Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Reconnect

When you gave your life to Me, I the Holy Spirit came to live in you, to dwell with you and to be your helper. Some of you forget that I am indwelling.

You are always connected to Me and I am ever present in your lives. Do not cast Me aside for I do not distance Myself from you.

I do not disconnect.

I do not remove My voice from you or make Myself absent in your presence when you are being led by Me. For some of you it feels like we live in the same house but make our dwelling places in different rooms, together but with some separation. I am asking you to come closer, to live with Me, to dwell with Me.

I want to be part of every aspect of your life with no places of disconnection. Will you open up all areas of your life to Me?

Will you abide in Me? Will you cohabitate with Me in ways we have never experienced one another before?

I am asking you to come up higher in this season but first I ask you to dwell with Me in My presence at all times.

Activation: Choose to be transparent and honest not only with Holy Spirit in these moments but also with yourself. Take some time to reflect on what He has brought to mind as you have been reading the word and hearing His desire to dwell in closer proximity to you. Lean in and listen to Him as He shares with you the things He wants from you in this. Be obedient and choose to say yes to whatever He asks you to do. Ask Him to help you be more aware of His presence daily and to learn to live in this new place of awareness.

You are a dwelling place for the Holy Spirit, He lives in you, you are interconnected, interwoven and together in all aspects of your life, there is no disconnection from Him, He is always close, always near, and always with you.

Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit

15 “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. 16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper,[a] to be with you forever,

17 even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. You know him, for He dwells with you and will be[b] in you.

Thursday Morning Scripture – John 14:15-31

Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit

15 “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.

16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper,[a] to be with you forever,

17 even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. You know Him, for He dwells with you and will be[g] in you.

18 “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.

19 Yet a little while and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you also will live.

20 In that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.

21 Whoever has My commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”

22 Judas (not Iscariot) said to ?Him, “Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?”

23 Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word, and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make our home with him.

24 Whoever does not love Me does not keep My words. And the word that you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.

25 “These things I have spoken to you while I am still with you.

26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

27 Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

28 You heard Me say to you, ‘I am going away, and I will come to you.’ If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced, because I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.

29 And now I have told you before it takes place, so that when it does take place you may believe.

30 I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming. He has no claim on Me,

31 but I do as the Father has commanded Me, so that the world may know that I love the Father. Rise, let us go from here.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Closer than Close

Though storms may rage around you, though waters may rise against you, though people may scorn and misunderstand you…..

Still I am closer than your skin, deeper than your dreams, and found within your heartbeat.

I am calling you to deeper levels of intimacy than you have ever known before.

The times of trial and testing in previous seasons have been a forerunner for now – for this time when your lifeline will be your proximity to Me.

You have chosen to press further into Me, even though the easier road would have been to distance yourself. You have prioritised time spent with Me, listening to My voice and discerning My will.

I have met you in those desperate moments when your heart cried out.

I have met you, I have formed you, I have shaped you, and I have prepared you for the season to come.

In this season, you will need to know Me, closer than close. Our intimacy will be your greatest weapon. Our knowing will be your deepest joy. Our union will be the strength that I have known that you will need.

So fold yourself beneath My wings, take refuge and comfort here.

Rest, recover, recharge and renew. For when you emerge, your confidence in Me will be beyond anything you dreamed. Your faith will rise to meet the challenges that you face head-on – safe within the knowledge that you are held and covered. Because I AM, closer than close.

Activation: Take some time now to assess your proximity to Jesus. Ask Him to show you what your union with Him looks like.

Pray – ask Him to take you into deeper levels of intimacy with Him, ask him to remove any barriers that you are placing in the way so you can be entirely free in your union with Him. Ask Him to show you what it means to be folded beneath His wings. Bring to Him the storms that are currently raging in your life, from this place of intimacy, ask Him to give you the strategies and the faith that you need to overcome them.

So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.

Colossians 2:10 (NLT)

Confidence in God’s Protection.

To the Chief Musician; on stringed instruments. A Psalm of David.

1 Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer.

2 From the end of the earth I call to You, when my heart is overwhelmed and weak; lead me to the rock that is higher than I [a rock that is too high to reach without Your help].

3 For You have been a shelter and a refuge for me, a strong tower against the enemy.

4 Let me dwell in Your tent forever; let me take refuge in the shelter of Your wings. Selah.

5 For You have heard my vows, O God; You have given me the inheritance of those who fear Your name [with reverence].

Wednesday Morning Scripture – Colossians 2

You Are Built Up in Christ

1 For I want you to know how great a struggle I have for you and for those [believers] at [a]Laodicea, and for all who [like yourselves] have never seen me face to face.

