Will you be My advocate this year and stand in the gap for My people?
Will you cover them in prayer and allow My Spirit to intercede through you?
If you have lost the zeal when it comes to prayer, ask Me to increase your desire and passion to intercede. The fervent prayer of a righteous man has great effect. Do not underestimate the power of your prayers. Let your prayers be energised by My spirit. Let it grow into earnest, sincere, hearty, persistent prayers.
I will highlight specific areas I want you to pray into in this season. It may not just be for your loved ones. Listen to the promptings from My spirit. Pay attention to dreams I give you in the night. Then, keep praying. I will give you more awareness of people, circumstances and specific situations that I want you to pray for. Then, push further and use your heavenly language to intercede. These utterings will open up new realms of revelation. Mysteries will be unravelled and lives will be transformed.
Activation:
Ask the Lord what you should intercede for this year. A particular group of people? A church that is struggling? An area in your city?
Write down the prayer points and check in regularly to see when the prayers have been answered.
If you don’t already have a prayer partner, connect with someone you can pray with regularly.
With all prayer and petition pray [with specific requests] at all times [on every occasion and in every season] in the Spirit, and with this in view, stay alert with all perseverance and petition [interceding in prayer] for all [a]God’s people.
