Throw off chains and coats of disappointment! Rejoice and leap for joy! Return to adoration, for am I not worthy? Remember what My joy feels like. Remember I am the Lord who saves you. I am the Lord who restores what has been lost.
My hands are filled with garments of praise for you. Come and see what I have for you, mantles of joy rippling forth from My hands. See the delight that I have in you, the love I pour forth out on you.
Come and adore your King, this is your invitation. For I wait for you, with splendid clothes of glad tidings ready for you to wear.
Activation:
Ask Jesus to show you the new clothes of praise He has for you. Let Jesus dress you in the clothes and praise Him as He does. Have fun with this activation!
To grant to those who mourn in Zion the following:
To give them a [a]turban instead of dust [on their heads, a sign of mourning],
The oil of joy instead of mourning,
The garment [expressive] of praise instead of a disheartened spirit.
So they will be called the trees of righteousness [strong and magnificent, distinguished for integrity, justice, and right standing with God],
The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.Isaiah 61:3 (AMP)
Footnotes
[a] Isaiah 61:3 In the Hebrew there is a kind of wordplay here as “turban” (Heb pe’er) and dust (epher) have the same consonants and similar vowels.