2 [For my hope is] that their hearts may be encouraged as they are knit together in [unselfish] [b]love, so that they may have all the riches that come from the full assurance of understanding [the joy of salvation], resulting in a true [and more intimate] knowledge of the [c]mystery of God, that is, Christ,

3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge [regarding the word and purposes of God].

4 I say this so that no one will deceive you with persuasive [but thoroughly deceptive] arguments.

5 For even though I am absent [from you] in body, nevertheless I am with you in spirit, [d]delighted to see your good discipline [as you stand shoulder to shoulder and form a solid front] and to see the stability of your faith in Christ [your steadfast reliance on Him and your unwavering confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness].

6 Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in [union with] Him [reflecting His character in the things you do and say—living lives that lead others away from sin],

7 having been deeply rooted [in Him] and now being continually built up in Him and [becoming increasingly more] established [e]in your faith, just as you were taught, and overflowing in it with gratitude.

8 See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception [pseudo-intellectual babble], according to the tradition [and musings] of mere men, following the [f]elementary principles of this world, rather than following [the truth—the teachings of] Christ.

9 For in Him all the fullness of Deity (the Godhead) dwells in bodily form [completely expressing the divine essence of God].

10 And in Him you have been made complete [achieving spiritual stature through Christ], and He is the head over all rule and authority [of every angelic and earthly power].

11 In Him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, but by the [spiritual] circumcision of Christ in the stripping off of the body of the flesh [the sinful carnal nature],

12 having been buried with Him in baptism and raised with Him [to a new life] through [your] faith in the working of God, [as displayed] when He raised Christ from the dead.

13 When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh (worldliness, manner of life), God made you alive together with Christ, having [freely] forgiven us all our sins,

14 having canceled out the [g]certificate of debt consisting of [h]legal demands [which were in force] against us and which were hostile to us. And this certificate He has set aside and completely removed by nailing it to the cross.

15 When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities [those supernatural forces of evil operating against us], He made a public example of them [exhibiting them as captives in His triumphal procession], having triumphed over them through [i]the cross.

16 Therefore let no one judge you in regard to food and drink or in regard to [the observance of] a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day.

17 Such things are only a shadow of what is to come and they have only symbolic value; but the substance [the reality of what is foreshadowed] belongs to Christ.

18 Let no one defraud you of your prize [your freedom in Christ and your salvation] by insisting on mock humility and the worship of angels, going into detail about visions [he claims] he has seen [to justify his authority], puffed up [in conceit] by his unspiritual mind,

19 and not holding fast to the head [of the body, Jesus Christ], from whom the entire body, supplied and knit together by its joints and ligaments, grows with the growth [that can come only] from God.

20 If you have died with Christ to the [j]elementary principles of the world, why, as if you were still living in the world, do you submit to rules and regulations, such as,

21 “Do not handle [this], do not taste [that], do not [even] touch!”?

22 (these things all perish with use)—in accordance with the commandments and teachings of men.

23 These practices indeed have the appearance [that popularly passes as that] of wisdom in self-made religion and mock humility and severe treatment of the body (asceticism), but are of no value against sinful indulgence [because they do not honor God].

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Out of the Cave

Today the Lord says:

You come to Me, for you want Me, and you seek Me with all your heart. Go to others, also seeking the best for them with all your heart. Share the parts of Me that you know well, My forgiveness, My strength at difficult times, My challenge, My fear, My wisdom, My call.

When you are tired, you come to Me. When you are weary, you come to Me. When you are challenged, you come to Me. When you are ill, you come to Me. Of course! For you know the depth of My love for you.

You have heard about the harvest of souls, the harvest of the prodigals. I say to you again, grow as I stretch you, do not resist. Be emboldened in the Spirit in leading others and praying for them, and asking for miracles, signs, and wonders to come from the heavens.

Some are hiding wickedness in their caves, and others hide from the enemy of their souls. I see everything, including all that you yield to Me and all that you withhold. Let your cry be ‘Yes Lord, anywhere and anytime for you’. What is the cost? It is to come out of your cave. I call you to be unselfish with all that I have given you. See that I have provided you with all you need for the journey.

Bring others out of their caves through your life, through your influence, and your testimony, particularly how you have held on to Me in desperate times. Keep standing solid on My foundation, and do not withhold blessing from others. For I provide an abundance of life which is not diminished by sharing it. Be the person with decisive cave-opening words and joyous encouragement for others.

Make Me your hiding place rather than a cold cave. I give you what you need to be this person in your heart, and the challenge is for now, even in your weakness. Extol Me as your Lord, not hiding in a cave, but in your mouth and your actions proving Me THE Saviour and Lord for you and for others.

