What do you expect this day to bring? Victories or defeats? Land taken or ground conceded? Delight or disappointment? Or perhaps your expectations are less risky?”, says the Lord.
“I am the Lord your God. Every day is a gift I provide, a creation I sustain and a promise I keep. Stop looking at things through human eyes and consider them through My perspective, what I have prepared and laid out for you. Your time is not defined by human endeavours nor are your achievements measured by the world’s standards.
My children, did I not say that My plans are for you to prosper, not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future? Change your outlook from an earthly one to a heavenly one: See what I see, comprehend what I comprehend.
As you discern My thoughts and dwell in My Word, you will be the tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaves do not wither. You will go forward with a Kingdom mindset in the knowledge that My expectations for you are always great.”
Activation:
Find in Scripture some of the people whom God promised great things to, and reflect on the pledges He made to them. Consider those in the light of Jesus’ prophetic word to His disciples, that “anyone who believes in Me [as Savior] will also do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these [in extent and outreach]” (John 14:12 AMP) through the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Give thanks to God that this Word applies to you.
For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the LORD, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
