The walls will fall! Just as the obedience of My people and the sound of the shofars caused the walls of Jericho to fall, so will your obedience and the sound of your praises break down the walls that have confined you, entrapped you, and kept you thinking small.
Do not forget that I inhabit your praise and that the enemy must flee from My presence. Do not forget that you have the mind of Christ. When you are uncertain about what to do or how to get free, praise and worship Me with abandon.
Sing, shout and dance before Me. Then you will look around and say, ‘Where are the walls and where is the smallness? They are no more for my God has done what He promised, and that which held me in captivity is gone.’
Activation:
Write down the things in your life which feel more like bondage than freedom. Confess any beliefs you have which keep you in small-minded thinking. Then worship and praise God with abandon. Declare out loud, “The walls will fall,” until you sense it is so. Thank God for who He is and what He has done.
So the people shouted [the battle cry], and the priests blew the trumpets. When the people heard the sound of the trumpet, they raised a great shout and the wall [of Jericho] fell down, so that the sons of Israel went up into the city, every man straight ahead [climbing over the rubble], and they overthrew the city.
