. Are there distractions that pull you away because they seem more interesting? Ask the Lord for discernment so you will not react to the enemy’s proposals, but instead, hear God’s voice more accurately and remain in the area where He has placed you.

For you have need of patient endurance [to bear up under difficult circumstances without compromising], so that when you have carried out the will of God, you may receive and enjoy to the full what is promised.

Hebrews 10:36 (AMP)

Consider well and watch carefully the path of your feet, and all your ways will be steadfast and sure.

Proverbs 4:26 (AMP)

for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Position Yourself

My children, I know there are times when you literally feel as if you are walking through the valley of the shadow of death. As a result, you have felt nervous, shaky and overwhelmed. Know that I see, I sense, and I understand what you are going through. Come to Me my sons and daughters and enter into My peace. My presence will calm your anxiety and comfort your soul. Hear My voice as I speak words of assurance over you.

2 Kings 18-19 records the events in the life of Hezekiah, King of Judah. The scripture states that no king before or after, was like him. He served Me, he removed the statues and idols of the false gods. He fasted and obeyed Me; I was with him and made him successful. He refused to follow or serve the Assyrian king. He successfully fought against and defeated the Philistines. However, when the Sennacherib, king of Assyria sent his chief commander to Jerusalem to insight fear into Hezekiah and the people of Judah, the King came to Me, he also sent some of his leaders to speak to the prophet Isaiah. Isaiah shared My heart with Hezekiah by telling him not to be fearful. Even still on receiving another threat in the form of a letter from the Sennacherib, the King of Judah laid it out before Me and asked Me to rescue him from the power of the Assyrians. I delivered King Hezekiah and his people from the threat of slavery and destruction.

If you turn to Me as the God who created the heavens and the earth, the enthroned one who delivers. As you lay your situation before Me, I will rescue you as I rescued Hezekiah and his people. I will take you to a place of safety and solution.

Activation: Position yourself in the Lord’s safety by turning to Him and laying your problem or the problem of your neighbour before Him. Recognise who the Lord is to you – your rescuer, protector, helper and deliverer. Worship the Lord in that aspect of His character and ask for His help.

15 And Hezekiah prayed this prayer before the Lord: “O Lord, God of Israel, you are enthroned between the mighty cherubim! You alone are God of all the kingdoms of the earth. You alone created the heavens and the earth.

16 Bend down, O Lord, and listen! Open your eyes, O Lord, and see! Listen to Sennacherib’s words of defiance against the living God.

2 Kings 19:15-16 (NLT)

Now, O Lord our God, rescue us from his power; then all the kingdoms of the earth will know that you alone, O Lord, are God.”

2 Kings 19:19 (NLT)

The name of the Lord is a strong fortress; the godly run to Him and are safe.

Friday Morning Scripture – 2 Kings 19:1-19

Hezekiah Seeks the Lord’s Help

1 When King Hezekiah heard their report, he tore his clothes and put on burlap and went into the Temple of the Lord.

2 And he sent Eliakim the palace administrator, Shebna the court secretary, and the leading priests, all dressed in burlap, to the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz.

3 They told him, “This is what King Hezekiah says: Today is a day of trouble, insults, and disgrace. It is like when a child is ready to be born, but the mother has no strength to deliver the baby.

4 But perhaps the Lord your God has heard the Assyrian chief of staff,[a]sent by the king to defy the living God, and will punish him for his words. Oh, pray for those of us who are left!”

5 After King Hezekiah’s officials delivered the king’s message to Isaiah,

6 the prophet replied, “Say to your master, ‘This is what the Lord says: Do not be disturbed by this blasphemous speech against me from the Assyrian king’s messengers.

7 Listen! I myself will move against him,[b]and the king will receive a message that he is needed at home. So he will return to his land, where I will have him killed with a sword.’”

8 Meanwhile, the Assyrian chief of staff left Jerusalem and went to consult the king of Assyria, who had left Lachish and was attacking Libnah.

9 Soon afterward King Sennacherib received word that King Tirhakah of Ethiopia[c] was leading an army to fight against him. Before leaving to meet the attack, he sent messengers back to Hezekiah in Jerusalem with this message:

10 “This message is for King Hezekiah of Judah. Don’t let your God, in whom you trust, deceive you with promises that Jerusalem will not be captured by the king of Assyria.

11 You know perfectly well what the kings of Assyria have done wherever they have gone. They have completely destroyed everyone who stood in their way! Why should you be any different?

12 Have the gods of other nations rescued them—such nations as Gozan, Haran, Rezeph, and the people of Eden who were in Tel-assar? My predecessors destroyed them all!

13 What happened to the king of Hamath and the king of Arpad? What happened to the kings of Sepharvaim, Hena, and Ivvah?”

14 After Hezekiah received the letter from the messengers and read it, he went up to the Lord’s Temple and spread it out before the Lord.

17 “It is true, Lord, that the kings of Assyria have destroyed all these nations.

18 And they have thrown the gods of these nations into the fire and burned them. But of course the Assyrians could destroy them! They were not gods at all—only idols of wood and stone shaped by human hands.

19 Now, O Lord our God, rescue us from his power; then all the kingdoms of the earth will know that you alone, O Lord, are God.”

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Reconnect

When you gave your life to Me, I the Holy Spirit came to live in you, to dwell with you and to be your helper. Some of you forget that I am indwelling.

You are always connected to Me and I am ever present in your lives. Do not cast Me aside for I do not distance Myself from you.

I do not disconnect.

I do not remove My voice from you or make Myself absent in your presence when you are being led by Me. For some of you it feels like we live in the same house but make our dwelling places in different rooms, together but with some separation. I am asking you to come closer, to live with Me, to dwell with Me.

I want to be part of every aspect of your life with no places of disconnection. Will you open up all areas of your life to Me?

Will you abide in Me? Will you cohabitate with Me in ways we have never experienced one another before?

I am asking you to come up higher in this season but first I ask you to dwell with Me in My presence at all times.

Activation: Choose to be transparent and honest not only with Holy Spirit in these moments but also with yourself. Take some time to reflect on what He has brought to mind as you have been reading the word and hearing His desire to dwell in closer proximity to you. Lean in and listen to Him as He shares with you the things He wants from you in this. Be obedient and choose to say yes to whatever He asks you to do. Ask Him to help you be more aware of His presence daily and to learn to live in this new place of awareness.

You are a dwelling place for the Holy Spirit, He lives in you, you are interconnected, interwoven and together in all aspects of your life, there is no disconnection from Him, He is always close, always near, and always with you.

Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit

Thursday Morning Scripture – John 14:15-31

Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit

15 “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.

16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper,[a] to be with you forever,

17 even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. You know Him, for He dwells with you and will be[g] in you.

18 “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.

19 Yet a little while and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you also will live.

20 In that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.

21 Whoever has My commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”

22 Judas (not Iscariot) said to ?Him, “Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?”

23 Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word, and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make our home with him.

24 Whoever does not love Me does not keep My words. And the word that you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.

25 “These things I have spoken to you while I am still with you.

26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

27 Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

28 You heard Me say to you, ‘I am going away, and I will come to you.’ If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced, because I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.

29 And now I have told you before it takes place, so that when it does take place you may believe.

30 I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming. He has no claim on Me,

31 but I do as the Father has commanded Me, so that the world may know that I love the Father. Rise, let us go from here.