Do not forget who you are, a mighty servant of Almighty God.

And people shall enter the caves of the rocks and the holes of the ground,[a] from before the terror of the Lord, and from the splendor of His majesty, when He rises to terrify the earth.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – Purified Ones

This is a call for the burning ones to stand up and to fight, taking back enemy ground that is rightfully Mine. I am asking you to rise up with purified hearts and intentions. In this season I am rising up and taking back what is Mine!

I want to take back every part of your heart that has been turned from Me and bring it back to the place of yearning for Me as you turn to Me to meet every need. I am the way, the truth, and the life and where there have been dead places in you, I come to bring them back to life.

I am reviving, healing, and purifying hearts in this season. I am asking you to allow My purification process to take place in your heart through the testing and challenges of this season. I want all of your attention and all of your intentions to be fixed and focused on Me and My will in this season. I am asking you to allow My purification process to take place in your heart through the testing and challenges of this season. I want all of your attention and all of your intentions to be fixed and focused on Me and My will in this season. No divided heart will take a rightful place in my kingdom; I am asking for your sole focus to be on Me.

I am calling forth the purified ones!

Allow yourself to be purified of all that has stolen your attention from Me and to be solely focused on Me and my purposes in this time.

Activation: Ask God to personally work with you as a response to this word to bring to mind the places where your focus is stolen and things vie for your attention. Allow Him to show you the purification process you have been in and all that He is bringing out of this season.

Spend time decreeing and declaring for those around you as this is not a time to be solely introspective but a time to be extrospective and aware of those around us. Declare out loud:

I declare that there will be unity where the enemy has sought to cause division within relationships, families and friendships.

I declare that all the places of distraction will be turned to places of focus. I decree that any places where there has been death there will be life. I declare that God will bring purification to the hearts of those who yield to Him in this season.

(for you shall worship no other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God),

Exodus 34:14 (ESV)

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.

Lion Bites – Global Prophetic Alliance – See As I See

I am calling you to see in the spirit. To see things as I see them. To see people as I see them. My Kingdom is not made of bricks and mortar but of living stones for My focus is on raising up sons and daughters. To meaningfully serve and lead in My Kingdom is to pour yourself out for others and see them raised into fullness in Me.

To be about the business of My Kingdom is to have your eyes and ears focused on heaven. See things as I see them, and you will know what I am doing. When you know what I am doing, you can partner with Me.

Do not be concerned with any worldly measurement of success for yourself or for those around you. Learn to see people as I see them. Be attuned to My voice and obedient to My directing. Then you can share in My great joy!

Activation: Think about the situation you are in that involves other people. Ask the Lord to show you how He sees those people. Ask Him to direct your prayers for them. If the answering of those prayers involves your own obedience in a particular aspect, be obedient to His directing.

You [believers], like living stones, are [a]being built up into a spiritual house for a holy and dedicated priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices [that are] acceptable and pleasing to God through Jesus Christ.

Friday Morning Scripture – 1 Samuel 16:1-11

The Garden Star-of-Bethlehem

Samuel Goes to Bethlehem

1 The Lord said to Samuel, “How long will you grieve for Saul, when I have rejected him as king over Israel? [a]Fill your horn with oil and go; I will send you to Jesse the Bethlehemite, for I have chosen a king for Myself among his sons.”

But Samuel said, “How can I go? When Saul hears about it, he will kill me.” And the Lord said, “Take a heifer from the herd with you and say, ‘I have come to sacrifice to the Lord.’

You shall invite Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will show you what you shall do [after that]; and you shall anoint for Me the one whom I designate.”

So Samuel did what the Lord said, and came to Bethlehem. And the elders of the city came trembling to meet him and said, “Do you come in peace?”

And he said, “In peace; I have come to sacrifice to the Lord. Consecrate yourselves and come with me to the sacrifice.” He also consecrated Jesse and his sons and invited them to the sacrifice.

So it happened, when they had come, he looked at Eliab [the eldest son] and thought, “Surely the Lord’s anointed is before Him.”

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees; for man looks [b]at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

Then Jesse called Abinadab and had him pass before Samuel. But Samuel said, “The Lord has not chosen this one either.”

Next Jesse had Shammah pass by. And Samuel said, “The Lord has not chosen him either.”

10 Jesse had seven of his sons pass before Samuel. But Samuel said to Jesse, “The Lord has not chosen [any of] these.”

11 Then Samuel said to Jesse, “Are all your sons here?” Jesse replied, “There is still one left, the youngest; he is tending the sheep.” Samuel said to Jesse, “Send word and bring him; because we will not sit down [to eat the sacrificial meal] until he comes here.”
