I am bringing a new weight and revelation to the body of Christ to reignite the power and the victory of communion. I am reawakening hearts and minds into a new awareness of what it means to Commune with Me, to connect with Me in this way. Communion is the meal of absolute victory. The meal which confirms your covenant with Me and the meal we are to take until My return. I am reawakening your viewpoint of communion and helping refresh love and adoration for Me. To help you live in an active remembrance of the one who died because of His love for you.
At My table, bread and wine become more than just symbols. They speak of the cost of love. Love that gives up everything. Love that holds nothing back. This is a promise of victory over the grave which can not be broken. A body broken and blood poured out not just for remembrance but for renewal. Communion with Me is a place of restored intimacy. A place of victory. A place of healing. A place of restored identity and rest in Me.
I say to you, come and sit with Me in the power of this feast and allow Me to flood you with fresh revelation. Let Me awaken you to the power of this feast. A feast which does not fail, does not disappoint but awakens your heart to who I Am and how I move. See communion with Me in a fresh light with fresh revelation.
Activation:
As you read the scripture below, let the words and revelation from the scripture mark you afresh. Reflect on what it means to practically apply “Do this in remembrance of Me”. Take communion as many times as you can and reflect the price Jesus paid for us all and the power of the cross. Remember the cost, remember the sacrifice and commune with Him today, from that position.
The Lord’s Prayer
23 [a]For I received from the Lord Himself that [instruction] which I passed on to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night in which He was betrayed took bread;
24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “This is (represents) My body, which is [offered as a sacrifice] for you. Do this in [affectionate] remembrance of Me.”
25 In the same way, after supper He took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant [ratified and established] in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in [affectionate] remembrance of Me.”
26 For every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are [symbolically] proclaiming [the fact of] the Lord’s death until He comes [again].
1 Corinthians 11:23-26 (AMP)
Footnotes
[a] 1 Corinthians 11:23 Many scholars believe this may be the first written description of the Lord’s Supper since this letter from Paul is dated earlier than any of the Gospels.
