My beloved, it’s that time of year that’s so familiar. You have read about My coming to earth year after year. Yet today I ask you to sit in awe of the incredible miracle that the Word made flesh was.
Sit with Me. Meditate on that I, who am not created but stand above My creation, chose to become flesh. I became one cell in the body of a virgin that divided and formed My body, and I was born into this world. Helpless. Reliant.
I had to learn to walk and to speak. I had to grow and become a man. The man who would take on the sin of every person created, and die. Only to be resurrected to the highest place in heaven. And I did all this for you.
My beloved, you must also die to your old life, and be born into a new life in Me. I have saved you not only from your sin, but I am making you to be more and more like Me.
As this year ends, meditate on what it means for you to only do what you see the Father does. How you can live in greater intimacy and oneness with Me. What a wonderful year of discovery we will have together beloved.
5 Have this same attitude in yourselves which was in Christ Jesus [look to Him as your example in selfless humility],
6 who, although He existed in the form and unchanging essence of God [as One with Him, possessing the fullness of all the divine attributes—the entire nature of deity], did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped or asserted [as if He did not already possess it, or was afraid of losing it];
7 but emptied Himself [without renouncing or diminishing His deity, but only temporarily giving up the outward expression of divine equality and His rightful dignity] by assuming the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men [He became completely human but was without sin, being fully God and fully man].
